Track: Good The track was presented in good order but was rain affected and softer than usual and as a result there were no trials prior to the meeting apart from a Qualifying Trial. The meeting proceeded smoothly with the Track Staff doing a very good job of keeping the surface in good racing condition throughout.

Judicial report: ZIMMER FRAME which had been stood down at Palmerston North on 21.09.15 for 10 days with a sore shoulder was again presented to the Vet under the provisions of Rule 81.5 and the stand down was rescinded under the provisions of Rule 81.6. S.Gommans the Trainer of CAWBOURNE ARROW was fined $ 100-00 under the provisions of Rule 69.11 when the bitch was presented 1.9 kilograms up in weight from her last start on 26.08.15.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305	GULLY SCREAMER and REPEAT VISIT were the slowest to begin and they settled back. REPEAT VISIT shifted out slightly going into the bend and hampered GULLY SCREAMER and PRINCESS NOVAK and they lost two lengths and stayed back for the remainder of the race to finish in the last two places.
Race 2	KEENAN CONCRETE C0 - C0 - 305	ALLEGRO DASHER was up in weight by 2.0 kilograms from her last start on 05.08.15 and this was an intentional increase. JOEY BAXTER and BANSHEE BOY bumped and were unbalanced going into the bend and lost ground. A short distance further on, ANOTHER CASINO and GULLY YAPPA also bumped and were unbalanced briefly losing momentum. ANOTHER CASINO bumped with JOEY BAXTER on the home turn and JOEY BAXTER shifted out abruptly to collide with GULLY YAPPA and they were both unbalanced losing ground and they finished in the last two places.
Race 3	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C0 - C0 - 305	SCOTT SOME TICKA checked off the heels of TEPIRITA AVEDON going into the bend and lost a length. A short distance further on, MISS TAKAMORI shifted out and turned her head and bumped with SECOND TIME which was forced wide on the bend over extra ground. MISS TAKAMORI was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a spike wound and slight hip support pain but was stood down for 3 months under Rule 79.1 b for a 2nd offence of failing to pursue the lure. The Bitch is also required to complete a satisfactory trial under Rule 80.1 before next racing.
Race 4	J P PRINT (PETONE) Ht1 C0 - C0q - 520 Heat 1	CAWBOURNE DALLAS shifted in from the start and dictated the line of DALLAS BAXTER which also shifted in and bumped BEN NEVIS KNIGHT and that runner was checked and settled back. BIGTIME OCKA and ANOTHER RUSS bumped entering the back straight and dropped back slightly hampering AGENT MICK briefly.
Race 5	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI Ht2 CO - C0q - 520 Heat 2	CANDY CRUSHER was slow to begin losing two lengths and he settled back. EVA'S STORM shifted out soon after the start and bumped with CAWBOURNE LOCH which lost ground and he stayed back for the remainder of the race. CHERIES BOY was bumped going into the first bend but recovered quickly without losing ground.
Race 6	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305	ALLEGRO ALL GO began very awkwardly losing five lengths. HOMEBUSH BUTTON shifted in going into the bend and crossed the line of ALLEGRO ALL GO and they both lost two lengths and they stayed back at the rear for the remainder of the race.
Race 7	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C1 - C1 - 305	OPPORTUNIST and SO UNBELIEVABLE jostled together going to the first corner and they eventually checked back to the rear where they stayed until the finish.
Race 8	AON CPF C1 - C1 - 520	ABSINTHE MINDED was checked soon after the start and shifted in went over the top of CLEARLY MAGIC which fell and ABSINTHE MINDED lost several lengths and all chance. CLEARLY MAGIC was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have back and metacarpal pain
Race 9	FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 520	SHERIFF ROSCOE and PEAKY BLINDER were slow to begin and settled back. SHERIFF ROSCOE then shifted out and collided with PEAKY BLINDER and they lost further ground and stayed back throughout the race to finish at the rear.
Race 10	FIVE STAR KENNELS AND RUNS C1 - C1 - 520	SUE SEWS SOCKS shifted out from the start and MAGIC WHITELOCK shifted in and this resulted in tightening to runners drawn between with INDEFINITE ORDER and SARAH CAMPBELL the most affected and they went back to near the rear. MAGIC WHITELOCK was also affected but recovered to make up ground and won the race.
Race 11	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 305	The start was delayed by two minutes while a minor problem with the track surface in the home straight was remedied. CAWBOURNE MARK and TAKEAWAY dwelt and lost ground from the start. BLAZE'S CORPORAL shifted out going into the bend and checked DAVEY BOY SCOTT which went back to the rear and never recovered. DON'T MUZZLE ME was also hampered and forced wide in the incident.
Race 12	VETS ON CARLTON C1 - C1 - 305	HOMEBUSH STEW and FIVE KAY LEG were slow to begin losing two lengths. HOMEBUSH STEW made up ground and finished in 2nd place. AZURE DREAMS was handy going to the first turn but then appeared unable to hold her position and drifted to finish in last place.
Race 13	Non Tote - Tier 2 - 305	CAWBOURNE ARROW was up in weight by 1.9 kilograms from her last start on 26.08.15. ( Refer to the Judicial Section ) ANOTHER RULE was up in weight by 1.8 kilograms from his last start on 27.05.15 and this was an intentional increase. BLACK MAGIC ROCK shifted in abruptly from the start and lost five lengths but made up ground to finish in 4th place. SMIRNOFF was checked on the bend and she went back to last and finished in that position.
Race 14	Non Tote - Tier 2 - 305	CAWBOURBNE SHADOW shifted in going to the first corner and crowded ELBRUS and ANOTHER QUEEN which were both checked and lost two lengths. ANOTHER QUEEN shifted in after the winning post and made firm contact with the rail and she was referred to the Vet for assessment
Race 15	Non Tote - Tier 2 - 305	GOLD STONE shifted out from the start and crowded CAWBOURNE LEGS and SUNDAY DRIVER which both settled back but made up ground to finish in 3rd and 5th places.
