Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	BRILLIANT JAYLA shifted in going into the first corner and this resulted in CHINESE STAR having to steady to avoid heels and she lost two lengths. PLENTY OF TIME eased over the heels of LAGOON MAC going into the bend and shifted out forcing RAPPER DASH and OPAWA DARCEE wide over extra ground and they all lost momentum and finished in the last three places.
Race 2	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	General tightening soon after the start resulted in TAREE ZARR being checked back to the rear. WINFIELD AUTUMN, TAREE ZARR and LITTLE RASCAL were all checked going into the bend when there was movement in from runners wide on the track and they went back to the rear and never recovered the lost ground.
Race 3	THE ROCK 95.2FM C2 FEATURE - C2 - 520	PREMIER PRINCE and MAGIC WHITELOCK were slightly slow away from the boxes and then raced a little wide on the first bend. THRILLING AVA lost contact with the field going into the first bend and raced several lengths behind the other runners but finished well for 5th placing.
Race 4	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	BOX OF FLUFFIES was slow to begin losing three lengths but recovered well to finish in 3rd place. BIG FAT GYPSY, HANIFY ACE and CAWBOURNE TOMCAT jostled together for some distance after the start and they lost ground. CAWBOURNE TOMCAT then went off stride and shifted in making contact with the rail and he finished the race several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment. CAWBOURNE TOMCAT was found to have pain in a sartorious muscle and cramping.
Race 5	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	CHEAP SHOT MATTY, SEDGEBROOK BABE and CRANKY PANTS were slow to begin and soon after they came together and jostled for several strides and lost ground. Simaltaneously, ALLEGRO BLAST and LEGERDEMAIN also jostled together further out on the track and they were also unbalanced and lost ground.
Race 6	KEENAN CONCRETE C3 - C3 - 520	ANOTHER HABIT was handy going to the first corner but was checked losing two lengths. KERRY LANE checked off the back of TO THE BANK going into the first bend and she lost momentum and settled at the rear. OPAWA JACKIE and OPAWA TOM bumped on the final bend and OPAWA JACKIE lost ground and went back to 2nd last place. KERRY GLEN ran into the back of OPAWA JACKIE entering the home straight when they were at the rear and they were both unbalanced and lost ground.
Race 7	PALAMOUNTAINS NUTRITION C2 - C2 - 305	FEAR MARINA and YOUR SAY were slow to begin losing two lengths. FEAR MARINA recovered well to make up ground and win the race. SUPERLINER, BRILLIANT AVA, HANNIBAL LECTER and DEATHSTAR jostled together for some distance going to the first corner and they all lost ground and stayed back for the remainder of the race and finished in the last four places.
Race 8	DOPEY DOG LASER ENGRAVING C4 - C4 - 305	ANGIE ZARR, NERO and ALLEGRO BOOM bumped together when the start was made and they lost ground with NERO and ALLEGRO BOOM the most affected and they settled at the rear. NERO made up ground well to finish 4th but ALLEGRO BOOM raced very wide over extra ground and finished in last place.
Race 9	FIVE STAR KENNELS AND RUNS C3/4 - C3/4 - 520	OPAWA KAREN, MAKING TIME and PREMIER DIVISION were the slowest to begin losing two lengths and they stayed well back throughout the race.
Race 10	FIRST SECURITY C5 - C5 - 520	BOSTON HEART, JOE JOE and LONESOME NITRO dwelt at the start and they settled back. JOE JOE and BOSTON HEART recovered very well and they made up ground to finish in 1st and 2nd places. CAWBOURNE BRICK was checked on the first bend losing four lengths and he stayed back for the remainder of the race and finished in last place.
Race 11	AON CPF C 4/5 - C4/5 - 305	HOMEBUSH ZANE bumped with ONE BROKE GIRL a short distance after the start and ONE BROKE GIRL was briefly unbalanced losing two lengths. VISION AND POWER was slow to begin losing three lengths and he then went off stride going to the first corner and drifted back. FASHION AND FAME went off stride going to the first corner and he also drifted back and they finished several lengths behind the other runners. They were both referred to the Vet for assessment and were cleared of injuries.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C2 - C2 - 305	HERE WITHOUT YOU shifted in from the start and caused a check to HE'S A JESSIE which lost three lengths and he never recovered and stayed back to finish in last place.
