Track: Good The track was presented in very good order and the meeting proceeded smoothly although showers later in the programme made conditions unpleasant for the Handlers.

Judicial report: ALLEGRO MASTER completed a satisfactory box trial which was required under Rule 72.13. Trainer J.T.McInerney was fined $100-00 under the provisions of Rule 69.11 when THUMB PRINT TONY was presented 2.3 kilograms down in weight from his last start on 28.08.2015.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2 - C2 - 305	FEAR MARINA shifted in from the start and bumped HOMEBUSH MISHA onto FIVE KAY LEG and all three were hampered and lost momentum for a short distance. FEAR MARINA galloped on the heels of NUI MAGIC on the bend and NUI MAGIC lost several lengths and went back onto HOMEBUSH BOUNCE and they stayed back to finish in the rear group.
Race 2	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS FINAL C1 - C1f - 520	THRILLING AVA was checked going into the first corner and lost several lengths and all chance and she stayed back for the remainder of the race to finish in 7th place.
Race 3	THE ROCK 95.2FM C2 - C2 - 520	EXTREME TWIST and BRUISER BALE were the slowest to begin and settled back. EXTREME TWIST then made up ground well to go on and win the race. BUSTER BOY shared the lead on the first bend but was checked going into the back straight and drifted to finish the race several lengths last. BUSTER BOY was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have suffered a spike wound to the left hind foot.
Race 4	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	ONE BROKE GIRL began awkwardly and settled back. SEMANTICS shifted in going into the bend and caused checks to itself and also SENORITA TINA and HANIFY ACE and they lost two lengths. NGAURUHOE checked off the heels of BLUE AND CURLY on the home turn and shifted out abruptly and collided with ONE BROKE GIRL and they both lost ground with NGAURUHOE the most affected and he lost several lengths and finished in last place.
Race 5	KEENAN CONCRETE C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	SEDGEBROOK MAGIC was tightened between LEGERDEMAIN and UP HIGH when the start was made and he lost a length and settled back. LEGERDEMAIN shifted in going into the bend and crowded UP HIGH and BIG BOY DENO which resulted in all three losing ground and they stayed back to finish in the last three places.
Race 6	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C3 - C3 - 520	HOMEBUSH SPOOK, BEDLAM BRIDGE and BOSTON LIGHTNING came together and jostled briefly soon after the start and they settled back. BOSTON LIGHTNING shifted in going into the back straight and checked THUMB PRINT TONY which lost three lengths and he went back to last and stayed there to finish in that position.
Race 7	AON CPF C3 - C3 - 305	PINK SHELLAC shifted out going into the bend and forced MAKING TIME and SHOWEM BABY wide over extra ground. FLYING BLAKE was also inconvenienced and lost ground in the incident and they finished in the last three places.
Race 8	DOPEY DOG LASER ENGRAVING C4 - C4 - 305	NERO and SPEEDY BEAT were the slowest to begin and they lost three lengths. They then bumped going into the bend and a short distance further on, SPEEDY BEAT checked over the heels of NERO and lost ground and she stayed back to finish in last place. SPEEDY BEAT was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Handlers request and found to have quadricep muscle pain. CHEAP SHOT MATTY jumped from box 8 and was forced to race wide covering extra ground and finished in 7th place.
Race 9	Lochinvar Marlow Waterloo Cup heats (Group 1) - C5 - 520	OPAWA DIESEL was very slow to begin losing five lengths. LONESOME NITRO was awkwardly positioned in restricted room on the final bend and was checked when FABIO shifted out on the home turn. OPAWA DIESEL was also checked and lost ground in the incident. LONESOME NITRO was also held up for some distance in the home straight and finished in last place.
Race 10	FIRST SECURITY C4 - C4 - 520	NITRO MARY was the slowest to begin and lost two lengths. She then bumped with BIG RED CHEV and ROYAL RUNNER going into the first bend and all three were inconvenienced and briefly unbalanced. BIG RED CHEV recovered the best of the three and he made up ground well to finish in 3rd place.
Race 11	VETS ON CARLTON C3 - C3 - 305	BIGTIME REIGN galloped on the back of CODIE BREA going into the bend and CODIE BREA went down behind. CAWBOURNE KIWI then ran into CODIE BREA and was also severely checked and all three affected runners lost several lengths and all chance. CODIE BREA was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 12	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C3 - C3 - 305	PLENTY OF TIME was very slow to begin losing four lengths but he made up ground well to finish in 4th place. APPLAUSE checked off the heels of EMPTY BANK on the bend and lost two lengths. HOMEBUSH CHAOS was in a handy position going into the bend but then drifted through the field and finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment. HOMEBUSH CHAOS was cleared of injury and the Stewards will be looking for an improved performance at the bitches next start.
