| Race 1 | ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2 - C2 - 305 | HOMEBUSH MISHA, BRILLIANT ASHLEE and WAIMAK DAVE were slow to begin losing two lengths and they settled back. HOMEBUSH MISHA bumped with HOMEBUSH SARAH going into the bend and HOMEBUSH SARAH lost momentum and dropped back onto WAIMAK DAVE which was unbalanced, went back to the rear and stayed there to finish in last place. |
| Race 2 | ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C2 FEATURE - C2 - 520 | BOSTON LIGHTNING shifted in going into the first bend and caused crowding which resulted in checks to BOTANY SEL and MEMORY LAPSE and they lost five lengths and went back to the rear where they stayed for the remainder of the race. HE'S A JESSIE checked off the heels of RIKKI'S REBEL going into the back straight and went back onto DOUBLE ENTENDRE and they both lost four lengths. |
| Race 3 | THE ROCK 95.2FM C2 - C2 - 305 | HOMEBUSH DAWN was up in weight by 2.4 kilograms which was intentional and the bitch had not started for 5 weeks. SNOW DEMON wanted to shift out going to the first turn and jostled with RAPPER DASH for some distance until RAPPER DASH eventually lost her position and went back to the rear. HOMEBUSH DAWN shifted in going into the bend and checked CAWBOURNE TEASH which lost two lengths but she recovered to finish in 4th place. |
| Race 4 | LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C2 - C2 - 305 | ANOTHER PLANE and BRILLIANT JAYLA were the slowest away from the boxes losing a length but they recovered to make up ground and finished in 3rd and 4th places. ANOTHER COVER was crowded from the outside a short distance after the start and he was shuffled back to the rear and stayed back throughout the remainder of the race. |
| Race 5 | KEENAN CONCRETE C3/4 - C3/4 - 520 | Three of the better supported runners, CHECK THE MAIL, OPAWA KAREN and ROYAL RUNNER were checked entering the back straight and went back to the rear where they stayed for the remainder of the race. |
| Race 6 | WANGANUI CHRONICLE C3 - C3 - 305 | POPSTAR ROCKET and ALLEGRO BLAST jostled together when the start was made ans lost ground. BIG FAT GYPSY and WINFIELD AUTUMN bumped together for some distance going to the first corner and WINFIELD AUTUMN was eventually checked losing a length. HOMEBUSH CHAOS was awkwardly positioned between ALLEGRO BLAST and CHOCDEE ALICE going into the bend and was checked losing three lengths and stayed back to finish in last place. POPSTAR ROCKET was brought down at the lure and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a leg injury. |
| Race 7 | AON CPF C2 - C3 - 305 | CAPTAIN'S CHOICE was awkwardly positioned between NO TIME YET and SHEIK EM UP going into the bend and was checked losing two lengths. CAPTAIN'S CHOICE then shifted out to race wide on the bend and into the home straight covering extra ground and he finished in last place. |
| Race 8 | VETS ON CARLTON C2/3 - C2/3 - 520 | ARCANE RAMPAGE shifted in fro mthe start and bumped TRIDENT which was unbalanced and settled back. AIR RAID shifted in from the start and crowded ROLEX ROO which was inconvenienced and she went back to the rear. However ROLEX ROO then made a sweeping run around the outside and went on to win with ease. TRIDENT and HOMEBUSH SPOOK bumped going into the first corner and ran a little wide on that bend and they stayed back to finish at the rear. |
| Race 9 | INDULGE SKIN SPA WANGANUI C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 | LONESOME NITRO and VICTORY BELLE were the slowest to begin and they settled back. LONESOME NITRO shifted in going into the first corner and checked CAWBOURNE BRICK which lost three lengths and he never recovered from the incident. WINSOME JENNY checked over the heels of NITRO MARY going into the first bend and shifted out abruptly forcing MARLISA and VICTORY BELLE wide on the bend over extra ground. |
| Race 10 | FIRST SECURITY C5 - C5 - 305 | NGAURUHOE and GRAND ALLEGRO jostled together for some distance going to the first corner and NGAURUHOE was checked losing ground. ALLEGRO TOUCH then shifted in and tightened GRAND ALLEGRO which made contact with the rail and they were both unbalanced. ALLEGRO TOUCH then made contact with LOVING THE MIX and NGAURUHOE, which was following was also checked and lost ground. Soon after the incident and while still jostling together with ALLEGRO TOUCH, GRAND ALLEGRO faltered and pulled up soon after, taking no further part in the race and was referred to the Vet for assessment. GRAND ALLEGRO was found to have a suspected shoulder blade injury. |
| Race 11 | FIVE STAR KENNELS AND RUNS C4 - C4 - 305 | WHEELIE GOOD began awkwardly losing two lengths. Approaching the straight entrance, WHEELIE GOOD and TONGARIRO jostled together and WHEELIE GOOD shifted out and made contact with PLENTY OF TIME and lost several lengths and finished in last place. PLENTY OF TIME also lost ground but recovered to finish in 4th place. |
| Race 12 | PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C4 - C4 - 305 | HANIFY ACE began awkwardly and lost two lengths. As a result of movement in from runners drawn wide, there was some general tightening going into the bend and HANIFY ACE was forced into the rail and lost four lengths. WHAT'S UP GEE and MANU RAMA were also affected in the crowding and both lost ground. HANIFY ACE was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. |
