Judicial report: An inquiry was opened and adjourned after Trainer D.Edlin had been advised at recent meetings that her trousers did not comply with the NZGRA dress code and she had been instructed by the Stewards that on days when the weather did not necessitate the wearing of wet weather clothing, she would be expected to wear clothing more suited to the dress code. Today Ms Edllin again presented herself in the unacceptable trousers, in terms of the dress code and as a result, the Stewards will be seeking to refer the matter to the J.C.A. for adjudication.

Race 1	Formpro Ratings Free Every Monday C0 - C0 - 457	AGENT MICK began a little awkwardly and then bumped with DERECHO STORM and settled back. DARK GARNAH shifted in abruptly from the start and hampered CAWBOURNE STEPS which lost a length. DERECHO STORM shifted in going into the bend and checked FAT BOYZ FLYER which was racing adjacent to the rail and he lost three lengths and stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. CAWBOURNE STEPS was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request and found to have a hock injury.
Race 2	Greyhounds As Pets C0 - C0 - 375	JAZZ HILL, REPEAT VISIT and EVA'S STORM all began awkwardly and lost ground with REPEAT VISIT the slowest and he lost several lengths and all chance. JAZZ HILL clipped the heels of CHARRINA HILL on the bend and they both lost ground. A short distance further on, CHARRINA HILL was again checked and she went back to near last and never recovered.
Race 3	Grant Irvine Pharmacy C2 Heat 1 - C2q - 375 Heat 1	SEDGEBROOK MAGIC and SKINNY ANKLES were the slowest to begin losing a length. SEDGEBROOK MAGIC made up ground well to win the race but SKINNY ANKLES bumped together with EMBEE DEE and DOLL PARTS going into the bend and they lost three lengths and stayed well back.
Race 4	Brooks Timing C2 Heat 2 - C2q - 375 Heat 2	ONE BROKE GIRL shifted in from the start and hampered MAKING TIME and CAWBOURNE SARAH for a short distance. ALLEGRO BLAST and ONE BROKE GIRL shifted in going into the bend and HOMEBUSH GINGER racing on the rail was tightened and checked. A short distance further on HOMEBUSH GINGER was tightened between BOSTON LIGHTNING and BOTANY LIZ and she went back to last and stayed there to finish in last place. HOMEBUSH GINGER was referred to the Vet for assessment after receiving a very interrupted passage and was cleared of injury.
Race 5	Affordable Pet Accessories C3 - C3 - 375	BIGTIME REIGN and APOLLO bumped when the start was made and lost momentum briefly. IMPERSONATOR and WHEELIE CHILLIE became awkwardly positioned going into the bend and they were shuffled back to the rear. IMPERSONATOR recovered well to make up ground for 2nd placing. APOLLO checked over the heels of ANOTHER COVER going into the bend and shifted out bumping PURE LEE which was unbalanced and she lost ground and stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 6	Paul Claridge Electrical C1 - C1 - 375	NOMINAL LILY and TAMASKA were slow away from the traps and settled back. SEDGEBROOK BABE and KA PAI shifted ground and bumped soon after the start. A short distance further on, BOX OF FLUFFIES shifted in and set up a chain reaction of bumping which involved KA PAI, CAWBOURNE LEGS and VINNY DOON with CAWBOURNE LEGS the most affected and he settled at the rear. Going into the bend, CAWBOURNE LEGS raced onto the back of TAIKOREA LASS and they both lost ground and stayed back to finish in the last two places.
Race 7	Warehouse Stationery C1 - C1 - 375	ELUSIVE BABE and SPACE CAPTAIN were slow to begin losing two lengths. ELUSIVE BABE shifted out going into the first corner and checked BUZZY AS which lost three lengths and he never recovered and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 8	Manawatu Harness Racing Club C4 - C4 - 375	AYRA STARK and NEW THANG bumped together on jumping from the boxes and they were briefly unbalanced and settled back.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company Ltd C5 - C5 - 375	FASHION AND FAME shifted in abruptly from the start and caused checks to WHEELIE GOOD, CAESAR CHANCE and SPRING MAJOR which were all unbalanced and lost ground with WHEELIE GOOD the most affected and he went back to the rear. WHEELIE RASCAL shifted out going into the bend and checked over the heels of SPRING MAJOR and she continued to race wide covering extra ground and finished in last place.
Race 10	J P Print, Petone C1 - C1 - 457	SPIRIT RUN and CAWBOURNE CLAY bumped together soon after the start and CAWBOURNE CLAY settled two lengths last. LAGOON MAC shifted ground going into the bend and this resulted in SPIRIT RUN clipping heels and falling. CAWBOURNE CLAY which was following was unable to avoid SPIRIT RUN and suffered interferance and lost ground. SPIRIT RUN regained her feet and finished onto the lure, was referred to the vet for assessment and found to have bruising over the right gluteal muscle.
Race 11	Personal Protective Services C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	MALAKAI MAGIC, ARCHI BALE and BRISEUR DE REVES dwelt at the start losing two lengths. OPAWA TOM was checked on the bend and went back onto MALAKAI MAGIC which lost three lengths and he never recovered and finished in 2nd last place. OPAWA TOM made up ground well after being checked and finished in 2nd place and was referred to the Vet and found to have a split webbing
Race 12	Shakey Jakey at Rocky Ridge C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	THOU ROMEO shifted in abruptly soon after the start and forced VEGAS DANNY in onto the line of COSMIC SCRAMBLE which was crowded and eventually checked back to near the rear. COSMIC SCRAMBLE then shifted out to race wide into the bend covering extra ground.
