Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C1 - 295	VITO BAXTER (6) was slow through the initial stages. OPAL JEWEL (3) and BHUJA (4) jostled for some distance into the first bend. Rounding the bend CAWBOURNE DOZER (2) was unbalanced when contacted from behind and shifted ground outwards hampering OPAL JEWEL, BHUJA and EUG THE SCROOGE (8).
Race 2	Glenbyre Tavern Dash - C1 - 295	OUR JOHN (8) was slow to begin. STRUGGLE IS REAL (2) began awkwardly. Into the first bend NOT SO CUTE (4) and MAGIC ARROW (3) made firm contact with MAGIC ARROW losing ground and momentum as a result.
Race 3	Amber Cleaning Services Stakes - C1 - 520	ANOTHER MESSAGE (8) and JEWEL APACHE (6) made firm contact shortly after the start. Passing the winning post on the first occasion BENJAMIN BLACK (2) was hampered when tight to the outside of KNOW ANSWER (1) which shifted outwards. Into the back straight LIGNITE GIRL (4) was contacted from behind by KNOW ANSWER and gave ground as a result. LIGNITE GIRL was checked by the club veterinarian and cleared of injury.
Race 4	David Emerson Consultancy Sprint - C1 - 295	SHELLY MCBELL (8) shifted inwards on jumping and was unbalanced when making firm contact with MARTY MCMOTH (7). CHARLIE NEXT BOY (5) made firm contact with PETRA HAKA (4) shortly after jumping. MIGHTY MAC (3) was hampered in consequence. Shortly thereafter PETRA HAKA lost ground when checked by SHELLY MCBELL which shifted inwards towards the running line.
Race 5	Hampden Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520	GOLDSTAR COCO (8) and LUMINARY (6) were both slow to begin. Passing the winning post on the first occasion IDOL LEANNE (2) was hampered when awkwardly placed on the heels of RUN ZOLA (3). CAWBOURNE WALES (5) raced wide on the track rounding the first bend into the back straight. At the end of the back straight GOLDSTAR COCO was checked when tightened between LUMINARY, which shifted inwards and OPAWA GRUNTER (1). RUN ZOLA and KNOW SMIGGLE (7) were hampered in consequence.
Race 6	Anglers Arm's Tavern Sprint - C1 - 295	TOO MUCH REBEL (2) was slow to begin. BOSTON MONA (6) and GO TOMMO (4) made contact shortly after the start. HOMEBUSH FINE (5) and MAMALULU (3) jostled for a distance into the first bend. TOO MUCH REBEL checked outwards across the heels of MAMALULU rounding the bend and hampered HOMEBUSH FINE into the running of HYPERPARADISE (7) which was forced wider as a result. HOMEBUSH FINE was unbalanced on entering the straight when contacted from behind by BOSTON MONA.
Race 7	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C1 - 520	PINDARI (4) was slow in the initial stages. MC LOVIN (6) was squeezed between KNOW SCHOLAR (5) and OPAWA LOI (7) and lost ground shortly after the start after OPAWA EXTREME (3) shifted out abruptly. Shortly thereafter OPAWA LOI was unbalanced and lost ground when contacted by OPAWA EXTREME which had continued on an outward movement. Rounding the bend into the back straight PINDARI was checked when tight to the inside of MC LOVIN.
Race 8	Clarkson Sign Studio Dash - C1 - 295	CAWBOURNE CLOCK (8) was slow to begin. OPAWA ROCKET (3) began awkwardly. Shortly after the start ZIPPORA BLAZE (1) shifted outwards and made contact with OPAWA ROCKET. ZIPPORA BLAZE lost momentum and ground making contact with AIR EXPRESS (2). OPAWA ROCKET was contacted from behind by AIR EXPRESS and lost momentum on the bend. ZIPPORA BLAZE and MALCY (7) were hampered in consequence. Rounding the bend KNOW VALUE (4) and HOMEBUSH NARK (6) came together with KNOW VALUE losing momentum. Shortly thereafter KNOW VALUE shifted outwards across the heels of HOMEBUSH NARK and forced AIR EXPRESS wider on the track.
Race 9	Christchurch Casino Stakes - C1 - 520	OPAWA KURU (7) and KNOW WORTH (8) were slow through the initial stages. Shortly after the start GOLDSTAR PO (5), JINJA JAFFA (4) and OPAWA ROCKY (3) all came together and jostled for a short distance. Into the first turn OPAWA ROCKY was checked when LENA ALLEN (1) shifted outwards. JINJA JAFFA was hampered in consequence. At the end of the back straight LAGOON VICTORY (6) was hampered when tightened between GOLDSTAR PO and UNO SHAY (2).
Race 10	Opawa Bowl & Jack Sprint - C1 - 295	KENTARO BAXTER (7) and SKILLZ TAYLOR (6) came together shortly after jumping and jostled for some distance.
Race 11	Mac Developments Sprint - C1 - 295	OHOKA JOKA (9) was slow to begin. BRANDISH (2) began awkwardly. Rounding the bend BLAZING HOT (4) was unbalanced when tightened between HUMAN INSTINCT (1) and GRAYSON BLUE (5). BLAZING HOT was awkward on the heels of GRAYSON BLUE for a short distance thereafter.
Race 12	Snow-e Muscle, Energy & Fertility Dash - C1 - 295	GUMP'S THE NAME (7) and HAYLEY JAMES (6) jostled for some distance after the start. Rounding the bend MAGIC DOZER (5) shifted outwards off the heels of HOMEBUSH GRU (8) and hampered GUMP'S THE NAME. Shortly thereafter HAYLEY JAMES became awkwardly placed on heels of CRYSTALL MCBELL (4) and MAGIC DOZER and was unbalanced momentarily.
