Track: Good The track was presented in a good racing condition. All other equipment operated well through out.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: FANCY KIWI ( W & T Steele ) completed a trial with out blinkers on Monday 26-10-2015 and is cleared to race without blinkers from that day.
BOSTON SPIRIT ( race 3 ) has been stood down per rule 80.1 to complete a satisfactory trial/s before being nominated to race again.

From last weeks meeting after the lids opened prematurely as the dogs were being loaded.
The Club electrician found a small problem that has been fixed with the boxes being well tested before todays meeting with no further problems.

Race 1	Mike Stent Decorators Ltd Sprint - C0 - 375	Racing in to the first bend PREOCCUPIED and OUR MYSTRO bumped and jostled fro some strides when racing in tight quarters. In the run across the top OUR MYSTRO arcing in tight quarters caught the hind of PREOCCUPIED who moved in checking SPEARMINT JUJU both dogs bumped going sideways. FEEL THE FORCE in behind caught the heels of DECEPTIVE LAD. DECEPTIVE LAD angled out sharply over heels to the outer. Racing in to the home straight PREOCCUPIED racing tightly alongside SPEARMINT JUJU hampering this runner for some strides as he attempted to push inwards. FEEL THE FORCE after being checked shortly before the home turn finished on well in to 5th placing at the line.
Race 2	Box1 Gold Sprint - C2 - 375	In the run to the first bend LORD DE AIR angled out across the face of LOCHINVAR MAUI as ROTOVEGAS SPARKY box 8 raced across forcing JACK MCCOY and WHO ROCKS who was checked back to the rear. Soon after racing in to the bend LOCHINVAR MAUI was checked back to the rear as JACK MCCOY improved past angling down to the rail. LOCHINVAR MAUI was unable to get back in to contention there after.
Race 3	YGOT Bonus Scheme Sprint - C1 - 375	Racing from the start ZALIA box 8 raced across the face of LADY JANE, BOSTON SPIRIT and YOU BETCHA NODDY. Racing in to the first bend BOSTON SPIRIT was hampered slightly as LADY JANE angled across, BOSTON SPIRIT raced a margin in the rear there after and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. The kennel rep for T Agent Ms K Williams was shown a replay of the run of BOSTON SPIRIT with the Stewards concerned for his performance in the latter stages. After hearing from K Williams her comments that the kennel are disappointed with the dogs run today and on review of the film agreed with the Stewards concerns. BOSTON SPIRIT has been stood down ( unsatisfactory performance ) per rule 80.1 to complete a satisfactory trial/s.
Race 4	Palamountains Nutrition Sprint - C1 - 375	TULIP MUNCHER dwelt at the start being last away in the early rush. TULIP MUNCHER made ground steadily along the inner to the home turn where she finished n strongly in to 2nd placing at the line.
Race 5	DogZone Sprint - C3 - 375	Racing in to the first bend MR MUMBLES box 7 raced across towards the rail across the face of MULTI CHASER and in on to EZ FERRETI who caught the heels of MR MUMBLES checking back several lengths then angled outwards forcing MULTI CHASER widest racing on to the top bend. Both EZ FERRETI and MULTI CHASER lost a fair amount of ground and were the last runners to the line. IRISH BLUE was referred to the Vet on returning to the wash bay where a dew claw injury was detected.
Race 6	Hautapu Veterinary Services Sprint - C4 - 375	Jumping away from the boxes ATOONGA AIR and WINTERFELL came together. WINTERFELL stumbled in on to LITTLE DREAMS. WINTERFELL lost a couple of lengths at this point. Racing in to the first bend WINTERFELL struck trouble again as STYLISH FANCY moved inwards. WINTERFELL lost momentum and several lengths and was unable to get in to contention there after. THRILLING CARTER box 8 after being slowest away by a few lengths made good ground through the field to finish strongly in the run home in to 3rd placing at the line.
Race 7	Fond Foods Ltd Sprint - C2 - 375	Racing in to the first bend CONTEMPERANEOUS in the lead angled inwards tightening TOXIC REVENGE in on to ZIPPING JACOB. ZIPPING JACOB was able to push his way forward to keep his position. TOXIC REVENGE was checked back ,MELAMN, MYRIONG GIRL and GUMBALANYA were all further tightened and checked also at this point as BIGTIME DASHER and ATOMIC RUSH angled across. MYRIONG GIRL was checked out to the rear. and was unable to get back in to contention there after. ATOMIC RUSH ran widest on to the bend finishing strongly in the run home in to 3rd placing at the line.
Race 8	The Clubhouse Sports Bar Sprint - C1 - 375	Racing from the boxes MR JULES ran inwards across the face of TRINITY FLIGHT in on to CALM NUSKA pushing this runner in across the face of BIGTIME MOOLA bumping OPAWA LOI in on to EVA KANEVA. all these dogs came together bumping and jostling for some distance. EVA KANEVA was tightened and checked back towards the rear. BIGTIME MOOLA on the inner was also tightened making contact with the rail for a stride or so stumbling slightly losing momentum back to last in the running. EVA KANEVA and BIGTIME MOOLA were unable to get back in to contention finishing in the rear at the line. BIGTIME MOOLA was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 9	Cogswell Survey Ltd Sprint - C1 - 375	Soon after the start PEAKNUCKLE ( fav ) and FANCY KIWI bumped. Racing in to the first bend WILD FALCON on getting to the lead angled down to the rail across the face of COLD FOOT LUKE and PEAKNUCLE who was tightened and checked back to the rear.as COOL FOOT LUKE went back he bumped with PROCRASTINATION who ran wide with SPINEL racing widest on to the bend. SPINEL after covering some extra ground finished well in to 3rd placing at the line. PEAKNUCKLE after the earlier interference was unable to get back in to contention finishing towards the rear at the line.
Race 10	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Sprint - C4/5 - 375	Racing to the home turn VERY CHILLY improved through on the inner of CALL BE BLUE,UMAGA RAMA improving around the outer of these runners moved in and they all tightened in together. CALL ME BLUE was jostled for a couple of strides.
Race 11	Te Awamutu Self Storage Stakes - C1 - 457	Racing away from the start FOREVER IRIS raced across the face of CASH MACHINE checking this runner then running in to the shoulder of MONTANA pushing this runner across the face of MISS VOTCHKA checking this runner back Racing to the first bend MONTANA ran out across the line of CASH MACHINE who caught heels stumbling slightly for a stride. As the field raced in to the first bend CASH MACHINE angled in across towards the rail bumping in to MISS VOTCHKA with CASH MACHINE being checked again catching heels as MONTANA angling in pushed RAMAH REASON in across the face of CASH MACHINE.A few strides on as CASH MACHINE went back she caught the hind of MONTANA and was tripped up stumbled losing her footing and fell. CASH MACHINE recovered to her feet and was caught and referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 12	Melbourne Cup at The Clubhouse Stakes - C2/3 - 457	BORIS GUMP was a late scratching at pre race presentation on Vets advice due to swollen metacarpal on the right fore. OUR HEISENBERG was away well in the early running to be vying for the lead in to the first bend. racing on to the top bend OUR HEISENBERG went off stride drifting back through the field to the rear. OUR HEISENBERG was observed to be uncomfortable in his galloping action there after finishing on to the lure a margin back at the line. OUR HEISENBERG was referred to the vet for assessment where he was found to have a strained right triceps muscle.
