Track: Good The track was presented in good order and was well maintained throughout the day and the meeting proceeded smoothly and concluded on time.

Judicial report: KERRY LANE, an entrant in race 12 today was stood down for 10 days at Palmerston North on 27.07.15 with injuries to hip support and gracilis muscles. However, under the provisions of Rule 81.5, KERRY LANE was presented to the Vet today, was cleared of injury and the stand down imposed was rescinded and the bitch took her place in the field in race 12.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305	REPEAT VISIT was very slow from the boxes losing several lengths and he stayed back throughout to finish in 7th place. CONSUMATE EASE shifted in and crowded PISTOL PRINCESS going into the first turn and PISTOL PRINCESS resisted and became unbalanced and shifted out causing checks to EVA'S STORM and KILIMANJARO and they were forced wide into the bend over extra ground. PISTOL PRINCESS then recovered and ran on well to finish in 4th place.
Race 2	HARRISON HIRE MASTER C0 - C0 - 305	GULLY CRUSHER shifted in from the start and caused checks to SPRITE ON TIME and DERECHO STORM and they lost ground and settled back. DERECHO STORM recovered well to make up ground for 3rd placing. CASUAL SIPPER shifted out soon after the start and hampered TERRA WAY for a short distance and she was unbalanced briefly and settled in the rear group but made up ground to finish in 4th place.
Race 3	WWW.RACINGTIPS.CO.NZ C0 - C0 - 305	PROMISES MAID began awkwardly losing three lengths and she stayed back throughout the race. GULLY YAPPA was also slow away from the traps but made up ground to finish in 4th place. WAERENGA STAR shifted in abruptly from the start and crowded NUI MAGIC and MAGIC DANDY for a short distance. MAGIC DANDY was in the leading group going to the first corner but then drifted back through the field and finished in 7th place and was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared in injury.
Race 4	J P PRINT (PETONE) C1 - C1 - 305	FAIR TRADING was very slow to begin losing four lengths and she stayed back throughout. BOX OF FLUFFIES and OPEHU FLYER both shifted ground and bumped from the start and BOX OF FLUFFIES lost ground. BOX OF FLUFFIES then lost further ground on the bend when racing onto the heels of AZURE DREAMS.
Race 5	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305	MAD MUSIC shifted out from the start and crowded VENGA GUAPA and PEEJAYS PRINGLES which were both hampered for a short distance. VENGA GUAPA was awkwardly placed on the heels of FORTIS LION going into the bend and was checked and fell but regained her feet and finished onto the lure. VENGA GUAPA was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. PEEJAY PRINGLES and CAWBOURNE SHADOW were severely hampered in the incident and they finished at the rear.
Race 6	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305	WORKING PIZZAZ checked off the heels of CAWBOURNE TIP going into the bend and went back onto HOMEBUSH BUTTON and they both lost ground and stayed back to finish in the rear group.
Race 7	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C1 Ht1 - C1q - 520 Heat 1	CAWBOURNE CLAY and I'M A CATCH were tightened between runners going to the first corner and were shuffled back through the field to the rear. SUE SEWS SOCKS was handily positioned going into the back straight but was checked and went back to the rear and never recovered the lost ground.
Race 8	AOP CPF C1 Ht2 - C1q - 520 Heat 2	PROCRASTINATION was a little slow to begin and settled back. HEART YOU shifted in entering the back straight and caused checks to ACAPELLA and WALL AGE and they lost three lengths but recovered to make up ground and finished in 3rd and 4th places.
Race 9	FIRST SECURITY C1 Ht3 - C1q - 520 Heat 3	SHERIFF ROSCOE was the slowest to begin losing two lengths but he made up ground to finish in 4th place. One of the favourites LOO LOO BLUE settled back in the field and although having every opportunity, she was not able to make up ground and finished in 2nd last place. It was her first start for 7 weeks.
Race 10	INDULGE SKIN SPA WANGANUI C1 Ht4 - C1q - 520 Heat 4	ADDA BOY ZEKE, MERCEDES GOLD and RATTLESNAKE JAKE were slow to begin and settled back. MERCEDES GOLD shifted in going into the back straight and caused a check to RATTLESNAKE JAKE which went back onto ADDA BOY ZEKE and they lost three lengths and never recovered.
Race 11	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 305	MCJOPSON shifted ground out going to the first corner and caused a check to DO MORE which went back to the rear and he stayed there for the remainder of the race.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 305	ELUSIVE BABE was slow to leave the boxes and lost three lengths. OPPORTUNIST and SHE'S SMASHING jostled together for some distance going to the first corner and both were briefly unbalanced. HOMEBUSH STEW shifted out slightly going into the bend and brushed with SHE'S SMASHING which was unbalanced and ran wide into the bend covering extra ground.
