Judicial report: (1) BADUZZI (J McInerney) completed a satisfactory trial as required by Rule 79. This trial was completed without blinkers and the dog will race in this state in its forthcoming engagements. ANOTHER WAY (J McInerney) also completed a satisfactory trial as required by Rule 80. (2) Handler M Kennedy was issued with a warning under Rule 72.9 after loading HOMEBUSH FINE into the wrong box prior to Race 4. Stewards took into account the fact that Mr Kennedy realised his own mistake and fixed this without delay.

Race 1	Otago First 4 Maiden Stakes - C0 - 545	The sisters CLOUDY NOIR (5) and SPRINGS ETERNAL (6) were the last pair to jump. OPAWA VAL (8) ran inwards tightening UNO MARGUERITE (7) which lost ground. OPAWA BUCKS EYE (4) and SPRINGS ETERNAL came together with a lap to run. SPRINGS ETERNAL and UNO MARGUERITE both ran wide around the first bend.
Race 2	St Kilda Veterinary Centre Stakes - C1 - 545	SAILORS COLLAR (3) ran outwards soon after the start badly tightening HOMEBUSH CORAL (4), FILANTE (5) and KNOW WORTH (6). SAILORS COLLAR and KNOW WORTH continued to race wide around the first bend. HOMEBUSH CORAL was checked on the first bend when racing to the outside of FILANTE. The pacemaking PUKEKO PROWLER (1) ran wide in the back straight.
Race 3	Robbie's Bar & Bistro Dunedin Sprint - C0 - 310	Prior to this race the track was downgraded to dead. FOXY BABE (4) bounded in the air on dispatch and settled at the rear along with APOLLO KING (7). FOXY BABE and NO TINKERBELLE (5) came together into the first bend. BRINDEE'S BRO (6) shifted up the track in the home straight pushing APOLLO KING wider.
Race 4	Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Sprint - C1 - 310	The start was delayed momentarily after handler M Kennedy placed HOMEBUSH FINE (7) in the wrong box before immediately realising and rectifying the error. Mr Kennedy was issued with a warning in this regard. GOING PRONTO (6) was last to jump. BELLA GRACE (4) was checked and lost ground into the bend as PUKEKO WARRIOR (2) ran outwards. On the home turn HARDEN FASTER (5) ran inwards on the home turn checking PUKEKO WARRIOR, GOING PRONTO and BELLA GRACE. GOING PRONTO hit the rail in this incident and was referred to the vet for assessment with no injury detected.
Race 5	Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Sprint - C2 - 310	Into the bend RICK'S TREASURE (3) and GOLDSTAR CHYNE (4) were both tightened as ANOTHER JEWEL (2) ran outwards simultaneously to FAIR CRUZIN (5) angling inwards. KYLA ROSE (7) was also badly inconvenienced in this incident. Following this event ROADWORKS (8) was found to have some shoulder soreness.
Race 6	St Kilda Veterinary Centre Sprint - C2 - 310	This race was delayed by one minute at the request of Raceday Control. CABARITA (4) ran inwards on dispatch tightening ANOTHER GROOM (3) and TERRA MONDO (2). Wider out MEMPHIS GIRL (7) and ANOTHER LIZ (8) ran inwards causing HOMEBUSH SPIKE (6) and FIREMANS GALAXY (5) to be checked and lose ground. On the home turn CABARITA and TELL THE BOYS (1) were checked when placed in restricted room as ANOTHER LIZ improved to their outside. MEMPHIS GIRL was held up for room on the home turn. In the straight HOMEBUSH SPIKE ran very wide. CABARITA was referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 7	www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C1 - 310	THUNDER DRAGON (2) and GLENN IS GOODSEY (3) were both slow to jump. PUKEKO THINDER (5) and ZIPPING JACOB (6) came together in the back straight. Into the bend ANOTHER KEY (7) contacted MAMALULU (4) for a stride and fell with SAL'S BABE (8) and ZIPPING JACOB both being badly checked in behind. PUKEKO THUNDER ran very wide in the home straight. ANOTHER KEY was checked and cleared by the vet post race.
Race 8	Green Island Barber Stakes - C1 - 545	LA KINKS (5) was very slow to jump with MOON AND SEA (7) also settling well back. Into the first bend MORNING GYPSY (3) ran outwards pushing MOON AND SEA and NINA BAXTER (8) wider on the track. MORNING GYPSY then became unbalanced and lost ground and its chance. MOON AND SEA was denied racing room on the home turn. MORNING GYPSY was referred to the vet for assessment with no abnormality detected.
Race 9	Bramwell Scaffolding Stakes - C2 - 545	PUKEKO BOLT (4) was tightened in the early stages dropping to the rear. OPAWA ROB (7) and AMBILIGHT (8) came together for a stride in the early stages. KNOW LAPSE (1) shifted outwards into the first bend pushing HOMEBUSH BUCK (2) and BIRCHBROOK (6) a touch wide. OPAWA KURU (3) shifted outwards into the first bend checking AMBILIGHT for a stride.
Race 10	Norwood Farm Machinery Mosgiel Stakes - C4 - 545	KAREN'S MAGIC (7) was last to jump. OPAWA DIESEL (5) ducked inwards and lost ground in the early stages after coming together with KNOW HERO (4). Into the first bend KNOW HERO checked outwards off the heels of KNOW JINX (3) pushing CULVIE MAGIC (6) wider on the track.
Race 11	Blasting and Coating Services Sprint - C3 - 310	KINLOCH ACTION (1), WRINKLES (2) and TOKEN ACE (7) were the last trio on jumping. WRINKLES was held up for clear racing room in the back straight. ADJUDICATOR (5) was checked into the bend losing ground with WRINKLES, ADJUDICATOR and TOKEN ACE all being inconvenienced.
Race 12	Speedprint Shop Dash - C4/5 - 310	This race was the subject of a slight delay due to a runner in the previous race being unable to be taken off the lure for some time. ZORBA THE GREEK (2) was last to jump. COLLECTING MONEY (7) lost ground in the early stages after jostling from BOTANY WIN (8) and CAWBOURNE JELLY (6).
Race 13	Racing Again Tuesday 18th August - C4 - 310	ANOTHER FORTUNE (2) and GOLDSTAR CHUMLEE (5) came together in the early stages. GOLDSTAR CHUMLEE was checked into the bend and lost ground with OPAWA IDOL (6) being inconvenienced. HOMEBUSH PAIGE (4) checked wide on the home turn.
