Judicial report: D Stapleton was issued with a minor infringement and fined $100 for presenting EARN ME SOME 1.9kgs above its weight at its previous start on 6 August 2015. A Waretini was issued with a minor infringement and fined $50 under Rule 71.2 for failing to catch ANDREA (race 6). LONG STOCKINGS and VERNON BLAE completed a satisfactory trial as required under Rule 79.1b.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C3 - 295	OM NOM NOM (3) was slow away. UNRELIABLE ANDY (8) shifted in leaving the boxes making contact with RICK'S TREASURE (7) who came together with OHOKA COBY (6) these runners continued to make contact on several occasions racing toward the first turn, all losing ground as a result. OM NOM NOM shifted out off the heels of ILABB (2) rounding the final bend inconveniencing OHOKA COBY who was taken wider on the track.
Race 2	Feral Greyhound Kennels Dash - C3 - 295	REPLAY (3) and TIME SLAYER (4) were slow away. REPLAY made contact with IMPERSONATOR (2) soon after the start. TIME SLAYER (4) made brief contact with the heels of THUNDER STORM (6) who shifted in racing down the back straight. Racing toward the first turn BATIATUS (8) angled in hampering WRINKLES (7) who was unbalanced losing ground. Rounding the first turn REPLAY made solid contact with the hindquarters of BATIATUS with both runners hampered losing ground. REPLAY, WRINKLES and BATIATUS came together and jostled for several strides rounding the final bend when racing at the rear of the field.
Race 3	Interislander Thursday Place Pick Dash - C4 - 295	ANOTHER FAN (1) and OPAWA IDOL (4) were slow away. WUNZEE (5) was tightened leaving the boxes between RUSTY KNIFE (3) and LITTLE REGUS (6) who shifted in. TOKEN ACE (8), WUNZEE, RUSTY KNIFE and RAMBUNCTIOUS (2) came together entering the first bend with all runners hampered losing considerable ground with RAMBUNCTIOUS and WUNZEE the worst affected. Also hampered losing ground as a result were OPAWA IDOL and ANOTHER FAN who were trailing these runners with OPAWA IDOL then racing wide for the remainder of the event. RUSTY KNIFE and TOKEN ACE came together rounding the final bend.
Race 4	Jinjarango @ Stud Stakes - C3 - 520	ZULU CHANEL (3) and KNOW LAPSE (6) were slow away. MYSTIC ACTION (8) angled in tightening EARN ME SOME (7) onto PLUTONIUM (5) soon after the start with these runners then jostling for a distance racing toward the first turn. Entering the first turn MYSTIC ACTION shifted in into the line of EARN ME SOME who was hampered shifting out. MYSTIC ACTION then continued to shift in hampering PLUTONIUM who shifted out off this runners heels hampering EARN ME SOME and KNOW LAPSE who were taken wider losing ground. CAWBOURNE WAR (4), PLUTONIUM and EARN ME SOME made brief contact entering the back straight. ZULU CHANEL and EARN ME SOME made contact losing ground entering the bend leaving the back straight when racing at the rear of the field.
Race 5	Vital Pet Foods Dash - C3 - 295	SLEEPER AGENT (2) and KNOW CONTEST (5) collided on several occasions racing toward the first turn. Soon after FAIR CRUZIN (8) steadied off the heels of BROOKE DAVIS (7) then shifted in tightening KNOW CONTEST who got on this runners heels with both runners becoming unbalanced losing ground. Also inconvenienced was SLEEPER AGENT.
Race 6	Fast Archer @ Stud Stakes - C3/4 - 520	HELLO BLONDIE (6) and JESSIE SURFS (8) were slow away. KNOW MAYHEM (5) and OPAWA STRETCH (7) came together soon after the start with OPAWA STRETCH losing ground. HELLO BLONDIE was inconvenienced soon after the start when JESSIE SURFS angled in. JESSIE SURFS lost ground racing into the first turn after shifting out off heels. KNOW MAYHEM came together with WHAT I LIKE (9) entering the first bend losing ground as a result. KNOW MAYHEM then came together with OPAWA STRETCH for a stride rounding the first bend.
Race 7	Know Peace @ Stud Dash - C5 - 295	GOLDSTAR CHUMLEE (6) was slow away. ECKLES (7) began awkwardly. KNOW KNOWING (8) angled in soon after the start making contact with SMASH RUMOUR (9) with both runners becoming unbalanced. Racing down the back straight ZEBIDIAH (5) angled in hampering HOMEBUSH ROCKY (2) and CAWBOURNE JELLY. ZEBIDIAH then continued to shift in placing HOMEBUSH ROCKY in restricted room rounding the first turn with HOMEBUSH ROCKY losing ground as a result. ECKLES and KNOW KNOWING made contact rounding the first bend with KNOW KNOWING losing ground. CAWBOURNE JELLY (1) and ECKLES came together rounding the final bend and again early in the final straight.
Race 8	Garrard's Horse & Hound Canterbury Greyhound OTB Maiden - C0f - 520	OPAWA SHAY (1) was slow away. OPAWA CRUSADE (4) missed the start by several lengths. WITH PRIDE (7) shifted in leaving the boxes making contact with the hindquarters of OPAWA GUMISIE (6) for several strides before shifting in across this runners heels. Racing toward the first turn KNOW STYLE (5) and OPAWA GUMISIE (6) came together and jostled for a distance with KNOW STYLE losing ground. JINJA PISTOL (2) and CANDID (3) made contact racing toward the first turn with CANDID losing ground. OPAWA SHAY and WITH PRIDE (7) came together rounding the first bend and continued to make contact for a distance losing ground. OPAWA VAL (8) shifted in making brief contact with WITH PRIDE entering the final straight.
Race 9	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C5 - 520	OPAWA DIESEL (2) and DREAM COLLECTOR (4) were slow away. TRUST ISSUES (7) was hampered soon after the start between OPAWA ROSIE (8) who shifted in slightly and IZZEY BALE (5) who shifted out abruptly with these three runners making contact for several strides. Also inconvenienced was DREAM COLLECTOR who shifted wider on the track. Racing toward the first turn KNOW MENTION (3) had to steady and shift out off the heels of HOMEBUSH CHOPPER. Entering the first bend OPAWA ROSIE continued to shift in hampering TRUST ISSUES and IZZEY BALE, who both lost ground, then came together with KNOW MENTION.
Race 10	Petware Sprint Final - C1f - 295	OHOKA TOO SOON (1) was slow away. HOMEBUSH NAKI (4) was inconvenienced leaving the boxes shifting in making brief contact with KNOW VALUE (3). WOOLY WHATSIT (7) and BLACK SAILS (8) made brief contact soon after the start. Racing into the first turn BLACK SAILS shifted in inconveniencing WOOLY WHATSIT who got on this runners heels for a stride losing ground. BLACK SAILS then shifted out to race wide for the remainder of the event. Rounding the bend WOOLY WHATSIT shifted in making brief contact with HOMEBUSH NAKI.
Race 11	Total Vets Presidents Cup - C5 - 295	RODRIGUEZ (4) and ZIPPING JYE (7) were slow away. ZORBA THE GREEK (8) shifted in leaving the boxes hampering ZIPPING JYE and GORILLA ON DRUMS (6). Soon after the start WHEELCHAIR NORM (3) shifted in coming together with CAMSIDE GOLD (2) with these runners jostling for a distance with CAMSIDE GOLD hampered losing ground. WHEELCHAIR NORM then continued to shift in coming together with STARBURST TERRY (1) who was also hampered losing ground. Soon after STARBURST TERRY got on the heels of CAMSIDE GOLD for a stride with these runners losing ground going back onto GORILLA ON DRUMS and ZORBA THE GREEK who were both badly hampered losing considerable ground and their chances. GORILLA ON DRUMS and ZORBA THE GREEK were examined by the veterinarian following this event with no abnormalities detected.
Race 12	Van Gerwin Sprint - C4 - 295	VAN GERWIN (2) was slow away. PUMA PANTS (7) shifted in leaving the boxes inconveniencing ADROIT (6) then making contact with QUEDRAGO (5). QUEDRAGO and PUMA PANTS came together rounding the first turn with PUMA PANTS losing ground going back into the line of ADROIT who was checked shifting out taking BLONDE TORI (8) wider on the track with these runners losing ground as a result. VAN GERWIN shifted out off heels entering the final straight.
