Judicial report: Handler L Herbert was fined $50--00 minor infringement rule 71.4 after failing to be at the catching area for race 5 as arranged by Trainer S Clark
LURE ME IN race 2 has been stood down for 28 days and to the completion of a satisfactory trial/s after a breach of rule (79.1b )failing to pursue )this is her first offence
Trainer R O'Regan was spoken to regarding the circumstances surrounding the Late scratching of YOU BETCHA NODDY after arrival to the track
The dog slipped her collar on the grass area behind the car parking area and after running around she was caught and found to be favouring her off hind
The handling gear for the O'Regan kennels was found to be in good condition no further action was taken

Race 1	Carol's TABS Sprint - C3 - 318	Racing down to the first bend KRACK IT angled out catching the heels of CALL ME BLUE, a few strides on KRACK IT and OPAWA VENUS came together, KRACK IT went back catching the heels of OPAWA VENUS, just ahead CALL ME BLUE went back on to HALLO STAR as WHISPER MAGIC raced to the lead angling down to the rail Racing to the home turn ROCKETSHIP MAC on the inner when full of running attempted to gain clear racing room ran in to the hind of OPAWA VENUS who was pushed in to VERY CHILLY, OPAWA VENUS stumbled out across the heels of VERY CHILLY and was unable to get going again finishing in the rear at the line
Race 2	McGhie Plumbing Sprint - C0 - 318	Racing to the first bend LURE ME IN box 1 was in the lead slightly angling out on to the shoulder of LUCKY COLLECT jostling this runner for several strides racing in to the bend LUCKY COLLECT angled in to the shoulder of LURE ME IN who eased for a couple of strides back on to CORUBA RAGE and catching the hind of NEW LOOK ,LURE ME IN in checking off heels went back on to PLAITING PUSS severely checking this runner out on to EM HOLLAND these runners ran wide in to the bend as they recovered there balance LURE ME IN was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found Trainer M Lozellewas shown a replay of the run of LURE ME IN in to the first bend where the Stewards observed LURE ME IN to ease for a couple of strides going back through the field towards the rear LURE ME IN was charged with (failing to pursue ) with due commitment M Lozelle admitted to a breach of rule 79.1b LURE ME IN 1st offence has been stood down for 28 days and to the completion of a satisfactory Trial/s
Race 3	MTA Gift Vouchers Sprint - C4 - 318	SUBIC BAY ( fav ) 1st NZ start dwelt slightly at the start Racing in to the first bend CYCLONE LUSI and SPEED LORDE angled inwards checking MR MUMBLES back ,SPEED LORDE ran in to the shoulder of OUR JACK ATTACK pushing this runner in on to SUBIC BAY with this runner making contact with the rail, SUBIC BAY was strong enough to push himself out of a very tight spot in to the lead and was never headed there after CYCLONE LUSI racing on the outer of SPEED LORDE also angled in at this point causing herself to be checked losing ground outwards stumbling for a stride finishing in the rear at the line SUBIC BAY and CYCLONE LUSI were referred to the vet for assessment CYCLONE LUSI was found to have pain in the left wrist area SUBIC BAY was cleared of injury
Race 4	Deli's Sports Bar Clendon Inn Sprint Series Final - C0f - 318	Racing away from the start YOU BETCHA GUFF ran outwards on to MISS BUNNYTHORPE Racing in to the first bend JETSUN DESIRE racing up handy angled outwards becoming awkwardly balanced GO ANDWYN made contact with the hind of JETSUN DESIRE who went down on her hocks for a stride or so going back to the rear racing wide there after finishing in the rear at the line JETSUN DESIRE was referred to the vet for assessment where he was found to have a spike wound to the right hind
Race 5	DogZone Stakes - C1 - 527	In the run past the post on the first occasion ABSINTHE MINDED was racing in tight quarters midfield and was checked and fell as HERSCHKE bumped MISS VOTCHKA out in to ABSINTHE MINDED racing towards the home turn MRS PUNTING improving on the outer of MISS VOTCHKA in to 2nd in the running was checked from behind as MONTANA ran on to her heels MRS PUNTING lost her hind footing for a stride or so and momentum finishing in 4th placing at the line and could be considered to be unlucky not to have finished closer ABSINTHE MINDED recovered to his feet to finish on to the lure and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found
Race 6	$10k Guaranteed Triple Trio Sprint - C2 - 318	Racing in to the first bend GULLY FLAHERTY angled in on to KIMETTO ( fav ) and JACK MAGIC tightening these runners for a couple of strides, soon after BRITNEY STAR raced past angling in sharply causing GULLY FLAHERTY to check sharply going in across the face of KEMETTO who fell JACK MAGIC on their inner being tripped and going off stride out on to MAKING YOU PAW who stumbled badly going down on his nose and stomach recovered his footing to finish on to the lure JACK MAGIC, KIMETTO and MAKING YOU PAW were all referred to the vet for assessment MAKING YOU PAW was found to have left deltoid muscle soreness KIMETTO was found to be clear of injury
Race 7	Greyhounds As Pets Stakes - C2/3 - 527	Racing in to the bend on the first occasion ANGVELLA and ROCK LASS bumped and jostled for several strides both dogs were checked soon after as OUR HEISENBERG arced to the front angling inwards across the face of these runners, ARTIC ROUGE in behind was checked as ROCKIN' FANCY was ran out to avoid trouble resulting in BORIS GUMP running on to the hind of ARTIC ROUGE both dogs were badly hampered racing out wide as they raced around the bend in to the back straight ARTIC ROUGE dropped off the back of the field along the back straight finishing and did not complete the race he was referred to the vet for assessment where he was found to have a gracilis muscle injury Racing along the back straight OPAWA PEARL stumbled for a stride when clear of other runners becoming unbalanced losing ground finishing to be 6 or so lengths behind the 6th dog at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found
Race 8	Sel's TAB Mangere Sprint Series Final - C1f - 318	NIPPO missed the jump by several lengths he improved around the field covering a fair amount of extra ground to finish in to 5th placing at the line Racing to the first bend FORTIS FIONA box 8 arced across on to LADY ROSE forcing this runner in on to MYRNIONG GIRL and on to QUEEN STAR this runner went in on to NANGAR STAR ( fav )bumping this runner for several strides, NANGAR STAR was able to use his speed to get clear of trouble soon after to race away to a good lead FORTIS FIONA after attempting to angled in became unbalanced for several strides going back off the hind of LADY ROSE and QUEEN STAR, FORTIS FIONA went back towards the rear and was unable to improve there after
Race 9	$10k Guaranteed Quaddie Stakes - C1 - 527	Racing in to the bend on the first occasion LOCETTE IN EDDIE and JETSUN LORD JON were bumping and jostling ,racing around the bend COOKIE MONSTER angled in across the face of JETSUN LORD JON causing this runner to check out sharply across heels running out in to the shoulder of LOCKETTE IN EDDIE, JETSUN LORD JON went sideways for a couple of strides dropping back to the rear and was never in contention there after finishing a margin in the rear at the line JETSUN LORDE JON was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found
Race 10	Lochinvar Marlow Sprint - C5 - 318	Racing to the first bend there was severe tightening between ATOONGA AIR,LOOKS ALL GOOD, WHY OH WHY,EPOTENTIAL LILY and TONGARIRO for several strides ,as the field raced in to the bend ATOONGA AIR angled in across the face of WHY OH WHY, EXPOTENTIAL LILY and TONGARIRO resulting in LOOKS ALL GOOD making contact with the side of WHY OH WHY pushing this runner in to EXPOTENTIAL LILY WHY OH WHY fell resulting in EXPOTENTIAL LILY galloping over the top of the fallen runner out on to LOOKS ALL GOOD and VON TRAPP checking these runners to the outside of the track where they lost all chance there after finishing in a strung out field WHY OH WHY recovered her footing to finish on to the lure and was referred to the vet for assessment where she was found to have pain over the right fibular EXPOTENTIAL LILY was referred to the vet for assessment after being injured at the lure where a cut to the right fore was found
Race 11	Plasterboard Ltd Stakes - C4/5 - 527	Racing in to the bend on the first occasion there was tightening in the midfield as JESSE PINKMAN came out on to METHOD MAN pushing this runner out on to MISS VELOCETTE both dogs bumped and ran wide as METHOD MAN became unbalanced going back a length crossing out over the heels of MISS VELOCETTE METHOD MAN lost ground racing wide in to the back straight and was unable to get in to contention there after finishing in the rear at the line
Race 12	Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C1 - 318	YOU BETCHA NODDY was a late scratching at kennelling after the dog had slipped her collar whilst being walked and was lame on being caught and returned to the trailer YOU BETCHA NODDY was vetted and found to have a right hip support /quadriceps muscle pain Racing in to the first bend NO PARKING box 8 attempted to angle across caught the hind of SCREAMING SKULL, NO PARKING got on the heels of SCREAMING SKULL,NO PARKING went back on to STAINLESS KNOCKA these two runners ran wide as they recovered their balance ,STAINLESS KNOCKA ran wide there after covering a fair amount of extra ground coming home in last placing at the line
Race 13	Non Tote Sprint - Tier 2 - 318	In the run to the first bend DENALI and PEAJAY PRINGLES jostled for several strides Racing in to the bend PROCRASTINATION angled in on to DENALI forcing him over on to PEAJAY PRINGLES , DENALI went sideways in to PEAJAY PRINGLES both these runners were severely hampered losing ground PEAJAY PRINGLES appeared uncomfortable in her galloping action there after and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found
