| Race 1 | Formpro Ratings Free Every Monday C0 - C0 - 375 | EVE NING HILL shifted in from the start and bumped LEGGERA ROYAL onto FAT BOYZ FLYER and they were unbalanced and lost ground. TANK'S ROB and PHANTOM WAY bumped on the bend and they lost two lengths. FAT BOYZ FLYER shifted out and hampered ALLEGRO DASHER on the bend and ALLEGRO DASHER shifted out a short distance further on and collided with FAT BOYZ FLYER and they were unbalanced losing ground and finished in the rear group. ALLEGRO DASHER was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have pain in both hip supports. The Stewards had some concerns with the racing manners of ALLEGRO DASHER and her form in future races will be monitored closely with regards to her commitment to chase. |
| Race 2 | J P Print, Petone C0 - C0 - 457 | ZIMMER FRAME was the slowest to begin losing two lengths. EVA'S STORM was crowded soon after the start and settled back. MILLY RIVERS checked off the back of MOLLY O'SHEA going into the bend and lost ground. |
| Race 3 | Greyhounds As Pets C0 - C0 - 375 | MANGAMAHU JACK and CAWBOURNE PAWS were slow away from the boxes losing two lengths. PRINCESS NOVAK shifted in abruptly from the start and caused crowding and checks to MAGIC MARIA, DARK GARNAH, CAWBOURNE MARCY and NO MORE MARMITE which all lost ground. A short distance further on, CAWBOURNE PAWS shifted in and caused checks to MAGIC MARIA which fell and CAWBOURNE MARCY which lost all chance. MAGIC MARIA was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have pain in a pectoral muscle and the lumbar area. |
| Race 4 | Affordable Pet Accessories C1 - C1 - 375 | YOUR SAY shifted out soon after the start and checked over the heels of CAWBOURNE JOSH and he continued to shift wide and bumped with CAWBOURNE GIL and settled back where he stayed for the remainder of the race. ANOTHER COVER checked off the heels of MISS ELDORA approaching the home straight and drifted back through the field and finished last. |
| Race 5 | Buck Fever At Stud C1 - C1 - 375 | MR.ZAFONIC, REPEAT VISIT and MARY'S BAD BOY were slow to begin and settled back. MARY'S BAD BOY stayed back throughout the race to finish in last place. MR.ZAFONIC was making up ground on the bend but made contact with WHITE LEGS which in turn was pushed onto REPEAT VISIT and all three were unbalanced and lost ground in the incident. |
| Race 6 | Preston's Master Butchers C1 - C1 - 457 | RIKKI'S REBEL and DR ROBBIE were both slow to begin with RIKKI'S REBEL almost falling and they lost several lengths. GOODTIME MIKE, HAWKESBURY FEVER and GOLFING BUDDY jostled together for some distance going to the first corner and they were unbalanced and lost ground. |
| Race 7 | Personal Protective Services C1 - C1 - 375 | QUESTION BALE settled in the rear group but then drifted off the back of the field and finished several lengths last. He was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have carpus, hip support, pectoral and gracilis muscle pain. |
| Race 8 | Shakey Jakey At Rockey Ridge C1 - C1 - 375 | VINNIE BAXTER and BUNDORAN LAD were slow to begin losing two lengths. VINNIE BAXTER recovered the best of the two and finished well for 2nd place. HOMEBUSH NAKI was tightened between runners going to the bend and he lost four lengths and stayed back. |
| Race 9 | Outback Trading Company C1 - C1 - 375 | GUMMY GUMPSTA and CAWBOURNE SATIN were slow away from the start losing three lengths. GOODTIME LADY and CAWBOURNE SATIN raced wide on the bend and into the straight covering extra ground. GOODTIME LADY kept up a strong run to make up ground for 2nd place. |
| Race 10 | NZ Bred Middle Distance Feature C1 - C1 - 457 | FOX IN BOX, TUFF DIAMOND and THRILLING TOBY jostled together going into the bend and TUFF DIAMOND and THRILLING TOBY were eventually checked losing four lengths and they stayed back to finish at the rear. WORBOYS and RUBBED OUT were also affected in the incident and were forced wide on the bend over extra ground. |
| Race 11 | wheeldeal.co.nz C2 - C2 - 375 | SPOT ON MAGGIE and KNOCKA FEW BACK were hampered and lost ground going into the bend and they stayed back for the remainder of the race. HERE WITHOUT YOU appeared uncomfortable in her galloping action and finished at the rear and was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. |
| Race 12 | Manawatu Harness Racing Club C2 - C2 - 375 | WHITEY'S GONE began very awkwardly losing three lengths but made up ground well to finish in 3rd place. LOLA BAXTER shifted in from the start and crowded CLASSY ZARA, HOMEBUSH DOBBY and CHAIMBO for some distance until they were eventually checked. |
