| Race 2 | N.Z. Racing Series Graduation Heat 1 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 1 | JIBBAJABBA JEWEL (4) was slow to jump. OPAWA PAUL (6) and JIBBAJABBA JEWEL came together in the early stages. Into the first bend GOLDSTAR JUNIOR (8) ran inwards checking BLACK SAILS (7) with JIBBAJABBA JEWEL being forced wide around this bend as a result. OPAWA TANIA (2) was tightened on the first bend. JIBBAJABBA JEWEL and KNOW HERO (5) both raced wide in the back straight. |
| Race 3 | Thursday Place Pick Stakes - C4 - 520 | JESSIE SURFS (5) was a clear last on jumping. MYSTIC ACTION (3) ran inwards in the early stages tightening GOLDSTAR AVERY (2) and coming together with ANDREA (1). GOLDSTAR AVERY then ran outwards causing a check to KNOW ATTEMPT (9). At the end of the back straight OPAWA MICHELLE (8) ran inwards pushing MYSTIC ACTION down the track with both runners losing ground. |
| Race 4 | N.Z. Racing Series Graduation Heat 2 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 2 | KNOW AMBITION (3) and KNOW NEGLECT (7) were the last pair on jumping. Into the first bend OPAWA ZARA (4) and THRILLING SPELL (1) came together as THRILLING SPELL attempted to run outwards. THRILLING SPELL then collided with KNOW AMBITION and lost its footing for a few strides. MEGA SURGE (2) was pushed wide when improving in the back straight. At the end of the back straight KNOW NEGLECT got on the heels of TEPIRITA HENDRIX (8) with severe checks to OPAWA ZARA and MEGA SURGE resulting. THRILLING SPELL, MEGA SURGE, KNOW AMBITION and OPAWA ZARA were all referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of any abnormalities. |
| Race 5 | Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C5 - 295 | RODRIGUEZ (3) and BRENDAN'S PUZZLE (8) were the last pair on jumping. Into the bend STARBURST TERRY (9) was badly dragged down by CAMSIDE GOLD (2) with both runners losing a lot of ground. Wider out BRENDAN'S PUZZLE received a check simultaneously to MOJO BURST (5) shifting outwards slightly with BRENDAN'S PUZZLE then getting on the heels of AIDEN BAXTER (7). HOMEBUSH ARIEL (4) was forced very wide as a result. CAMSIDE GOLD then faltered on the home turn and dropped out. STARBURST TERRY and CAMSIDE GOLD were both referred to the vet for assessment. STARBURST TERRY was cleared of injury but CAMSIDE GOLD was found to have a fractured right hock. BRENDAN'S PUZZLE was pushed up against the rail at the lure and was found to have lacerations to its left hind leg. |

OPAWA STELLA (4) was tightened in the run to the first bend as COVER TO COVER (6) shifted inwards. KNOW SECURITY (1) shifted up the track in the back straight. |

MICKEY TEE (4) and ABOUT TOWN (5) were both tightened in the early stages after LITTLE REGUS (6) had run inwards and JINJA LOCH (3) shifted outwards. On the bend SMASH THAT (8) ran inwards causing tightening to WHEELCHAIR NORM (7) and HOMEBUSH CHOPPER (1). In behind the trailing ARBRE CHENE was badly checked and ran outwards pushing LITTLE REGUS very wide. Early in the home straight ARBRE CHENE ran outwards checking JINJA LOCH when well back. |

PAPERBOND (6) ran inwards in the back straight tightening ZIPPING JYE which lost ground. HETFIELD (5) ran outwards on the turn causing a slight check to INSPECTOR SPOT (7). |
| Race 9 | N.Z. Racing Series Graduation Heat 4 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 4 | Favourite KNOW DECISION (2) was last on settling. THRILLING LUKE (1) shifted marginally outwards in the early stages. KNOW DECISION was then held up into the first bend before checking off heels into the back straight and pushing WHAT I LIKE (7) very wide on the track. WEARS THE GOLD (3) shifted wide in the back straight and continued to cover extra ground throughout. |

DIRK THE JERK was checked and ran wide on the first bend losing a lot of ground. This runner was referred to the vet for assessment with no abnormalities detected. THRILLING MARTY (6) received a slight check on the home turn and ran outwards hampering KNOW LAPSE (5) for a few strides. |
