Into the turn SKETCHY STEVE crossed and severely checked HOMEBUSH RUFUS with the trailing SALLY and GOSSIP QUEEN also held up. |
| Race 2 | SGRC $26 FIVE WIRE MUZZLES - C0 - 457 | From the jump ANOTHER CASINO ran sharply inwards from the No. 7 box severely checking ANOTHER SPIN and MAGIC GINA. In the run to the turn NO TINKERBELL shifted ground outwards and ran in close quarters to NICKY MCBELL. Into the turn the muzzle of NICKY MCBELL became entangled with the rug of NO TINKERBELL with both dogs losing ground. The trailing ANOTHER SPIN was also held up as a result. Stewards checked the muzzle of NICKY MCBELL and found it to be intact and not loose in any way, with no further action required. |

After the race NO BRO was subject to a veterinary check which revealed discomfort on extension of the right stifle with a 5 day stand down recommended. |
