Into the first bend HAT TRICK CHAOS (4) was contacted from behind and lost momentum. Rounding the bend MR NOVEMBER shifted outwards and made firm contact with BIZARRO which was unbalanced as a result. |
| Race 2 | Happy Birthday Garry Cleeve Stakes - C1 - 520 | IDOL LEANNE (7) and KNOW ENERGY (4) were slow to begin. Passing the winning post on the first occasion OPAWA SHILOH (5), was checked and lost all chance, when KNOW SMIGGLE (1) shifted off the running line and IDOL LEANNE shifted inwards. INFERNAL MAJESTY (6) was hampered in consequence. |

PEYTON SAWYER (7) shifted inwards shortly after the start and made contact with SAM'S FLYIN NORM. SAM'S FLYIN NORM then shifted inwards and made firm contact with HOMEBUSH RILEY (3) resulting in BLAZING HOT being hampered. LACHIE JEWEL (2) gave ground into the first bend when contacted by SAM'S FLYIN NORM and was referred to the club veterinarian for assessment where it was found that the dog had aggravated a hip support injury. Rounding the bend HOMEBUSH RILEY and SAM'S FLYIN NORM made firm contact and jostled for some distance when well back in the running. |
| Race 4 | Super Pets Sprint Heat 3 - C1q - 295 Heat 3 | CHARLIE NEXT BOY (4) shifted inwards on jumping and made contact with FANCY ACTION (3). CAWBOURNE TRICK (5), CANDYBOY (6) and TULIP MUNCHER (7) were all hampered shortly after the start when HAYLEY JAMES (8) shifted inwards and CHARLIE NEXT BOY shifted outwards. CHARLIE NEXT BOY was badly unbalanced as a result with CAWBOURNE TRICK losing ground. Shortly thereafter CANDYBOY was buffeted and unbalanced when in tight racing quarters. Into the first turn OUR JOHN (2) and TULIP MUNCHER jostled for a short distance. |

Passing the winning post on the first occasion OPAWA GUMISIE (1) shifted off the running line and hampered OPAWA AMY, dictating that runner into the running line of OPAWA TOMMO (3) and KNOW SCHOLAR (7) both of which were forced over extra ground. KIRKHAM HARVEY checked off the heels of OPAWA AMY rounding the first bend and ran wider for a short distance. |

HARKONEN BALE (4) began awkwardly and was further hampered when contacted by MALCY (9) shortly after jumping. HARKONEN BALE then made firm contact with the hindquarters of GOLDSTAR CHYNA (3). HARKONEN BALE continued on an inward movement and made contact with HOORAY FOR HAZEL (1). HARKONEN BALE and HOORAY FOR HAZEL jostled for some distance thereafter. On entering the home straight HOMEBUSH ZIPPY (8) was unbalanced when contacted from behind by ZIPPORA BLAZE (7). In to the straight GOLDSTAR CHYNA checked outwards across the heels of ZIPPORA BLAZE . |

BENJAMIN BLACK got back as a result. Into the first turn UNO BRENT (6) was unbalanced when contacted from the inside by OPAWA VAL (5). Rounding the first turn BENJAMIN BLACK and NINA BAXTER (1) made firm contact. |
| Race 8 | Super Pets Sprint Heat 5 - C1q - 295 Heat 5 | KAYLA ROSE (6) shifted inwards after jumping and hampered OHOKA TOO SOON (5). DEFINER (4) and GOLDSTAR ROSIE (1) came together and jostled for a short distance before the bend. Into the turn GOLDSTAR ROSIE was tightened and lost momentum when tight to the inside of DEFINER which shifted inwards. DEFINER was unbalanced in this incident. UNO JAMES (8) ran wide rounding the bend. |
| Race 9 | Super Pets Sprint Heat 6 - C1q - 295 Heat 6 | TECHNIC (1), OPAL JEWEL (3) and HOMEBUSH CORAL (9) were all slow in the initial stages. KNOW FAULT (7) was hampered at the start. Rounding the bend CRYSTALL MCBELL (8) was unbalanced when contacted from the inside by CAPTAIN SHAZZ (6). CRYSTALL MCBELL was then further unbalanced when tight to the outside of KNOW FAULT which was shifted wider by TECHNIC. KNOW FAULT and CRYSTALL MCBELL jostled for a distance on entering the home straight. Trainer J Tanner was questioned in regards to the improved performance of the winner SHOWROOM (2). She stated that the dog had been luckless in recent runs from bad draws and today had relished the downgrade to Class 1 and the inside draw afforded to him. |

KNOW WORTH (4) and BLUSHING BELLE (6) jostled for a short distance after the start. BOSTON MONA (1) and OPAWA KURU (2) jostled for some distance after the start. Passing the winning post on the first occasion BOSTON MONA was checked when OPAWA KURU shifted inwards. OPAWA KURU then shifted outwards across the heels of PINDARI. JINJA JAFFA (8) and OPAWA KURU jostled for a distance late in the race. |
