Track: Good Following race three, it was observed that there was a partial break in the lure wire which had to be replaced and as a result, the meeting was put back by two races for the remainder of the programme. The meeting then proceeded smoothly and concluded at the amended time.

Judicial report: T.McCracken the Trainer of FLIRT WITH ME was fined $ 100-00 under the provisions of Rule 69.11 when the bitch weighed in 1.6 kilograms up in weight from her last start on 22.07.15.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305	EM CEE DEE went up in the air with the box lids and was slow to begin, settled back and stayed there throughout the race.
Race 2	HAPPY BIRTHDAY PETE CLAUSEN C0 - C0 - 305	HIGHWAY HOUND, HOMEBUSH ROCCO and MISS BUNNYTHORPE were slow to begin losing two lengths. HIGHWAY HOUND propped and became unbalanced in the back straight and lost several lengths. HIGHWAY HOUNDS future raceing manners will be closely monitored by the Stewards. MISS BUNNYTHORPE and PLAITING PUSS jostled together going into the bend and they lost ground and never recovered.
Race 3	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C0 FINAL - C0f - 520	TANK'S ROB was a late scratchinng after suffering a carpal injury when being prepared for the race. DARK GARNAH was slow to begin losing four lengths. AGENT MICK was checked entering the back straight and went back onto CAWBOURNE MARCEY and they lost three lengths. Following this race it was established that the Lure Wire had partially broken and needed to be replaced. As a result, the meeting was put back two races for the remainder of the meeting.
Race 4	J P PRINT PETONE C1 - C1 - 305	STAINLESS KNOCKA and BOSTON LIGHTNING dwelt at the start and lost two lengths. MAD MUSIC was tightened between runners going into the first corner and lost two lengths. MAD MUSIC and ANOTHER QUEEN were checked on the bend and they went back to the rear and stayed there to finish in the last two places.
Race 5	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305	BOSTON THUNDER and CAWBOURNE SHADOW bumped together when the start was made and settled back. They then jostled together for some distance going to and on the bend, losing ground and they went back to the rear and stayed there until the finish.
Race 6	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305	BLACK MAGIC ROCK shifted in abruptly from the start and checked FORTIS LION which lost two lengths. DO MORE checked over the heels of the leader BLUE MOVIN going into the bend and lost ground. CONSUMATE EASE checked off the heels of LYNNY SOUTHCOMBE on the bend and went back onto INTO THE FRAY and they both lost three lengths.
Race 7	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C1 - C1 - 305	BECOMING PAW shifted in from the start and hampered WASEM TWIST for a short distance. WASEM TWIST shifted in going into the bend and crowded CAWBOURNE CLAY which went back slightly. MR ZAFONIC then raced onto the heels of CAWBOURNE CLAY with both runners being severely checked and MR ZAFONIC fell and CAWBOURNE CLAY went down behind. They were referred to the Vet for assessment and MR ZAFONIC was cleared of injury but CAWBOURNE CLAY suffered from toe injuries.
Race 8	AON CPF C1 - C1 - 305	ALLEGRO HERO was awkwardly positioned between BLITZING FLYER and WAERENGA STAR going into the bend and she was tightened and checked. ALLEGRO HERO went off stride soon after and drifted to finish several lengths last and was referred to the vet for assessment and found to have stopper bane swelling.
Race 9	FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 520	All clear
Race 10	INDULGE SKIN SPA WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 520	BUSTER BOY was slow to begin losing three lengths. BUSTER BOY shifted out going into the first corner and collided with SARAH CAMPBELL which was checked losing four lengths and she stayed back for the remainder of the race.
Race 11	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C2 - C2 - 305	COLD TURKEY and BOTANY LIZ were the slowest to begin losing two lengths and they stayed back throughout the race to finish in the last two places. WAIMAK DAVE shifted in going into the bend and checked EMBEE DEE which lost three lengths.
Race 12	CHRISTMAS AT THE RACES @ HATRICK 06 345 6794 C2 - C2 - 305	MCJOPSON and DIPSY LALA jostled together for some distance going to the first corner and eventually, DIPSY LALA was not able to hold her place and checked losing three lengths. ANGIE ZARR and BLUE SENIOR shared the lead going to the first corner but then ANGIS ZARR shifted in and checked BLUE SENIOR which lost two lengths.
Race 13	DOPEY DOG LASER ENGRAVING C1 - C1 - 305	OPPORTUNIST and BOSS APPEAL bumped together soon after the start and BOSS APPEAL lost ground and settled back. DOUBLE ENTENDRE shifted in going to the first corner and bumped LAGOON MAC which was briefly hampered.
Race 14	KEENAN CONCRETE C1 - C1 - 305	One of the favourites RAPPER DASH was the slowest to begin losing a length. She then made up ground going to the first corner but galloped on the back of HOMEBUSH DOBBY and was checked losing three lengths and was never able to make up that ground and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 15	Non Tote - Tier 2 - 305	LITTLE ARTHUR was very slow to begin losing several lengths but he did make up some griound to finish in 6th place. MACGYVER RAMA and OPEHU FLYER bumped together going into the bend and they lost three lengths.
