| Race 1 | Super Pets Sprint - C0 - 295 | SOME EXCITMENT (5) and ANOTHER RUSS (8) were slow to begin. CAWBOURNE TRICK (2) and FOXY BABE (1) jostled for some distance shortly after the start. Into the first bend LIN BAXTER (3), CAWBOURNE TRICK and FOXY BABE were all hampered when tightened by PIECE (6) which shifted inwards towards the running line. As a result LIN BAXTER was unbalanced and shifted outwards hampering PASS WITH CARE (7) forcing that runner over extra ground. |
| Race 2 | Greyhounds As Pets Dash - C0 - 295 | ANOTHER CHARM (3) began awkwardly. WALLY BAXTER (7) shifted inwards abruptly on jumping and made firm contact with ROYAL ACTION (5). YELLA LOT (10) lost ground when making contact with ANOTHER CHARM into the first bend. Rounding the bend GRUBBY STUBBIES (6) and LUCAS SCOTT (8) came together and were unbalanced for a short distance. GRUBBY STUBBIES checked across the heels of LUCAS SCOTT on entering the home straight. CAWBOURNE KITT (1) shifted wider on the track late in the home straight making contact with LUCAS SCOTT. |
| Race 3 | Coalgate Tavern Sprint - C1/2 - 295 | KYLA ROSE (1) and SHOWROOM (2) were slow to begin . ILABB (7) shifted inwards after jumping and hampered GIGANAIRE (6), HANNA THE SPANNA (5) and HOMEBUSH ERROL (4) .GIGANAIRE was further hampered shortly thereafter when firmly contacted by CRONK WENT PLONK (8). HANNA THE SPANNA was hampered in consequence. Rounding the bend HOMEBUSH ERROL was checked when tight to the inside of CRONK WENT PLONK which shifted inwards. KYLA ROSE and HANNA THE SPANNA jostled for a distance on entering the home straight when well back in the field. |
| Race 4 | Business Time At Stud Dash - C0 - 295 | JINGA SNAG (5) and TEPIRITA OKUKU (6) jostled for some distance shortly after the start. Shortly thereafter FANCY ACTION (4) and TEPIRITA OKUKU were buffeted and lost momentum when MAX BRAINSTRAIN (3) shifted outwards. Into the first bend ANOTHER RIDDLE (7) lost momentum when contacted from the outside by MOONLIGHT LAD (9). Shortly after TEPIRITA OKUKU made contact with ANOTHER RIDDLE resulting in both runners being unbalanced. Rounding the turn DALLAS BAXTER (1) checked across the heels of ROBBIE MCBELL (2) hampering MAX BRAINSTRAIN which was forced wider into the running of JINGA SNAG. |
| Race 5 | Garrard's Horse & Hound Canterbury Greyhound OTB Maiden Heat 1 - C0q - 520 Heat 1 | OPAWA LEIGH (5) was very slow to begin losing all chance. GOLDSTAR ARCHIE (3) checked off the heels of OPAWA TOMMO (2) shortly after the start. Passing the winning post on the first occasion OPAWA BUCKS EYE (4) was checked when tight to the inside of TATUM BAXTER (6) which shifted inwards. Into the first bend GOLDSTAR ARCHIE was hampered between OPAWA BUCKS EYE and OPAWA TOMMO when well back in the field. On entering the home straight JINJA PISTOL (8) shifted out across the heels of WITH PRIDE (7). |
| Race 6 | Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint - C1/2 - 295 | GOLDSTAR ROSIE (7), CAWBOURNE ROWAN (6) and ANOTHER GROOM (5) came together and jostled shortly after jumping. ANOTHER GROOM shifted inwards as a result and made firm contact with OHOKA HOPE (4) resulting in both runners being unbalanced. JAMAICAN ARCHIE was hampered in consequence. JAMAICAN ARCHIE and KNOW FAVOURS (8) came together into the first bend. SHADOW BAXTER (2) lost momentum when tightened rounding the bend. On entering the home straight SHADOW BAXTER checked across the heels of CAWBOURNE ROWAN losing ground as a result. |
| Race 7 | Garrard's Horse & Hound Canterbury Greyhound OTB Maiden Heat 2 - C0q - 520 Heat 2 | KENTARO BAXTER (7) and OPAWA RICHIE (8) were slow to begin. BELIEVE (9) shifted inwards after jumping and hampered OPAWA PEACHES (3) which was buffeted inwards onto OPAWA SPICE (2) which was unbalanced momentarily.CANDID ANGEL (5) and BELIEVE made firm contact shortly thereafter.Near the winning post on the first occasion OPAWA PEACHES was checked when tight to the inside of CANDID ANGEL which shifted inwards. Shortly thereafter KENTARO BAXTER was checked between OPAWA RICHIE and CANDID ANGEL .Into the back straight KENTARO BAXTER was further hampered when awkwardly placed on the heels of OPAWA SPICE. |
| Race 8 | Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C1/2 - 295 | The start of this event was delayed 1 minute on request of TAB control. HOMEBUSH CRASH (4) was slow to begin. BOSTON BILLY (5) shifted in on jumping and made firm contact with LIL DANNY RASCAL (3). FAIR CRUZIN (8) made firm contact with CHARLIE'S CHOICE (6) in the run to the first bend Into the first bend LIL DANNY RASCAL which had become awkwardly placed on the heels of CHARLIE'S CHOICE was badly unbalanced when BOSTON BILLY made firm contact from behind leaping on and over that runner. RUN FOR SOPHIE (7) was hampered in this incident being forced wider on the bend. STAND UP GIRL (1) made contact with MEMPHIS GIRL (2) with both runners being unbalanced for a short distance on entering the home straight. |

TIMELY REMINDER (1), SPINE CHILLING (3) and CRYSTAL FLAME (7) were all slow to begin. OPAWA CRUSADE (4) was unbalanced shortly after the start when contacted from behind by SHEERAN (2). CRYSTAL FLAME shifted inwards shortly after the start and made firm contact with SPINE CHILLING. Passing the winning post on the first occasion SHEERAN shifted outwards and forced CRYSTAL FLAME wider, TIMELY REMINDER was hampered in consequence. CRYSTAL FLAME and TIMELY REMINDER made firm contact shortly thereafter when well back in the field. TIMELY REMINDER and SHEERAN came together on entering the home straight. |

Shortly thereafter PATCHWORK ALICE was contacted from behind by OPAWA SHAY (3) and lost momentum. Rounding the bend PATCHWORK ALICE and HYDE BAXTER (4) came together. Into the home straight FIRST OFFICER (6) and KNOW THANKS made firm contact resulting in FIRST OFFICER being unbalanced for a short distance. FIRST OFFICER was found to have a cut just above its metacarpals which needed suturing. |
