Judicial report: J T McInerney was fined $100-00 ( rule 69.11 ) after BOTANY LIZ was 2kgs down in weight from her last start on the 24-8-2015

Race 1 ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2 - C2 - 305 BRILLIANT AVA ( fav ) missed the jump by several lengths BRILLIANT AVA soon improved towards the leaders on the inner racing in to the first she was checked and tightened losing momentum as ALL ABOUT JAZZ and HOMEBUSH SARAH moved in towards the rail BRILLANT AVA went back towards the rear finishing in 6th placing at the line In the run to the first bend SHOWEM BABY ran out as CAWBOURNE MIDGET ran inwards resulting in ALL ABOUT JAZZ being sandwiched between them they bumped and jostled for some strides
Race 2 ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C2 - C2 - 305 HOMEBUSH MISHA was only fairly away from box 1 Racing away from the start PIXIE DUST ran in on to BRILLIANT JAYLA forcing this runner in across the face of MISS MOWHAWK who lost a couple of lengths, BRILLIANT JAYLA then ran in checking HOMEBUSH BOUNCE and RUA RAMA Racing in to the first bend HOMEBUSH MISHA after a slow start recovered to race up to a handy position on the inner of BRILLIANT JAYLA and was hampered for several strides as this runner tightened inwards racing on to the top bend RUA RAMA made quick ground around the field to get to the lead angling down towards the rail checking BRILLIANT STYLE back, HOMEBUSH MISHA was also tightened losing a length, soon after nearing the home turn PIXIE DUST making ground in to the body of the field caught heels going back a length or so, as PIXIE DUST raced in to the home straight she angled inwards bumping MISS MOWHAWK this runners checked losing momentum and finishing in last placing at the line
Race 3 THE ROCK 95.2FM C3 FEATURE - C3 - 520 Racing in to the bend on the first occasion PUNCH ON JAMIE, CAWBOURNE PHILIP and MAKING TIME angled across towards the rail resulting in HOMEBUSH SPOOK and TO THE BANK being tightened and checked, as HOMEBUSH SPOOK went back a length or so he bumped with ARCANE RAMPANGE who went back to a clear last in the running racing in to the back straight ARCANE RAMPAGE appeared to dip for a stride and was unable to improve there after finishing in last placing at the line After reviewing the film it was unclear whether ARCANE RAMPAGE had brushed the rail at this point causing him to dip slightly ARCANE RAMPAGE was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found The connections were spoken to regarding the run of ARCANE RAMPAGE, their comments to the Stewards were they are disappointed with the run tonight The Stewards will be expecting an improved performance at the dogs next start
Race 4 LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C2 - C2 - 305 HOMEBUSH DAWN began awkwardly from box 7 bumping in to CODIE BREA as they came off the mat Racing in to the first bend GULLY FLAHERTY moved in on to the shoulder of WORKING JEWEL when vying for the lead, they bumped several more times both dogs becoming unbalanced as they raced on to the top bend, GULLY FLAHERTY lost ground back to midfield with CODIE BREA catching his heels nearing the home turn both runners losing ground finishing in the rear at the line WORKING JEWEL after striking trouble earlier was forced to make ground wide out finishing strongly down the outer in the run home in to 2nd placing at the line
Race 5 KEENAN CONCRETE C1/2 - C1/2 - 520 Racing from the boxes PEACOCK PRINCESS and WALL AGE bumped, UNO SHAY caught the heels of PEACOCK PRINCESS at this point unbalancing her for a stride or so Racing in to the bend on the first occasion UNO SHAY angled in pushing PEACOCK PRINCESS in on to the shoulder of DOUBLE ENTENDRE, just ahead of of them BIT COIN racing to the lead angled in on to the shoulder of BOTANY LIZ with BUSTER BOY in behind being checked then bumping with DOUBLE ENTENDRE as they were pushed back racing on to the first bend ALLGAIER ( fav ) racing around the outer attempted to angle in pushing PEACOCK PRINCESS in on to DOUBLE ENTENDRE and BUSTER BOY, DOUBLE ENTENDRE ran on to the hind of UNO SHAY then going back several lengths ALLGAIER was forced to race wide for the first half of the race covering a bit of extra ground, he steadily improved in to 3rd in the running across the top bend filling that placing at the line
Race 6 WANGANUI CHRONICLE C1/2 - C1/2 - 520 Soon after the start THAT'S KING bumped RIKKI'S REBEL across in to LOCHINVAR MAUI who caught the hind of RIKKI'S REBEL Racing in to the bend on the first occasion RIKKI'S REBEL became awkwardly placed when avoiding heels angling inwards in to the hind of HEART YOU, RIKKI'S REBEL became unbalanced going back to a clear last in the running and was unable to improve there finishing several lengths in the rear at the line RIKKI'S REBEL was referred to the vet for assessment where she was found to have suffered a gracilis muscle injury
Race 7 AON CPF C3 - C3 - 305 From the jump WILD EFFECTIVE ran across sharply checking SPIRIT RUN and BIGTIME REIGN ,these two runners were further hampered as BIG FAT GYPSY box ran outwards on to them Racing in to the first bend STELLAR FORCE an in to the hindquarters of WHATU TRENDY as she attempted to angle across, STELLAR FORCE went back off the back of WHATU TRENDY and was bumped outwards as SPIRIT RUN came out STELLAR FORCE ran wide on to the bend losing ground back to a clear last in the running finishing several lengths in the rear at the line STELLAR FORCE was referred to the vet at the request of the Trainer
Race 8 DOPEY DOG LASER ENGRAVING C4 - C4 - 520 From the jump ALLEGRO MAX ran straight to the centre of the track, KNUCKLE BUMP box 1 jumped away well racing handy in the run to the first bend KNUCKLE BUMP soon after ran outwards sharply between runner running in to and checking PREMIER DIVISION and CHECK THE MAIL severely hampering these dogs Racing around the top bend on the first occasion CHECK THE MAIL improved past KNUCKLE BUMP angling inwards causing KNUCKLE BUMP to check out sharply over his heels checking PREMIER DIVISION and ALLEGRO MAX ALLEGRO MAX became uncomfortable in his galloping action soon after finishing in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment
Race 9 PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C5 - C5 - 305 ALLEGRO CHASER began awkwardly from box 6, from the jump SEDGEBROOK MAGIC ran in catching the heels of ALLEGRO CHASER and checking losing a length or so he then bumped with CALL ME RALPH racing in to the first bend WHY OH WHY had trouble clearing LEDGERDEMAIN at the same time as ALLEGRO CLASS raced to the lead angling inwards causing WHY OH WHY to check back off heels going back a couple of lengths on to ALLEGRO CHASER with SEDGEBROOK MAGIC having to check outwards sharply to avoid a collision going wide on to the top bend losing ground but ran on well for 3rd placing a fair way back from the winner
Race 10 FIRST SECURITY C5 - C5 - 520 RITZA DANNY began awkwardly from box 7 ran in bumping with ANGIE STARR for some strides. Racing in to the bend on the first occasion there was a rush for the lead resulting in tightening to several runners CAWBOURNE MATTY, CHASING THE LINE, CAWBOURNE BRICK and SMASH ALLEGRO, LONESOME NITRO in behind on the inner was hampered also at this point, SPRINGVALE HARRY raced past on the outer of CHASING THE LINE moving in tightening runners further resulting in CAWBOURNE MATTY and ANGIE ZARR being checked back CHASING THE LINE was checked racing in to the back straight as SPRINGVALE HARRY improved past on his outer then angled inwards CHASING THE LINE lost ground going out wide he made ground steadily there after in to 4th placing at the line CAWBOURNE MATTY went under the rail at the pull up and was referred to the vet as a precaution where no abnormalities were found
Race 11 VETS ON CARLTON C3/4 - C3/4 - 305 SEDGEBROOK BABE and HOMEBUSH CHURRO dwelt at the start racing in to the first bend EXPONENTIAL LILY back past midfield angled in behind runners ran on to the heels of UP HIGH momentarily, UP HIGH was forced to angle out off the heels of JINGA COLL taking CRANKY PANTS widest across the top bend. CHEAP SHOT MATTY had got away to a clear lead crossing the top bend running wide in to the home straight allowing SEDGEBROOK BABE to get a good run through the field to make up a massive amount of ground after being slow away to be beaten narrowly at the line
Race 12 BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C3/4 - C3/4 - 305 HOMEBUSH OLIVE began awkwardly from box 8 losing a few lengths and was unable to get in to contention there after finishing in last placing at the line
