Judicial report: Trainer S.Keen was fined $50 under the Minor Infringement Table for a breach of Rule 71.2 when failing to retrieve SHEZ KEEN by the appointed time for Race 3.

Race 1	24 YEARS AT ASCOT TODAY - C0 - 390	From the jump DEFINITE was tightened from the No. 4 box between SKETCHY STEVE and ANOTHER CHARM. Shortly after the jump BRINDEE'S BRO ran inwards checking DEFINITE and also bumping LIN BAXTER. Into the turn SKETCHY STEVE, ANOTHER CHARM and ANOTHER RUSS all came together losing momentum. On the turn JOEY BAXTER ran wide checking BRINDEE'S BRO. Into the home straight BRINDEE'S BRO ran wide.
Race 2	"MADONNA HOBBS" - C1 - 390	ANOTHER KEY and JOYNER KERSEY were slow to jump. Into the turn JACKPOT JAKE shifted ground inwards checking GLORY HOG and tightening the trailing STENSON. Shortly afterwards JACKPOT JAKE fell when struck from behind by GLORY HOG and took no competitive part in the race. In this incident JOYNER KERSEY was also checked and lost ground. In the straight PUKEKO THUNDER ran wide on the track. After the race JACKPOT JAKE was subject to a veterinary check which revealed muscle strain and lameness to the right hind leg with a 28 day stand down recommended.
Race 3	"MISTY ANNA" - C1 - 390	BIG JOHN CANON was slow to jump. At the jump SHEZ KEEN shifted ground inwards tightening NO MORE BEERSIES.
Race 4	"TIDAL MAGIC" - C0 - 457	From the jump DALLAS BAXTER shifted inwards checking NO TINKERBELL. In the run to the turn CANDID ANGEL crossed checking ANOTHER VESPA. Into the turn DINERO ACTION pushed outwards and became unbalanced when striking CANDID ANGEL who was checked and lost ground. The trailing DALLAS BAXTER was also inconvenienced. On the turn EBONY FANCY ran wide and NO TINKERBELL ran wide on the track in the straight.
Race 5	"JOHNNY CASTLE" - C2 - 457	PUKEKO BOLT bounded at the jump losing several lengths at the start. DIRK THE JERK shifted outwards over the early stages crowding PUKEKO PROWLER onto ALL ABOUT ECHO. MISS VALLEY INN and DIRK THE JERK raced wide on the bend.
Race 6	"SINGING BING" - C2 - 390	The trainer of ANOTHER JEWEL Mr J.McInerney advised that this greyhound would now be retired from racing. Racing to the bend HUMAN INSTINCT shifted inwards crowding JIMMY HAMMER, RAINCHECK and ANOTHER JAMIE on its inside. As a result ANOTHER JAMIE and JIMMY HAMMER both become unbalanced. RAINCHECK shifted outwards off the heels of HUMAN INSTINCT shortly afterwards forcing CAWBOURNE ROWAN wider on the track. HUMAN INSTINCT was checked on the bend when racing between RAINCHECK and JIMMY HAMMER. In the home straight ANOTHER JAMIE checked off the heels of VITO BAXTER and lost its momentum.
Race 7	"RING MASTER" - C1 - 457	At the jump TATUM BAXTER shifted inwards from the No. 4 box checking DEBORAH BAY on his inner. In the run to the turn THRILLING HUNT shifted inwards tightening COUNTRY CROSSING. Into the turn COUNTRY CROSSING ran downwards checking TATUM BAXTER.
Race 8	"MY JORDIE" - C3 - 390	GLENN IS GOODESY was slow to begin. Into the turn OPAWA BART was checked between HOMEBUSH ERROL and NO BRO. On the turn HOMEBUSH ERROL lost momentum as AIR EXPRESS shifted ground inwards.
Race 9	"HUMBUG BLAKE" - C3/4 - 457	JESSIE SURFS jumped awkwardly from the No. 1 box and lost momentum. from the jump BORIS ran sharply inwards from the No. 7 box checking THRILLING MARTY and tightening OPAWA STRETCH. In the run to the turn BOUND TO ERUPT ran inwards while GET READY FEDDY pushed outwards with THRILLING MARTY tightened between these runners. Into the turn GET READY shifted down and checked JESSIE SURFS and then clipped the heels of JESSIE SURFS who lost ground.
Race 10	"SON OF MAGIC" - C3/4 - 390	ZORBA THE GREEK was slow to jump. Into the turn THUNDER STORM ran inwards checking HOMEBUSH ARIEL. On the turn HOMEBUSH ARIEL and ZORBA THE GREEK ran wide, whilst THUNDER STORM shifted ground downwards checking SANDI CLAWS.
Race 11	"THURSDAY NIGHT" - C3 - 457	At the start KIRKHAM JACK shifted inwards from the No. 3 box checking WILLIS on his inner. Shortly afterwards KIRKHAM JACK and SOUTHERN LIGHTS bumped losing momentum. Into the turn CAWBOURNE WAR shifted downwards checking EXPECT DELAY. On the turn WILLIS checked outwards off the heels of EXPECT DELAY with the trailing KIRKHAM JACK also held up and forced to check out wide.
Race 12	justracing.com.au - C5 - 390	The trainer of ROBBIE Mr R.Adcock advised that this greyhound had now been retired from racing. From the jump WHEELCHAIR NORM ran inwards from the No.7 box tightening PUMA PANTS while ROADWORKS ran outwards checking ANOTHER LIZ. In the run to the turn WHEELCHAIR NORM continued to run inwards dictating PUMA PANTS down and then checking BLACK CROW. On the turn ROADWORKS checked off the heels of MICKEY TEE.
