Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 520	MOLLY O'SHEA was slow to begin and settled back and she then lost further ground when bumping with CAWBOURNE MARCY going into the first bend. CHASE ME APATCHE and MILLY RIVERS bumped together going to the first turn and they were briefly unbalanced losing ground. CHARRINA HILL was hampered going to the final bend when in contact with CAWBOURNE LOCH and she lost a length.
Race 2	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C0 - C0 - 305	MANGAMAHU JACK was the slowest to begin losing two lengths but he made a big looping run around the field and finished in 2nd place. LEGGERA ROYAL and PEDRO'S CARAT were both awkwardly positioned in restricted room going into the bend and were checked losing three lengths. One of the favourites ALLEGRO DASHER was well placed during the running but shifted out to race wide on the bend and into the home straight over extra ground and finished in last place. The 5th placed runner PEDRO'S CARAT clipped a heel and fell soon after the finish line and was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 3	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 520	BOTANY SEL jumped from the boxes on terms with the other runners but quickly began to lose ground and his galloping action did not appear normal. BOTANY SEL continued to lose ground and finished a distance behind the other runners and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have triangle and quadricep muscle pain. YOU'RE SO FREE ran into the back of KAISER MAX going into the final bend and she lost two lengths.
Race 4	J P PRINT PETONE C1 - C1 - 520	Handler K.Woledge was spoken to advisedly after it was observed that she had some difficulty loading BRUISER BALE into the boxes. CAWBOURNE ROMAN shifted out from the start and caued tightening and checks to GOODTIME MIKE, BRUISER BALE and OPAWA CASSIDY which all lost ground and settled back. OPAWA CASSIDY lost ground going into the first corner when checking off the back of GOODTIME MIKE. GOODTIME MIKE shifted out in the home straight and jostled with RUBBED OUT for some distance and they were both unbalanced as a result.
Race 5	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 520	ARCHI BALE and ADDA BOY ZEKE were a little slow to begin from the outside boxes and they bumped together for a short distance going to the first turn and settled well back and stayed there throughout.
Race 6	AON CPF C2 - C2 - 305	KNOCKA FEW BACK and SUPERLINER jostled together for some distance going to the first corner and were unbalanced. Going into the bend, KNOCKA FEW BACK galloped on the back of CODIE BREA causing a severe check to that runner and she lost several lengths and tailed the field home. WHITEY'S GONE was also hampered in the incident and lost ground.
Race 7	MELBOURNE CUP RACING @ HATRICK 3RD NOVEMBER C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	BUSTER BOY was slow to begin and he stayed back throughout the race and finished in last place.
Race 8	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C3 - C3 - 305	FEAR MARINA and HOMEBUSH MISHA were slow away from the boxes losing two lengths. FEAR MARINA recovered well to finish in 3rd place but HOMEBUSH MISHA raced wide over extra ground and finished last. SEMANTICS shifted in from the start and checked EMBEE DEE and CAWBOURNE ROWAN and they lost ground and settled back.
Race 9	KEENAN CONCRETE WANGANUI C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	MEMORY LAPSE began awkwardly and settled back. He then went off stride with a circuit to run and pulled up soon after and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a triangle muscle injury. WHERE'S SHIRAZ shifted in going into the first corner and checked CAWBOURNE GRACIE which lost ground. CAWBOURNE GRACIE was again checked going into the final bend losing further ground but recovered to finish well for 3rd place.
Race 10	DOPEY DOG LASER ENGRAVING C5 - C5 - 305	BIGTIME PULSE and HOMEBUSH ZANE jostled together for some distance going to the first corner and BIGTIME PULSE was eventually checked, went back to the rear and finished last. TONGARIRO, SEDGEBROOK BABE and RED MOOVA HOOVA bumped together briefly soon after the start and settled back. RED MOOVA HOOVA then raced a little wide covering extra ground.
Race 11	FIRST SECURITY C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	RADWANSKA was a little slow to begin and settled at the rear and then went off stride when clear of interferance with a circuit to run and took no further part in the race. RADWANSKA was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a gracilis muscle injury. CHECK THE MAIL galloped on the back of ROLEX ROO going into the first bend and they both lost ground. CHECK THE MAIL then shifted out and bumped KNUCKLE BUMP which also lost ground and PUNCH ON JAIME was also hampered in the incident.
Race 12	THE ROCK 95.2FM C4 - C4 - 305	ALLEGRO BOOM was hampered in the early running when caught behind the leader CAWBOURNE MATTY. She then shifted out going into the bend and jostled with ALL IN BERLIN, became unbalanced losing ground and never recovered.
Race 13	HARRISON HIRE MASTER C1 - C1 - 305	TERRA WAY, HOMEBUSH DODGER and HOMEBUSH DAWN jostled together going to the first turn and they all lost ground and went back to the rear. ROSIE FOSI drifted back through the field on the bend and finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment. The winner SECOND TIME was nominated for a swab but prior to this taking place, the dog vomitted in the swab kennel and after being examined by the Vet, he recommended that SECOND TIME be released without swabbing in the interests of the dogs welfare. ROSIE FOSI was found to have pain in the right hind calf muscle area.
Race 14	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 305	The start was delayed slightly when BIGTIME REDFOO proved difficult to load and the Handler briefly lost his footing. BOHANNON and DOWNGRADE KING brushed together going into the first corner and they both ran wide into the bend over extra ground. BIGTIME REDFOO was referred to the Vet at the trainers request where no abnormalities were found.
