Race 1	AGRC Rewards Sprint - C2 - 318	EMBEE DEE (6) stood in the boxes as the start was effected losing several lengths. GULLY FLAHERTY (2) and ROCKETSHIP MAC (7) were slow away. Racing toward the first turn BECOMING PAW (4) angled in tightening NEED TO CHILL (3) and FORTIS FIONA (1) who both lost ground. Also inconvenienced as a result was GULLY FLAHERTY, who was trailing these runners, going back onto ROCKETSHIP MAC with both runners hampered losing ground. Rounding the bend GULLY FLAHERTY shifted out across the hindquarters on EMBEE DEE losing ground.
Race 2	Greyhound Function Centre Stakes - C0 - 527	OPAWA SPICE presented 1.5kg down from its previous start on 16 August 2015 with the new Trainer B Littlejohn advising this was an intentional decrease. ITSA FISH OIL (5), JETSUN ROYAL (6) and RED RASCAL (7) were slow away. Racing toward the first turn RED RASCAL angled in making solid contact with PREOCCUPIED (3) with both runners unbalanced. ITSA FISH OIL and RED RASCAL collided rounding the first bend. CHATEAU NEUF (1), GLOBAL CONQUEST (2) and PREOCCUPIED came together rounding the first turn with CHATEAU NEUF and GLOBAL CONQUEST losing ground. Also inconvenienced as a result was ITSA FISH OIL who was trailing losing ground. Racing into the back straight RED RASCAL came together with GLOBAL CONQUEST who made contact with JETSUN ROYAL with these runners losing ground. GLOBAL CONQUEST and RED RASCAL came together rounding the final bend.
Race 3	Trophies Plus Sprint - C3 - 318	JETSUN STORM (1), EZ FERETTI (4) and OPAWA UNO (5) were all slow away. OPAWA UNO (5) and JETSUN STORM came together entering the first turn. SACRED CAN YOU (3) and OPAWA VENUS (7) came together racing down the back straight and again entering the first turn with OPAWA VENUS becoming unbalanced losing ground going back onto OPAWA UNO who was hampered. EZ FERETTI shifted out coming together with BEE RABBIT (8) rounding the final bend. OPAWA VENUS was referred to the veterinarian following this event which revealed no abnormality.
Race 4	Carol's TABS Sprint - C3 - 318	PRAIRIE KACHINA presented 1.5kg up in weight from its previous start on 9 August 2015 with the connections advising this was an intentional increase. GOOD RETURN (5) began awkwardly then shifted in making solid contact with IT'S THE DREAM (4) with both runners becoming unbalanced losing ground. Soon after the start WHERE'S CARLOS (8) angled in making contact with FANCY MY LUCK (7) with these runners continuing to make contact on several occasions racing down the back straight. Entering the first turn BIGTIME DASHER (1) steadied off heels and shifted out crowding FANCY MY LUCK then came together with WHERE'S CARLOS with these runners all losing ground. Also inconvenienced as a result was GOOD RETURN who was following these runners.
Race 5	Deli's Sports Bar Clendon Inn Stakes - C2 - 527	B Craik was issued with a minor infringement and fined $100 for presenting WALTER MITTY (R5) 33.3kg up 2.3kg from its previous start on 13 August 2015. WALTER MITTY (4) and WHAT THAT DOES (6) were slow away. WALTER MITTY was inconvenienced soon after the start when ROCK LASS (5) shifted in. REGAZZA GINA (2), WALTER MITTY, WHAT THAT DOES (6) and UNCLE ROMILLY (8) came together entering the first turn with these runners all becoming unbalanced losing ground with WHAT THAT DOES and UNCLE ROMILLY shifting wider on the track. Also inconvenienced was EVEN SEVEN who was momentarily unbalanced. Entering the back straight UNCLE ROMILLY got on the heels of WALTER MITTY with these runners both inconvenienced shifting wider on the track losing ground.
Race 6	Sel's TAB Mangere Sprint Series Heat 1 - C1q - 318 Heat 1	WEE PING WAWA (1), SONIC ATTACK (2) and NIPPO (5) were slow away. NIPPO shifted out soon after the start making contact with the hindquarters of HOMEBUSH TIARE (6) with both runners briefly unbalanced. SONIC ATTACK and HOMEBUSH TIARE came together racing down the back straight. SONIC ATTACK steadied off the heels of HOMEBUSH TIARE entering the first turn losing ground. MULTI CHASER (4) shifted out entering the final straight taking LORD DE AIR (7) wider on the track. WEE PING WAWA raced wide throughout. NIPPO was attending to by the veterinarian following this event with no stand down required.
Race 7	Sel's TAB Mangere Sprint Series Heat 2 - C1q - 318 Heat 2	MAKING YOU PAW presented 1.7kg down in weight from its previous start on 12 July 2015 with the trainer advising this was an intentional decrease. BOTANY HOLLY (1) and MAKING YOU PAW (3) were slightly slow away. KRACK IT (6) began awkwardly and was then further hampered when MOCKINGJAY (7) angled in taking KRACK IT in onto BITA BANTA (5) with these three runners then jostling for a distance racing down the back straight losing ground. Also inconvenienced making contact with these runners was MAKING YOU PAW. Rounding the bend MAKING YOU PAW shifted out making contact with the hindquarters of BITA BANTA with both runners becoming unbalanced and MAKING YOU PAW losing ground. KRACK IT made the final bend awkwardly shifting out to race very wide entering the final straight.
Race 8	Sel's TAB Mangere Sprint Series Heat 3 - C1q - 318 Heat 3	LENNY MAC was a late scratching at 4.30pm on veterinary advice. MELMAN (1) and ZIPPING TAY (2) were slightly slow away. MATALINO TWIST (4) missed the start settling several lengths behind the field. Racing down the back straight ZIPPING TAY shifted in coming together with MELMAN with these runners then jostling for a distance. YOU BETCHA NODDY (6), COSMIC WARRA (7) and THRILLING LOGAN (8) came together for a distance racing toward the first turn. Entering the first turn MELMAN and ZIPPING TAY continued to make contact with ZIPPING TAY becoming unbalanced losing ground and shifting out into the line of COSMIC WARRA who was checked losing ground with MATALINO TWIST, who was trailing, having to take evasive action to avoid these runners also losing ground.
Race 9	McGhie Plumbing Stakes - C1 - 527	CAWBOURNE ROMAN (2), THRILLING EVIE (3) and APRIL'S MY MUM (4) came together soon after the start with these runners all becoming unbalanced losing ground with APRIL'S MY MUM then further inconvenienced when PROCRASTINATION (5) angled in. Racing toward the first turn PROCRASTINATION shifted in with ELEPHANT TRUNK becoming awkwardly placed on this runners heels shifting out slightly making contact with CAWBOURNE ROMAN who made contact with THRILLING EVIE who was inconvenienced shifting out taking APRIL'S MY MUM wider on the track. Entering the first turn OPAWA PEARL (6) shifted in into the line of PROCRASTINATION who was inconvenienced shifting out making solid contact with the hindquarters of JETSUN LORD JON (7) who was badly unbalanced with PROCRASTINATION then continuing to shift out making contact with LOCKETT IN EDDIE (8) who was taken wider losing ground. Also hampered as a result were THRILLING EVIE and APRIL'S MY MUM who shifted wide to avoid these runners losing ground. Rounding the final bend THRILLING EVIE improved onto the hindquarters of CAWBOURNE ROMAN becoming badly unbalanced with these runners both losing ground as a result.
Race 10	Plasterboard Ltd Stakes - C2/3 - 527	MEMORY LAPSE (5) was slow away. Soon after the start MONTANA (3), MULTICAM LAD (4), BLOO BLOOMERS (6) and MISS SELFIES (7) came together with these runners all becoming unbalanced with MONTANA then shifting in making contact with the hindquarters of MELHAM (2). Racing toward the first turn BLOO BLOOMERS got on the heels of MISS SELFIES for a stride. Entering the first turn MULTICAM LAD shifted in inconveniencing COOL MARLOW (1) who lost ground going back onto MEMORY LAPSE who was checked shifting out. Rounding the first turn MONTANA improved onto the hindquarters of MISS SELFIES with both runners becoming badly unbalanced and falling. Also badly hampered losing considerable ground as a result was BLOO BLOOMERS. MONTANA and MISS SELFIES were referred to the veterinarian following this event with MONTANA having no abnormality detected.
Race 11	Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C4/5 - 318	TEE KAY YAPPER (6) was slow away. Soon after the start SPEED LORDE (5) shifted out making contact with ATOONGA AIR (7) with these runners then jostling for a distance shifting in with SPEED LORDE then coming together with PAY DA TRAIL (3). Racing down the back straight PAY DA TRAIL made contact with the hindquarters of BIG JAMESY (2) who was momentarily unbalanced. Entering the first turn PAY DA TRAIL shifted in slightly coming together with TEE KAY YAPPER becoming briefly unbalanced shifting out into the line of SPEED LORDE who came together with ATOONGA AIR with these runners losing ground. BIG JAMESY was held up rounding the final bend before shifting out off the heels of JAY LOW (1) making contact with STYLISH FANCY (4) with both runners briefly unbalanced.
Race 12	Lochinvar Marlow Sprint - C4 - 318	SANDOR GELGANE (5) was slow away. CYCLONE LUSI (6) and LITTLE RASCAL (7) made brief contact racing down the back straight. Racing toward the first turn CALL ME BLUE (2) and CORTEZ FLYER (4) came together and were then further inconvenienced when CALAMITY FREE (8) angled in tightening these runners with these runners all coming together with CALL ME BLUE losing ground. Also hampered losing ground as a result was CRACKLES APPEAL (1) who was trailing these runners. Rounding the bend CALAMITY FREE got on the heels of LITTLE RASCAL with these runners both becoming badly unbalanced losing ground quickly going back onto CALL ME BLUE who was hampered also losing ground. Rounding the final bend CRACKLES APPEAL and ROCKY BOY (3) came together with both runners becoming unbalanced with ROCKY BOY then shifting out to race very wide. SANDOR GLEGANE and CALAMITY FREE made brief contact early in the final straight. Following this event LITTLE RASCAL was examined by the veterinarian with wrist pain detected and a 7 day stand down imposed.
