Track: Good The track was presented in very good order and the meeting proceeded smoothly and concluded on time.

Judicial report: BOSTON LIGHTNING which had been stood down with pectoral muscle pain after racing at Palmerston North on 21.09.15, was re-presented under Rule 81.5 , was cleared of injury and the stand down was rescinded.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	BOX OF FLUFFIES shifted in from the start and crowded PIXIE DUST and SHEWEM BABY for a short distance. ALL ABOUT JAZZ and BRILLIANT ASHLEE jostled together for some distance going to the first corner and they were unbalanced and went back to the rear. BOX OF FLUFFIES shifted in going into the bend and tightened SHOWEM BABY and CAWBOURNE GEORGE which both lost ground. CAWBOURNE GEORGE recovered well from the incident and made up ground to finish in 2nd place. ARMED FORCED raced in a forward position but drifted in the home straight and appeared uncomfortable in his action and was referred to the Vet for assessment. He was found to have carpus pain.
Race 2	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	EMBEE DEE began awkwardly but recovered quickly to race in a prominebnt position and won the race. CAWBOURNE TEASH shifted in from the start and tightened NO TIME YET and REGINA HAKA which both settled back. WORKING JEWEL and CAWBOURNE TEASH bumped going into the bend and NO TIME YET was also affected in the incident and was forced wide into the bend over extra ground.
Race 3	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	HOMEBUSH SARAH and HOMEBUSH MISHA dwelt at the start and lost ground. RUA RAMA shifted in going to the first corner and crowded ANOTHER MISS which was held up briefly but recovered to finish in 2nd place. RUA RAMA checked over the back of BRILLIANT JAYLA going into the bend and shifted out forcing CHINESE STAR, ALDONZA and HOMEBUSH MISHA to race wide.
Race 4	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C4 - C4 - 520	All clear
Race 5	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C5 - C5 - 305	SEDGEBROOK MAGIC was slow to begin losing three lengths. LEGERDEMAIN, ALLEGRO CHASER and ALLEGRO TOUCH jostled together for a short distance soon after the start and were briefly unbalanced. LEGERDEMAIN then shifted in and crowded SEDGEBROOK MAGIC which was checked losing two lengths and SEDGEBROOK MAGIC then shifted out to race wide on the bend over extra ground.
Race 6	Racing Series Graduation Ht 1 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 1	KNOW DECISION was a little slow to begin and was then checked between OPAWA MICHELLE and KNOW ANSWER and settled at the rear. KNOW DECISION then improved his position throughout the running and went on to win the race. KNOW ANSWER shifted in going into the back straight and checked OPAWA MICHELLE which lost three lengths and she stayed back for the remainder of the race.
Race 7	Racing Series Graduation Ht 2 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 2	OPAWA GRUNTER was the slowest to begin and he settled at the rear and stayed there throughout the race.
Race 8	Racing Series Graduation HT 3 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 3	The start was delayed by 3 minutes at the request of TAB Control. OPAWA KURU was the slowest to begin and settled at the rear. KNOW VALUE was tightened going to the first corner when racing adjacent to the rail and she was shuffled back to near the rear. OPAWA KURU and KNOW VALUE were then checked going into the first corner and shifted out to race wide into the bend losing three lengths. They never recovered the lost ground with OPAWA KURU finishing 5th and KNOW VALUE staying back to finish in last place.
Race 9	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C4 - C4 - 305	SEDGEBROOK BABE and WILD EFFECTIVE raced in the leading group of three from the start and they jostled and bumped together for some distance until SEDGEBROOK BABE was able to gain an advantage and she went on to win the race with WILD EFFECTIVE in 2nd place. WHEELIE CHILLIE wanted to shift out going to the first corner and he made contact with SEMANTICS and they both lost ground and stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 10	FIRST SECURITY C5 - C5 - 520	LONESOME NITRO and OPAWA DIESEL were the slowest to begin losing two lengths. OPAWA DIESEL made up ground very well and went on to win the race. LONESOME NITRO, VICTORY BELLE and GRADER JACK bumped together going into the first bend and lost ground and stayed back for the remainder of the race. FABIO and ANGIE ZARR bumped together entering the home straight and they were briefly unbalanced losing momentum for a short distance.
Race 11	AON CPF C3 - C3 - 305	The start was delayed by two minutes at the request of TAB Control. RAPPER DASH, HOMEBUSH CHURRO and PINK SHELLAC jostled together going to the first corner and they lost momentum and settled back. RAPPER DASH raced wide on the bend and into the home straight and finished in last place.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C3 - C3 - 305	BOSS APPEAL was a little slow to begin and then checked over the heels of CAWBOURNE MIDGET and settled two lengths last but then made up some ground and finished in 5th place.
