Judicial report: Trainer A Joyce admitted a breach of Rule 68.6 and was fined $50.00 under the Minor Infringement Table when late to kennel GORILLA ON DRUMS for Race 9.

Race 1	Super Pets Dash - C3 - 295	BO'S BUSINESS (8) was declared a late scratching at 5:06pm on veterinary advice when found to be short in its action upon arrival for the pre-race stir up. ZORBA THE GREEK (3) and HOMEBUSH ERROL (4) were the last pair on jumping. WINE TIME (1) was jostled rounding the home bend when between SHOWROOM (5) and HOMEBUSH SLINKY (2) which had improved to the inside and shifted outwards. WINE TIME then shifted outwards contacting the hindquarters of ANOTHER FAN (6), with WINE TIME losing ground.
Race 2	C.T.V. Sprint - C3 - 295	CARNEGIE HALL (2) ran inwards from the boxes pushing WEARS THE GOLD (6) down the track into the line of CAWBOURNE PEEJAY (5) which was crowded, losing ground. CARNEGIE HALL continued to shift ground entering the bend resulting in crowding to WEARS THE GOLD, GRAND APACHE (4) and KNOW CONTEST (2) which had to check when awkwardly placed near the running rail. KNOW CONTEST was referred to the Veterinarian following the event and cleared of injury.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Dash - C3 - 295	KNOW SALUTE (8) was slow to begin. HARDEN FASTER (2) ran inwards abruptly from the boxes hampering VITO BAXTER (1) which lost its footing and stumbled, losing ground. KINLOCH ACTION (6) was crowded for a distance in the early stages when between HOMEBUSH BRUNO (5) and BUTTERBEAN (7) which shifted ground inwards. KNOW SALUTE ran inwards entering the home straight placing BUTTERBEAN and KINLOCH ACTION in restricted room.
Race 4	Fast Archer At Stud Stakes - C3 - 520	OPULENT (3) was crowded in the initial stages between AMBILIGHT (2) and KNOW LAPSE (4), both of which shifted ground. KNOW LAPSE and KNOW NEGLECT (5) collided rounding the first bend, with KNOW LAPSE being unbalanced for several strides. DIRK THE JERK (1) lost ground rounding the first bend when contacted from behind by OPULENT which had improved onto that runners heels. DIRK THE JERK was referred to the Veterinarian following the event and found to have a tear to its right-hind hip support. KNOW LAPSE was referred to the Veterinarian following the event and cleared of injury.
Race 5	David Emerson Consultancy Sprint - C3 - 295	GLENN IS GOODESY (1) went up with the lids as the start was effected, losing ground. JIMMY HAMMER (2) lost its footing shortly after the start, with this runner being further hampered when ILABB (3) ran inwards. HOMEBUSH FLYTE (8) ran inwards in the early stages forcing WOOLY WHATSIT (9) into the line of KNOW PRIDE (6), SLEEPER AGENT (5), LOOK AT LUCY (4), ILABB and JIMMY HAMMER who were all hampered, with LOOK AT LUCY and KNOW PRIDE losing ground.
Race 6	Carol's T.A.B. Sprint - C4/5 - 295	ZIPPING JYE (3) was last to leave the boxes. SMASH RUMOUR (5) and TOKEN ACE (6) were crowded approaching the bend when between HOMEBUSH ARIEL (2) and HETFIELD (8), both of which shifted ground. PUMA PANTS (1) had to check momentarily entering the bend when awkwardly near the heels of PAPERBOND (7) which ran inwards to obtain a position closer to the running line. Upon straightening, PUMA PANTS ran outwards sharply across the heels of PAPERBOND to obtain clear running.
Race 7	Happy Birthday Alysha Waretini Stakes - C3/4 - 520	JESSIE SURFS (7) was declared a late scratching at 3.45pm when found to have wrist pain. ARTIC ACTION (3) and GOLDSTAR JUNIOR (4) were checked shortly after the start between JEWEL EAGLE (2) and FROST YOURSELF (5), both of which shifted ground. KIRKHAM JACK (8) ran inwards in the early stages forcing BORIS (9) into the line of FROST YOURSELF, JEWEL EAGLE and ARTIC ACTION who were all hampered. JEWEL EAGLE and FROST YOURSELF were further hampered entering the first bend when racing to the inside of GOLDSTAR JUNIOR which ran inwards. Inconvenienced to a minor extent was ARTIC ACTION which collided with FROST YOURSELF.
Race 8	Sozin's Comet At Stud Dash - C4 - 295	DREAM LARGE (6) was slow to begin. COSTING MONEY (5) ran inwards sharply from the boxes inconveniencing MICKEY TEE (2) which checked outwards off the runners heels resulting in REPLAY (3) and AIR EXPRESS (4) being hampered. MICKEY TEE and AIR EXPRESS came together and bumped approaching the bend. DREAM LARGE had to check briefly rounding the home bend when awkwardly near the heels of AIR EXPRESS which ran outwards. REPLAY ran outwards entering the home straight colliding with AIR EXPRESS.
Race 9	Mac Developments Dash - C4/5 - 295	WHEELCHAIR NORM (1) and PLAGIARISM (9) were slow to begin. PLAGIARISM and WHEELCHAIR NORM came together and bumped approaching the bend. LITTLE REGUS (4) ran wide entering the bend hampering GET READY FREDDY (5). PLAGIARISM had to check outwards entering the home straight when becoming awkwardly placed near the heels of GORILLA ON DRUMS (6). WHEELCHAIR NORM was referred to the Veterinarian following the event and found to have reopened a crack above its sesamoids.
Race 10	Christchurch Casino Stakes - C4/5 - 520	KNOW DANGER (4) lost its footing leaving the boxes, losing several lengths. HOMEBUSH KELSO (2) and DYNA VIKKERS (1) raced in restricted room approaching the first bend when racing to the inside of BOTANY KEVIN (3) which was inclined to shift inwards. HOMEBUSH KELSO was crowded shortly after, losing ground. KNOW DANGER was hampered rounding the home bend when improving up onto the heels of the weakening HOMEBUSH CHOPPER (8). CAN'T CATCH TIM (6) contacted the hindquarters of BOTANY KEVIN rounding the home bend, resulting in BOTANY KEVIN becoming unbalanced briefly.
Race 11	Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C4/5 - 295	ECKLES (2) ran outwards from the boxes hampering FIREMANS GALAXY (3) which lost ground. OPAWA ROCKET (4) and ZEBIDIAH (7) were slow to begin. OPAWA ROCKET and ZEBIDIAH collided on several occasions in the early stages, with FIREMANS GALAXY being hampered approaching the bend when awkwardly placed near the heels of OPAWA ROCKET.
Race 12	Protexin Sprint - C4 - 295	HOMEBUSH ROCKY (9) and JAMAICAN ARCHIE (7) were last to leave the boxes. ONLY GOT TIME (1) ran outwards approaching the bend hampering SPIDER GIRL (2) which had to check when awkwardly placed near that runner's heels. MARY MARLOW (8) was inclined to run inwards entering the bend jostling with TERRA MONDO (5) for several strides. TERRA MONDO was crowded and checked shortly after contacting the heel of MARY MARLOW which was severely unbalanced, losing ground. Inconvenienced were the trailing HOMEBUSH ROCKY and HUMAN INSTINCT (6) who had to shift ground to avoid heels.
