Judicial report: Trainer C.Healey was reminded by Stewards after Race 2 of his obligations in accordance with Rule 72 in regard to listening to the instructions of the Starter.

Race 1	Otago First4 Maiden Sprint - C0 - 310	HOMEBUSH MESSI jumped but stumbled and lost ground. In the run to the turn LIGHT THAW ran outwards checking LICK IT UP and tightening the trailing CHERIES BOY. Into the turn LIGHT THAW checked outwards off the heels of LICK IT UP and ran wide.
Race 2	www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C1 - 310	GOING PRONTO and APOLLO KING were slow to jump. From the jump CHERRY CRUSHER shifted ground inwards checking SASHA MCBELL on her inner. Shortly after the jump DEFINER ran inwards from the No. 8 box tightening CAWBOURNE PIRATE and then checking TECHNIC. In the run to the turn TECHNIC and DEFINER bumped as did GOING PRONTO and CAWBOURNE PIRATE with all dogs losing momentum. On the turn GOING PRONTO ran outwards checking CAWBOURNE PIRATE.
Race 3	Robbies Bar and Bistro Maiden Stakes - C0 - 545	ANOTHER VESPA and OPAWA PEACHES were slow to jump. From the jump MIDNIGHT ACTION shifted ground inwards from the No. 3 box checking OPAWA MINSTREL on her inner. At the end of the back straight OCTAGONS GHOST checked off the heels of ANOTHER VESPA and in turn checked the trailing OPAWA MINSTREL. In the straight RED HOT ACTION shifted ground outwards forcing OCTAGONS GHOST wide.
Race 4	Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Stakes - C1 - 545	NINA BAXTER was declared a late scratching when taken to the boxes after appearing to show signs of lameness in the left front leg. A veterinary check showed the dog to have a sore left shoulder with a five day stand down recommended. In the race PUKEKO BOLT was slow to jump. From the jump WHAT I LIKE ran outwards from the No. 7 box checking HOMEBUSH HANSOME on his outer. Into the first turn HOMEBUSH NAKI ran inwards and stumbled briefly when making firm contact with HERITAGE WATCH. On the bend HERITAGE WATCH and WHAT I LIKE bumped losing momentum.
Race 5	St Kilda Veterinary Centre Sprint - C1 - 310	In the run to the turn THUNDER DRAGON pushed outwards checking DEFINITE. Into the turn PUKEKO THUNDER was tightened between GIGANAIRE and ANOTHER CHARM. Shortly afterwards PUKEKO THUNDER clipped the rear of ANOTHER CHARM with both these dogs losing all chances.
Race 6	Green Island Barber Sprint - C3 - 310	WOOLY WHATSIT was slow to jump. from the jump SAN SEBASTIAN ran outwards pushing HUMAN INSTINCT wide and checking the trailing VITO BAXTER. Shortly before the bend VITO BAXTER ran sharply inwards when free of interference and struck the running rail losing all chance. On the turn CAWBOURNE PEEJAY shifted ground outwards pushing SAN SEBASTISAN wide. A post race veterinary examination of VITO BAXTER revealed no injury.
Race 7	Racing Series Graduation heats - NZRSq - 545 Heat 1	On the first turn KNOW VALE ran outwards across the heels of OPAWA VAL and OM NOM NOM forcing GOLDSTAR PRO outwards. As a result OPAWA STRETCH was severely checked and fell losing all chance. In the back straight KNOW DECISION shifted ground outwards checking OM NOM NOM. After the race OPAWA STRETCH was subject to a veterinary check which revealed a sore right hip with a five day stand down recommended.
Race 8	Racing Series Graduation heats - NZRSq - 545 Heat 2	From the jump HOMEBUSH BUCK shifted inwards from the No. 5 box checking BRISEUR DE REVES on his inner. Into the first turn KNOW ANSER ran inwards checking HOMEBUSH BUCK and BRISEUR DE REVES. In the back straight HOMEBUSH BUCK shifted ground outwards tightening KNOW ANSWER. In the straight BRISEUR DE REVES ran wide.
Race 9	Racing Series Graduation heats - NZRSq - 545 Heat 3	There was a 4 minute delay to the start of this race with the lure required to be replaced after a fault was detected prior to the stir-up. From the jump BOTANY BLAKE ran inwards from the No. 8 box tightening KNOW HERO on his inner and checking KNOW CHEERS who lost ground. Into the back straight BOTANY BLAKE checked off the heels of AMBILIGHT.
Race 10	Speedprint Shop Stakes - C4/5 - 545	From the jump CAN'T CATCH TIM shifted ground outwards checking BOTANY KEVIN. In the run to the first turn JEWEL EAGLE ran outwards checking HOMEBUSH HOWARD and tightening the trailing GOLDSTAR JUNIOR.
Race 11	Norwood Farm Machinery Sprint - C4 - 310	From the jump GOLDSTAR CUMLEE ran inwards from the No. 7 box tightening HOMEBUSH ARIEL on his inside and checking the trailing OPAWA ROCKET. Shortly afterwards GOLDSTAR CHUMLEE continued to run inwards and BACKCHAT HARRY pushed outwards from the No. 3 box with OPAWA OPAL and HOMEBUSH ARIEL both checked. In the run to the turn AIR EXPRESS pushed inwards checking JINJA LOCH. Into the turn HOMEBUSH ERROL ran inwards checking BACKCHAT HARRY who was forced outwards and collided with OPAWA ROCKET. The trailing JINJA LOCH then struck BACKCHAT HARRY who stumbled and fell with both dogs severely checked and HOMEBUSH ARIEL forced wide on the track. After the race BACKCHAT HARRY was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury.
Race 12	Dave Robbie Photographer Sprint - C5 - 310	TEE TIME was showing the incorrect last start weight in some publications and this was corrected with the TAB and commentator. In the race TOKEN ACE was slow to jump. In the run to the turn TEE TIME was tightened between WHEELCHAIR NORM and TOKEN ACE who then dictated TEE TIME inwards with that dog striking the running rail, falling and losing all chance. After the race TEE TIME was subject to a veterinary check which revealed cuts to the leg with a seven day stand down recommended.
Race 13	Racing Again Sunday 18th October - C2 - 310	Shortly after the start ADJUDICATOR ran inwards from the No. 7 box checking EL GRAND SHADOW. In the run to the turn MUST DESIRE shifted ground downwards forcing ADJUDICATOR into the path of BOTANY ZENVO with the trailing MOON AND SEA checked and HARDEN FASTER tightened. Into the turn BOTANY ZENVO and EL GRAND SHADOW bumped with both dogs losing momentum. On the turn BOTANY ZENVO was forced to check out off the heels of MOON AND SEA and EL GRAND SHADOW.
Race 21	Non Tote - Tier 2 - 310	Shortly after the jump LIGNITE GIRL was tightened when OPAWA EXPRESS shifted outwards from the No. 3 box. Into the straight LIGNITE GIRL ran outwards dictating SHEZ KEEN wide who in turn checked CASTLE EDEN.
