Judicial report: AVONDALE AL completed a satisfactory trial as required under Rule 79.1a. HARKONEN BALE completed a satisfactory trial as required under Rule 79.1b. R Wales was fined $50 under Rule 87.1dd for failing to ensure his phone was switched off while boxing.

Race 1	Super Pets Dash - C0 - 295	MAX BRAINSTRAIN (3) and DEFINITE (6) were slow away. Racing down the back straight DEFINITE made contact with the hindquarters of MAX BRAINSTRAIN with these runners then jostling for a distance losing ground. ANOTHER CHARM (1), THESEUS and LIN BAXTER (7) came together entering the first turn with THESEUS and LIN BAXTER becoming unbalanced shifting out making contact with WHERES CANDY (8) who was badly unbalanced going back onto MAX BRAINSTRAIN who was hampered with MAX BRAINSTRAIN and WHERES CANDY losing considerable ground. THESEUS (4) raced wide entering the final straight. WHERES CANDY was examined by the veterinarian following this event with no abnormality detected.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Jim Smith Stakes - C0 - 520	SOME EXCITMENT (7) was slow away. SHEERAN (4) shifted out leaving the boxes coming together with OPAWA SHAY (5) who made contact with KNOW THANKS (6). Racing toward the first turn SOME EXCITMENT shifted out across the heels of OAK SPUR (8) who angled in. Entering the first turn PRIVATE ACTION (1) got on the heels of OPAWA BUCKS EYE (3) with these runners inconvenienced losing ground. At the same time KNOW THANKS (6) shifted in into the line of GOLDSTAR ARCHIE (2) who shifted out hampering SHEERAN with these two runners racing wide for a distance. Entering the bend leaving the back straight OAK SPUR (8) was placed in restricted room losing ground.
Race 3	Hurunui Hotel Sprint - C0 - 295	TEPIRITA OKUKU (2) was slow away. Racing toward the first turn CRONOS (7) angled in hampering LUCAS SCOTT (3) who lost ground. Soon after CRONOS came together with SASHA MCBELL (8) before getting on the heels of JOEY BAXTER (1) with CRONOS losing ground going back onto LUCAS SCOTT (3) who was hampered losing ground. GORDONS MY MATE (5) raced wide throughout.
Race 4	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C0 - 295	MAGIC GINA presented 3kgs below its previous start on 10 July 2015 with trainer J McInerney advising this was an intentional decrease. FARAWAY EYES (1) was slow away losing several lengths. TATUM BAXTER (7) began awkwardly inconveniencing JAMES MCBELL (6). PRIVATE AGENDA (2) shifted out soon after the start inconveniencing MAGIC GINA (3) and CHILE MUSTARD (4). Racing toward the first turn CHILE MUSTARD made brief contact with the hindquarters of MAGIC GINA before shifting in becoming unbalanced for a stride. FARAWAY EYES and CHILE MUSTARD made brief contact rounding the bend.
Race 5	Amber Cleaning Services Stakes - C0 - 520	CRYSTAL FLAME (8) was slow away. OPAWA RICHIE (7) angled in soon after the start inconveniencing PASS WITH CARE (6) and JINGA SNAG (5). OPAWA RICHIE then continued to shift in coming together with ESTER ACTION (4) who came together with COLDRUM (2) with these runners making contact on several occasions racing toward the first turn. Entering the first turn ESTER ACTION and OPAWA RICHIE continued to make contact with these runners becoming unbalanced shifting out hampering CRYSTRAL FLAME who was taken wider on the track. Also inconvenienced as a result was JINGA SNAG who shifted out very wide to avoid these runners.
Race 6	Coalgate Tavern Sprint - C0 - 295	ACAMAS (9) jumped in the air as the boxes opened losing considerable ground. HOMEBUSH MESSI (2) and SHANE MCBELL (3) came together leaving the boxes with these runners then both inconvenienced making contact with the hindquarters of FOXY BABE (4) who angled in. Also inconvenienced as a result was ROYAL ACTION (1) who became awkwardly placed on the heels of HOMEBUSH MESSI. HOMEBUSH MESSI (2) was tightened losing ground when placed in restricted room to the inside of SHANE MCBELL (3) entering the first turn with HOMEBUSH MESSI then shifting out hampering ROYAL ACTION (1) and ANOTHER RIDDLE (5).
Race 7	Carol's T.A.B. Stakes - C1/2 - 520	BOSTON BILLY (6) and OPAWA KENDAL (7) came together leaving the boxes. BLACK SAILS (2), OPAWA KURU (3), OPAWA BORN (4) and CHIPPA LATA (5) all came together soon after the start with OPAWA KURU, OPAWA BORN and CHIPPA LATA losing ground with these runners then continuing to make contact for a distance racing toward the first turn. BLACK SAILS and BOSTON BILLY made contact racing toward the first turn with OPAWA KENDAL becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of these runners. Entering the first turn OPAWA KURU and OPAWA KENDAL came together with these runners becoming unbalanced shifting out with OPAWA KENDAL making solid contract with GOLDSTAR ROSIE (8) who became badly unbalanced and fell. Entering the bend leaving the back straight OPAWA BORN had to check off the heels of OPAWA KURU for a stride. GOLDSTAR ROSIE underwent a post race veterinary examination with no abnormality detected.
Race 8	Protexin Sprint Heat 1 - C2q - 295 Heat 1	WILL EXCITE (7) was hampered losing ground leaving the boxes when SHAKAYLA ROSE (8) angled in. JINJA LUCA (1) and MULBERRY ROCK (2) came together on several occasions racing toward the first turn. Entering the first turn THAT'S A WRAP (6) angled in tightening WRINKLES (3) and MULBERRY BROOK who lost ground.
Race 9	Protexin Sprint Heat 2 - C2q - 295 Heat 2	SMAOKING MARLEY (8), DREAM LARGE (7), HOMEBUSH NAKI (6) and GIGANAIRE (5) came together soon after the start with all runners unbalanced and DREAM LARGE falling as a result. CAWBOURNE PEEJAY (4) and GIGANAIRE came together entering the first turn with GIGANAIRE then racing wide. DREAM LARGE underwent a post race veterinary examination following this event with no abnormality detected.
Race 10	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C1/2 - 520	BLUSHING BELLE (4) and KIRKHAM JACK (9) came together leaving the boxes. OPAWA PAUL (7) and KIRKHAM JACK shifted in making contact with the hindquarters of VERNON BALE (3) racing toward the first turn. Entering the first turn AMBILIGHT (1) was tightened losing ground going back onto KIRKHAM JACK with these runners badly unbalanced with KIRKHAM JACK going back onto OPAWA PAUL (7) and OPAWA ROB (6) who were hampered then shifting in making solid contact with BLUSHING BELLE with these runners losing ground. KIRKHAM JACK then shifted out hampering OPAWA PAUL and OPAWA ROB (6) rounding the bend. The recording of this event was interrupted due to a power failure.
Race 11	Protexin Sprint Heat 3 - C2q - 295 Heat 3	ONLY GOT TIME (4) and SHOWROOM (5) came together leaving the boxes shifting in making contact with LIL DANNY RASCAL (3) with these runners then further inconvenienced when HOMEBUSH BRUNO (6) shifted in tightening these runners. OHOKA HOPE (1) and LIL DANNY RASCAL came together entering the first turn with these runners shifting out hampering ONLY GOT TIME and SHOWROOM. ONLY GOT TIME then raced wide for the remainder of the event. HOMEBUSH BRUNO and HOMEBUSH FLYTE (8) made brief contact rounding the final bend. LIL DANNY RASCAL was examined by the veterinarian following this event which revealed a laceration to the right hind with a 14 day stand down imposed.
Race 12	Protexin Sprint Heat 4 - C2q - 295 Heat 4	KENNY'S COMET (6) was slow away. MUST DESIRE (7) shifted in leaving the boxes inconveniencing HOMEBUSH ERROL (5). Entering the first turn MUST DESIRE angled in inconveniencing WOOLY WHATSIT (1). GLENN IS GOODESY (4), WOOLY WHATSIT, MUST DESIRE and BILLY WEST (8) came together rounding the bend with all runners becoming unbalanced WOOLY WHATSIT losing ground as a result.
