Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305	ANOTHER JET was slow away from the boxes losing two lengths and settled back. SMART DANDY was checked going into the bend and she lost four lengths and tailed the field from there until the finish.
Race 2	KEENAN CONCRETE C0 - C0 - 305	STEFFI'S STAR shifted in from the start and crowded DEANO which lost ground and settled back. STEFFI'S STAR continued to shift in while ALAMEIN HERA shifted out and this resulted in tightening and checks to SHE'S MUSTARD and PACIFIC SUNRISE and they went back to the rear. PACIFIC SUNRISE and SHE'S MUSTARD then jostled together for a short distance going to the first corner and they lost several lengths with SHE'S MUSTARD the most affected and they finished in the last two places.
Race 3	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C0 - C0 - 305	Trainer M.Flipp was spoken to advisedly after it was observed that she had walked towards the front of the boxes after boxing THATZ MARION. CAWBOURNE BRAE was the slowest to begin but made up ground well to win the race. ELLA BAXTER shifted in going into the bend and checked SCOTT NO ODDS and KINETIC ASSASIN which both lost ground. THATZ MARION, LULU'S FLAME and NICKY MCBELL came together and jostled going into the bend and they lost three lengths and finished at the rear.
Race 4	J P PRINT PETONE C0 - C0 - 305	HOMEBUSH INQUIRY began awkwardly and settled back where she remained throughout the race. NO MORE MARMITE shifted out abruptly on the home turn and hampered EVA'S STORM and SCOTT SOME TICKA which were both unbalanced briefly. DALLAS BAXTER and CAWBOURNE PAWS jostled together for a short distance in the home straight.
Race 5	PALAMOUNTAINS NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 520	CAWBOURNE DALLAS began awkwardly and lost his footing briefly and settled back. ABSINTHE MINDED was a little slow to begin and was then awkwardly placed in restricted room between runners and settled near the rear. GLAD'S APOPPING shifted out going to the first corner and hampered HE'S A JESSIE which was unbalanced and went back to a rear position and stayed there for the remainder of the race.
Race 6	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305	ALLEGRO STYLE was slow to begin losing two lengths. SPRITE ON TIME shifted in going into the bend and collided with STAINLESS KNOCKA and fell and ANOTHER PEARL and ALLEGRO TITLE were badly checked in the incident and also fell. STAINLESS KNOCKA was also affected and lost four lengths. ANOTHER PEARL, ALLEGRO TITLE and SPRITE ON TIME were referred to the Vet for assessment and ALLEGRO TITLE was found to have toe pain, SPRITE ON TIME general bruising and muscle soreness and ANOTHER PEARL has a swollen elbow.
Race 7	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C1 - C1 - 520	KIRKHAM HARVEY was slow away from the boxes and settled back. CAWBOURNE SATIN, CAWBOURNE ROMAN and KIRKHAM HARVEY bumped together going into the first corner and were all unbalanced losing four lengths and they stayed back for the remainder of the race to finish in the last three places.
Race 8	AON CPF C1 - C1 - 305	Handler R.Goldsack was spoken to advisedly and reminded of his obligations to listen for the instructions of the Starter before placing his dog in the boxes. It had been observed by the Steward who was present that Mr Goldsack had placed the dog in the box before being cleared to do so. SECOND TIME and TAKEAWAY dwelt when the start was made and lost two lengths. HOMEBUSH DAWN and SO UNBELIEVABLE bumped going into the bend and HOMEBUSH DAWN on the outside, was unbalanced and forced wide and she never recovered and finished in last place.
Race 9	FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 520	The race was all clear.
Race 10	FIVE STAR KENNELS AND RUNS C0 D - C0d - 645	AGENT MICK began awkwardly losing ground and he settled back and stayed there throughout the race. CAWBOURNE PHILLIP shifted in going into the first bend and crowded COME ON MICKEY, WALL AGE and LONESOME NITRO which all lost ground and settled in the rear group.
Race 11	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305	SNOW BALL CHANCE began awkwardly losing two lengths and settled back. CABALLE shifted in abruptly from the start and checked KA PAI which also settled back. HU XIAN shared the lead on the bend but HOMEBUSH NARK on the inside shifted out and HU XIAN lost two lengths. Soon after entering the home straight, HU XIAN moved through inside HOMEBUSH NARK and checked that runner which went back quickly to the rear and finished in last place.
Race 12	VETS ON CARLTON C1 - C1 - 305	CAWBOURNE SHADOW was slow to begin losing three lengths and he stayed back throughout. CAWBOURNE LEGS and NICKSTA were also a little slow away but CAWBOURNE LEGS recovered to make up ground and finished in 3rd place while NICKSTA stayed back and finished last.
Race 13	Non Tote - Tier 2 - 305	GULLY RUNNER shifted out going into the bend and caught the heels of MACGYVER RAMA which was checked and lost ground. GULLY RUNNER then ran onto the back of DO MORE and they both went down behind losing several lengths and all chance and they were classed as falling and referred to the Vet for assessment. DO MORE was found to have grazing to both hocks and GULLY RUNNER was cleared of injury.
Race 14	Non Tote - Tier 2 - 305	BIG BEN and WAIMAK DAVE jostled together for some distance going to the first turn and BIG BEN eventually dropped back onto COSMIC RASCAL which in turn shifted out onto SCOTT THE BEST. SCOTT THE BEST was then forced to race very wide on the bend and into the home straight.
