| Race 1 | The "Rapeti Hop" Sprint - C2 - 318 | LAYLA HIGH FLY box 8 began awkwardly and soon after became unbalanced in her galloping action dropping off the back of the field . Soon after the start LOLA'S QUEST was checked when caught in between WILD FALCON and VERY CHILLY. Racing in to the first bend LOLA'S QUEST became uncomfortable in her galloping action for the remainder of the race finishing in the rear at the line. LAYLA HIGH FLY was referred to the vet for assessment with a fracture to the left hock. LOLA'S QUEST was referred to the vet and was found to have right deltoid & left fibula pain. |
| Race 2 | Trophies Plus Sprint - C0 - 318 | PLAITING PUSS ran in from the start across the face of SCOTT SOME GAS. YOU BETCHA GUFF box 1 ran outwards from the jump bumping in to AMPELMANNCHEN and SCOTT SOME GAS. YOU BETCHA GUFF bumped PLAITING PUSS racing in to the first bend . DECEPTIVE LAD box 7 ran in to the shoulder of LURE ME IN and WATCH THAT GYPSY ( fav ) racing in to the first bend. WATCH THAT GYPSY lost a couple of lengths at this point. AMPELMANCCHEN raced widest across the top bend in to the home straight covering a fair amount of extra ground in the running finishing strongly in to 3rd placing at the line. |
| Race 3 | Greyhounds As Pets Stakes - C1 - 527 | RAMAH REASON box 2 slipped on leaving the boxes stumbling being last away by several lengths, he raced wide around the bend on the first occasion and along the back straight making some ground on to the back of the field, he ran wide in to the home straight finishing towards the rear at the line. RAMAH REASON was referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 4 | AGRC Rewards Sprint - C1 - 318 | WAEREGA STAR box 8 ran inwards from the start as YOU BETCHA NODDY ran outwards resulting in COOL TIME, LORD DE AIR and FERAL HELEN being tightened and checked. LORD DE AIR angled sharply out between runners soon after to gain clear racing room . FERAL HELEN moved inwards racing in to the first bend catching the heels of YOU BETCHA NODDY and fell. FERAL HELEN quickly recovered to her feet to finish on to the lure and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. |
| Race 5 | McGhie Plumbing Stakes - C2/3 - 527 | OUR HEISENBERG ( fav ) was bumped racing away from the start, he was tightened slightly in to the back straight and only improved fairly there after in to 4th placing at the line. MONTANA caught the heels of COLD TURKEY and stumbled for a stride in the run across the top bend. LUCKY MAN was last to begin and was never in contention there after racing poorly through out finishing in the rear at the line. LUCKY MAN was referred to the vet for assessment where he was found to have left fibula and left calf muscle pain. |
| Race 6 | $10k Guaranteed Triple Trio Stakes - C1 - 527 | This race was delayed 2 minutes at the request of Race day control. WHAT THAT DOES began awkwardly for a stride or so from midfield. MR DARCI stumbled for a stride soon after the start as SKYLER WHITE raced across to the rail. COOKIE MONSTER racing back in the field attempted to improve racing across the top bend and was hampered for some distance when unable to clear the back of OPAWA LOI, these two being the last to the line. |
| Race 7 | Deli's Sports Bar Clendon Inn Sprint Series Final - C0f - 318 | BELCROFT BANK jumped well box 1 and raced away for an easy win breaking the Grade record in 18.26. previous record was 18.34. TUNZA FUN ran outwards from the start pushing KIMETTO ( fav ) on to EVA KANEVA, EM HOLLAND was checked back from between these runners EVA KANEVA bumped and jostled with EM HOLLAND and KIMETTO for several strides in the run in to the first bend. KIMETTO and OUR SWIFT BUDDY came together racing on to the bend, KIMETTO lost ground back towards the rear. EVA KANEVA ran widest across the top bend. |
| Race 8 | Sel's TAB Mangere Sprint Series Final - C1f - 318 | HALLO STAR box 7 ran across rom the start, WHISPER MAGIC and BRITNEY STAR moved outward KITTY'S SHIRAZ in the middle was checked, WHISPER MAGIC went back on to the heels of BRITNEY STAR all these runners lost momentum and ground at this point. LADY JANE and PERCENTAGE GIRL raced wide in to and across the top bend. |
| Race 9 | Lochinvar Marlow Sprint - C5 - 318 | MISS UNIVERSE was away well in the initial stages racing handy wider out to the first and was galloped on as SPEED LORDE angled across. MISS UNIVERSE lost momentum back towards the rear and was unable to get back in to contention there after. SANDOR GLEGANE angled in across the face of ATOONGA AIR racing in to the first bend and was checked as SPEED LORDE ran on to the heels of MISS UNIVERSE, SANDOR GLEGANE was almost stopped in his tracks losing back towards the rear and was unable to improve there after. |
| Race 10 | $10k Guaranteed Quaddie Sprint - C4 - 318 | MACJAM ( fav ) and BIG JAMSEY came together soon after the start. Racing to the first bend BIG JAMSEY pushing out off the heels of LITTLE RASCAL on to the shoulder of MACJAM who lost ground back towards the rear, CRACKLES APPEAL raced through on the inner of MACJAM catching his near hind tripping up, MACJAM fell and was quickly to his feet to finish on to the lure and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. |
| Race 11 | Plasterboard Ltd Stakes - C4/5 - 527 | METHOD MAN began only fairly, racing in to the bend on the first occasion he was checked as ATOM BOMB angled inwards. METHOD MAN raced in the rear in to the back straight running out wide then racing down towards the rail, METHOD MAN appeared to become unbalanced for a couple of strides in to the bend racing 6 or so lengths in the rear running past ATOM BOMB who had raced wide in to the home in the run to the line. METHOD MAN was referred to the vet for assessment where he was found to have right side deep pectoral muscle pain. |
| Race 12 | Carol's TAB Manurewa Stakes - C2 - 527 | ARTIC ROUGE was bumped and jostled soon after the start and in the run down in to the bend on the first occasion. EVEN SEVEN racing handy in to the far bend was hampered and checked when unable to clear the hind of UNCLE ROMILLY, EVEN SEVEN went back a couple of lengths keeping his position in 3rd in the running to the line. |
| Race 13 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C3 - 318 | HASHTAG JOSH and POPCORN SUTTON bumped and jostled for some distance racing to the first bend both runners ran wide when well back in the field. POPCORN SUTTON made good ground late in to 3rd placing at the line. JETSUN STORM was difficult to box away today holding the start slightly, he will be monitored for his next few starts. |
