| Race 1 | Formpro Ratings Free Every Monday C1 - C1 - 375 | BANJO'S RETREAT weighed in 1.7 kilograms up in weight from his last start on 02.07.15 and this was an intentional increase. BANJO'S RETREAT shifted out from the start and HOMEBUSH DOBBY shifted in and this resulted in jostling between those two runners and PREMIER PRINCE, BIG BEN and KNOCKA FEW BACK and they all lost ground. KNOCKA FEW BACK recovered the best of the five affected runners and he finished in 3rd place. |
| Race 2 | Paul Claridge Electrical C0 - C0 - 457 | SEMI AUTOMATIC shifted in and bumped SAMMY MCBELL going to the first corner and SAMMY MCBELL was unbalanced for a short distance and brushed against the rail and settled back where he stayed for the remainder of the race. SEMI AUTOMATIC shifted out going into the bend and checked AGENT MICK which lost three lengths. |
| Race 3 | Warehouse Stationery C1 - C1 - 457 | MAGIC WHITELOCK began awkwardly losing a length. THRILLING TOBY and ACAPELLA were both slightly hampered when the start was made and settled back. ACAPELLA continued to lose ground as the race progressed and she finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a gracilus muscle injury. |
| Race 4 | Manawatu Harness Racing Club C2 - C2 - 457 | REGAZZA GINA started from box 8 and she raced wide throughout, particularly on the bend and covered extra ground and finished in last place. |
| Race 5 | Personal Protective Services Ltd C3 - C3 - 457 | ARCANE RAMPAGE and OPAWA TOM bumped together when the start was effected and OPAWA TOM was checked losing two lengths and he never recovered the lost ground. ROLEX ROO shifted out going into the bend and caused checks to WHERE'S SHIRAZ and PEACOCK PRINCESS and they went back to the rear and stayed there until the finish. |
| Race 6 | Grant Irvine Pharmacy C0 - C0 - 375 | REPEAT VISIT began very awkwardly losing several lengths. RAGLAN ROCKSTAR shifted out after leading to the first corner and marred the running of PISTOLS PRINCESS and they both lost several lengths and tailed the field from there to the finish. RAGLAN ROCKSTAR was stood down for 28 days under Rule 79.1 a and is required to trial under the provisions of Rule 80.1 before next racing. |
| Race 7 | Affordable Pet Accessories C2 - C2 - 375 | MCJOPSON and VINNIE BAXTER were the slowest to begin losing two lengths. VINNIE BAXTER recovered to make up ground for 2nd placing but MCJOPSON stayed back throughout and finished in last place. |
| Race 8 | J P Print, Petone C3 - C3 - 375 | ALLEGRO BLAST shifted in abruptly from the start and caused crowding and checks to several runners with CAPTAIN'S CHOICE, CHOCDEE ALICE, WEE DIGER and CAWBOURNE STEVE the most affected and they settled at the rear. CAPTAIN'S CHOICE and WEE DIGER then raced very wide on the bend and into the home straight covering considerable extra ground and they finished at the rear. |
| Race 9 | Outback Trading Company Ltd C5 - C5 - 375 | FASHION AND FAME lost his footing behind in his initial stride out of the boxes and he lost four lengths and never recovered the lost ground. WHEELIE RASCAL drew box 2 and was adjacent to the rail going into the bend and a half length back from the leader. WHEELIE RASCAL was then crowded as outside runners shifted in and she was not able to hold her position and went back to the rear and never recovered the lost ground. WHEELIE RASCAL was given the benefit of some doubt on this occasion but her future efforts will be closely scrutinized by the Stewards. |
| Race 10 | Brooks Timing C4 - C4 - 375 | OPAWA DARCEE and TAREE ZARR were the slowest to begin losing a length and they settled back. BYE BYE MYSTERY, OPAWA DARCEE and TAREE ZARR jostled together for as short distance going into the bend and they lost ground. OPAWA DARCEE drifted off the back of the field from there and finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have tricep and hip support muscle pain. |
| Race 11 | Shakey Jakey at Rocky Ridge C4/5 - C4/5 - 457 | TAKAMORI and COSMIC SCRAMBLE bumped going into the bend and were briefly unbalanced. A short distance further on, TAKAMORI and ANGVELLA bumped together and they were also briefly unbalanced and lost momentum. |
| Race 12 | NZRS Advanced Final - NZRSf - 457 | OPAWA DIESEL, ECKLES and PREMIER DIVISION were slow to begin losing two lengths. SPUD MISSILE led into the bend but wanted to race away from the rail and this resulted in jostling and checks to SPUD MISSILE, ECKLES, CAESAR CHANCE and SMASH ALLEGRO and they were all unbalanced losing ground. |
