Track: Dead Following heavy overnight and morning rain the track required remedial work prior to the commencement of racing. Following this the track was presented in good racing order.

Judicial report: LENNY MAC was examined by the veterinarian under Rule 81.5 following the 21 day stand down imposed (Rule 68.26) at Auckland GRC on 27 August 2015 and was cleared of injury with this stand down rescinded.

Race 1	MTA Gift Vouchers Sprint - C2 - 318	ROCKETSHIP MAC (6) was slow away. LE ROI (3) was inconvenienced losing ground soon after the start when runners either side shifted ground. Racing down the back straight FORTIS FIONA (5), NEED TO CHILL (4) and WILD FALCON (2) came together and jostled for a distance with these runners all becoming unbalanced losing ground.
Race 2	Newcomer of the Year Hayley Mullane Stakes - C1/2 - 318	UMAGA RAMA (1) and CALM NUSKA (2) came together leaving the boxes. FRANKINCENSE (3) shifted out soon after the start making contact with ARIZONA SKY (4) with these runners then continuing to shift out inconveniencing WINSOME GEORGE (5), UNO HEIDI (6), ENGLISH HONEY (7) and TOXIC REVENGE (8) who all came together becoming unbalanced losing ground. FRANKINCENSE and ARIZONA SKY continued to jostle for the remainder of the back straight with both runners becoming unbalanced entering the first turn with FRANINCENSE then shifting wide and ARIZONA SKY losing ground. Racing toward the first turn UNO HEIDI shifted in inconveniencing WINSOME GEORGE and CALM NUSKA. Entering the first turn ENGLISH HONEY made contact with the hindquarters of UNO HEIDI with these runners coming together on several occasions rounding the bend. Rounding the final bend CALM NUSKA had to steady and shift out off the heels of ARIZONA SKY. ARIZONA SKY underwent a post race veterinary examination which revealed pain in the left wrist with a 10 day stand down imposed.
Race 3	Pretty Chic Stakes - C1 - 527	ELEPHANT TRUNK (3) was slow away. THRILLING EVIE (1) and SKYLER WHITE (2) began awkwardly losing ground. OPAWA LOI (7) shifted in inconveniencing PROCRASTINATION (6) leaving the boxes. Racing into the first turn COLD TURKEY (8) angled in tightening OPAWA PEARL (5) in onto JETSUN LORD JON (4). Entering the first bend THRILLING EVIE shifted out inconveniencing SKYLER WHITE then making contact with ELEPHANT TRUNK with these runners then shifting very wide rounding the first turn. Rounding the first bend OPAWA PEARL came together with PROCRASTINATION and OPAWA LOI on several occasions with OPAWA PEARL then getting on the heels of PROCRASTINATION who was taken out onto OPAWA LOI entering the back straight with these runners all losing ground as a result.
Race 4	Plasterboard Ltd Stakes - C3 - 527	JETSUN QUAKER (4) was slow away. COOL MARLOW (5) angled in entering the first turn tightening BIGTIME DASHER (1) and LET'S GO LETTIE (3) who shifted out off this runners heels with LET'S GO LETTIE making contact with INDI RHODE (8) who lost ground. BLOO BLOOMERS (2) and MONTANA (6) came together rounding the first turn with JETSUN QUAKER, who was trailing, inconvenienced. MONTANA then shifted out slightly making contact with INDI RHODE who was checked losing ground. INDI RHODE underwent a post race veterinary examination which revealed a laceration to the left hind with a 21 day stand down imposed.
Race 5	Strike Rate Trainer Karen Walsh Sprint - C1 - 318	BOTANY HOLLY (7) was last to leave the boxes and was then inconvenienced for a distance when BELCROFT BANKER (8) angled in. VINTAGE OSTI (4) and BRITNEY STAR (9) came together and jostled for a distance racing down the back straight with BRITNEY STAR losing ground. WHISPER MAGIC (6) angled in entering the first turn inconveniencing SONIC ATTACK (3) and SCREAMING SKULL (5), who lost considerable ground, then making contact with BRITNEY STAR. BELCROFT BANKER shifted out slightly making contact with BRITNEY STAR rounding the bend.
Race 6	Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C3 - 318	POPCORN SUTTON (1) and JETSUN STORM (2) were last to leave the boxes. JETSUN STORM, DRURY (5) and IT'S THE DREAM (9) came together entering the first turn with DRURY and IT'S THE DREAM losing ground with IT'S THE DREAM then getting on the heels of FANCY MY LUCK (7) who also lost ground. DRURY and FANCY MY LUCK came together rounding the final bend. CAWBOURNE KIWI raced very wide rounding the final bend and throughout the final straight.
Race 7	Trainer of the Year Denis Schofield Stakes - C1/2 - 527	EVEN SEVEN (3), WALTER MITTY (7) and WHAT THAT DOES (8) were slow away. ROCK LASS (4) angled in soon after the start checking BOSS WAVE (2) then making contact with JESSIE PINKMAN (1). Racing toward the first turn FORTIS FLIER (6) shifted in taking ILLICIT TWIST (5) in onto EVEN SEVEN and BOSS WAVE who were inconvenienced. Rounding the first turn BOSS WAVE shifted out off the heels of FORTIS FLIER briefly inconveniencing EVEN SEVEN and WHAT THAT DOES. Racing into the bend leaving the back straight EVEN SEVEN was crowded losing ground.
Race 8	Bright Star Greyhound of Year Sprint - C5 - 318	ATOONGA AIR (1) and TEE KAY YAPPER (2) were slow away. HULA MOOLA (5) and BRIGHT STAR (6) made brief contact soon after the start with HULA MOOLA then shifting in making contact with RASSO (4). Racing toward the first turn YEBOAH (8) angled in making contact with BRIGHT STAR who lost ground. Rounding the first turn TEE KAY YAPPER shifted out getting on the hindquarters of LOOKS ALL GOOD (3) with these runners both unbalanced with TEE KAY YAPPER then shifting out hampering BRIGHT STAR and SPEED LORDE (7) who were both unbalanced losing ground. As a result BRIGHT STAR went back onto RASSO with these runners both unbalanced. LOOKS ALL GOOD was hampered losing ground rounding the bend. TEE KAY YAPPER and SPEED LORDE came together rounding the final bend.
Race 9	$20k Guaranteed Quaddie Sprint - C4 - 318	FRESCO STAR (5) and ROCKY BOY (9) were last to leave the boxes. Racing toward the first turn LITTLE DREAMS (2), IRISH BLUE (3) and FRESCO STAR came together with these runners briefly unbalanced, these runners continued to make contact entering the first bend with ROCKY BOY then shifting in contacting the heels of FRESCO STAR becoming unbalanced and falling. Rounding the bend CORTEZ FLYER (8) made solid contact with the hindquarters of MISS UNIVERSE (4) who was unbalanced hampering CYCLONE LUSI (6) with these runners losing ground going back into the line of LITTLE DREAMS who made solid contact with these runners with CYCLONE LUSI and MISS UNIVERSE becoming badly unbalanced, MISS UNIVERSE falling as a result. MISS UNIVERSE was examined by the veterinarian following this event with pain in the left wrist detected with a 7 day stand down imposed. CYCLONE LUSI was referred to the veterinarian which revealed pain in the left wrist with a 10 day stand down imposed. ROCKY BOY underwent a veterinary examination with a right fore toe injury detected with a 7 day stand down imposed.
Race 10	Delys Van Meeuwen Stakes - C4/5 - 527	LAKERVILLE (7) stumbled leaving the boxes losing considerable ground. SPANISH FANCY (5) angled in entering the first turn making contact with GOLD CLASS (4) who came together with ROCKIN' FANCY (3) with these runners becoming unbalanced. Also inconvenienced as a result was TALKIN FANCY (6) who shifted out off the heels of these runners Rounding the bend leaving the back straight SPANISH FANCY was placed in restricted room to the inside of TALKIN FANCY having to steady for a stride inconveniencing MISS VELOCETTE (2) and LAKERVILLE who lost ground.
Race 11	Carol's TAB Manurewa Stakes - C1 - 527	KINLOCH OSTI (2) began awkwardly losing ground. PODIUM BONUS (7) shifted in leaving the boxes making contact with the hindquarters of APRIL'S MY MUM (6) losing ground with these runners then further inconvenienced when MRS. PUNTING (8) angled in. Soon after the start MRS. PUNTING continued to shift in making solid contact with JINJA FANTASY (5) who was taken in onto MATALINO TWIST (3). Racing toward the first turn LOCKETT IN EDDIE (1) mad contact with the hindquarters of MOCKINJAY (4) for several strides. Entering the first turn JINJA FANTASY and MRS. PUNTING came together with MRS. PUNTING becoming unbalanced shifting out hampering APRIL'S MY MUM, KINLOCH OSTI and MATALINO TWIST who all lost ground. Rounding the bend KINLOCH OSTI made contact with the hindquarters of MRS. PUNTING with these runners becoming unbalanced. JINJA FANTASY gave ground over the concluding stages with a post race veterinary examination revealing no abnormality other than cramp with no stand down required.
Race 12	Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C3 - 318	BEE RABBIT (5) and WHERE'S CARLOS (6) came together leaving the boxes. Racing down the back straight MR. MUMBLES (1) shifted out making contact with SUPER ZIP ZIP (2) and SOMETIME SOON (4). Racing toward the first turn SUPER ZIP ZIP got on the heels of SOMETIME SOON with these runners both becoming unbalanced. Entering the first turn in a compact field JELLY GEM (3), BEE RABBIT, SUPER ZIP ZIP, SOMETIME SOON, WHERE'S CARLOS and ROTOVEGAS SPARKY (8) all came together.
