| Race 1 | Greyhound Function Centre Sprint - C3 - 318 | ATOONGA AIR (2) and EZ FERETTI (5) were slow away. Soon after the start CYCLONE LUSI (1) shifted out making contact with LOLA'S QUEST (3) who was inconvenienced. CYCLONE LUSI then continued to shift out into the line of MULTICAM LAD (4) who got on this runners heels for a stride becoming unbalanced then shifting in making solid contact with LOLA'S QUEST with both runners unbalanced and LOLA'S QUEST shifting in inconveniencing EZ FERETTI for a stride. EZ FERETTI then came together with LOLA'S QUEST who lost ground. CYCLONE LUSI and SOMETIME SOON (7) collided racing toward the first turn. Entering the first bend SOMETIME SOON, CYCLONE LUSI and ATOONGA AIR came together with ROCKIN' FANCY (6) shifting in making contact with the hindquarters of SOMETIME SOON becoming unbalanced then making contact with DIPSY LALA (8). DIPSY LALA and ROCKIN' FANCY then raced wide for a distance. Rounding the final bend EZ FERETTI shifted out making contact with CYCLONE LUSI who came together with SOMETIME SOON. CYCLONE LUSI and LOLA'S QUEST made contact entering the final straight. |
| Race 2 | Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C0 - 318 | BRITNEY STAR (1), ATOMIC LASS (2), CONSUMATE EASE (3) and CASUAL SLIPPER (7) were slightly slow away. JETSUN DESIRE (5) and WAERENGA STAR (6) came together and jostled for a distance racing down the back straight with these runners becoming unbalanced entering the first turn losing ground inconveniencing BRITNEY STAR and checking EVA KANEVA (8), who made contact with the hindquarters of WARENGA STAR shifting out, and CASUAL SLIPPER who became awkwardly placed on the heels of JETSUN DESIRE losing considerable ground. Rounding the bend ATOMIC LASS was tightened and checked losing ground after becoming awkwardly placed to the inside of WAERENGA STAR. WAERENGA STAR was momentarily inconvenienced in the final straight when EVA KANEVA shifted in. |
| Race 3 | MTA Gift Vouchers Stakes - C2 - 527 | ELEPHANT TRUNK (4), UNCLE ROMILLY (6) and JEESE PINKMAN (8) were last to leave the boxes. UNCLE ROMILLY had to steady for a stride soon after the start when MRS. PUNTING (7) angled in. WINSOME DAN (3), MRS. PUNTING and UNCLE ROMILLY came together entering the first turn with these runners all becoming badly unbalanced. Inconvenienced as a result was RAMAH REASON (5) who shifted out to avoid these runners then raced wide for a distance. UNCLE ROMILLY and MRS. PUNTING came together again rounding the first bend. Rounding the bend leaving the back straight, when racing at the rear of the field, UNCLE ROMILLY got on the heels of MRS. PUNTING becoming briefly unbalanced losing ground. |
| Race 4 | AGRC Rewards Sprint - C1 - 318 | GULLY RUNNER (6) jumped in the air as the boxes opened losing considerable ground. LEGATO BAY (7) angled in soon after the start making solid contact with the hindquarters of PERCENTAGE GIRL (5) who was unbalanced. Racing into the first turn BOTANY HOT SHOT (2) shifted in momentarily inconveniencing LEGATO BAY who steadied for a stride. |
| Race 5 | Carol's TAB Sprint - C4 - 318 | Entering the first turn LITTLE RASCAL (8) made contact with the hindquarters of PRAIRIE KACHINA (4) with these runners both becoming unbalanced with LITTLE RASCAL stumbling badly going back making solid contact with BIG JAMESY (7) who was hampered then coming together with MISS VELOCETTE (6) who was also hampered with LITTLE RASCAL losing considerable ground and its chance as a result. Also inconvenienced losing ground as a result was SACRED CAN YOU (3). ARMISTICE DAY (1) had to steady entering the first turn when awkwardly placed to the inside of CRACKLES APPEAL (2) who shifted in slightly. LITTLE RASCAL was referred to the veterinarian following this event which revealed no abnormality. |
| Race 6 | Sel's TAB Mangere Stakes - C1 - 527 | MR. DARCI (1) and CAWBOURNE ROMAN (6) were last to leave the boxes. COME ON MICKEY (2) and EVEN SEVEN (4) came together soon after the start with COME ON MICKEY shifting in momentarily inconveniencing MR. DARCI. Entering the first turn COLD TURKEY (8) shifted in inconveniencing REGAZZA GINA (3) who lost ground. Rounding the first turn MR. DARCI made contact with the hindquarters of COME ON MICKEY. At the same time REGAZZA GINA came together with MR. DARCI and EVEN SEVEN with REGAZZA GINA and EVEN SEVEN losing ground going back onto CAWBOURNE ROMAN who was inconvenienced. MR. DARCI and COME ON MICKEY came together and jostled for a distance rounding the final bend. |
| Race 7 | $50,000 Terminating Pick6 Sprint - C2 - 318 | Soon after the start WILD FALCON (5) shifted in making contact with FRANKINCENSE (4) who became badly unbalanced then stumbled losing considerable ground. MADE TIME (3) and FORTIS FIONA (6) came together and jostled for a distance racing toward the first turn with these runners becoming unbalanced with FORTIS FIONA then also making contact with ASTA (2) losing ground. |
| Race 8 | Our Heisenberg - Sunline Trophy Stakes - C1 - 527 | There was a two minute delay to the start of this race when there was a mechanical failure with the lure. The dogs were removed from the boxes and examined by the veterinarian and were all cleared fit to race. The lure was tested to satisfaction prior to this event. ARTIC ROUGE (8) began awkwardly losing ground. FOUND ROMAN (3) and HELL FIRE (9) came together racing toward the first turn losing momentum, inconvenienced as a result was HERSCHKE (2). PROCRASTINATION (4) and OPAWA PEARL (6) came together rounding the first turn with both runners momentarily unbalanced. Entering the back straight, when racing at the rear of the field, HELL FIRE had to check losing ground when awkwardly placed to the inside of HERSCHKE. |
| Race 9 | Group 2 NZ Sires Produce Final - R/Af - 527 | KNOW LAPSE (5) and KNOW MENTION (7) were slow away. MOCKINGJAY (6) shifted in soon after the start making contact with LUCKY MAN (4). KNOW MENTION was briefly inconvenienced entering the first turn when DON DRAPER (8) angled in in front of this runner. SHARELLA (3) and LUCKY MAN (4) made contact entering the first bend. Rounding the first turn METHOD MAN (1) and LET'S GO LETTIE (2) came together with both runners becoming unbalanced losing ground with MOCKINGJAY then making contact with the hindquarters of LET'S GO LETTIE also losing ground as a result. Entering the bend leaving the back straight DON DRAPER shifted in across the heels of SHARELLA inconveniencing LUCKY MAN who was checked losing ground. |
| Race 10 | Plasterboard Ltd Stakes - C3/4 - 527 | RUBY MURRAY (5) was slow away. GOOD RETURN (1) began awkwardly losing ground. Racing into the first turn GOOD RETURN made solid contact with the hindquarters of KNOW AMBITION (2) who was unbalanced shifting out inconveniencing JETSUN QUAKER (7) and BLOO BLOOMERS. Rounding the first bend KNOW AMBITION was tightened coming together with GOOD RETURN and JETSUN QUAKER becoming unbalanced shifting out hampering JETSUN QUAKER and BLOO BLOOMERS with KNOW AMBITION and JETSUN QUAKER losing considerable ground. Rounding the final bend BLOO BLOOMERS (8) shifted in inconveniencing RUBY MURRAY who had to shift out off this runners heels. |
| Race 11 | Lochinvar Marlow Sprint - C5f - 318 | Soon after the start CALL ME BLUE (9) collided with MACJAM with these runners then making contact on several occasions racing down the back straight. Racing toward the first turn JAY LOW (4) made contact with the hindquarters of LOOKS ALL GOOD (3) with both runners badly unbalanced with JAY LOW then coming together with HULA MOOLA (8) who was also badly unbalanced with these runners losing ground. As a result CALL ME BLUE got on the heels of these runners becoming unbalanced shifting out hampering MACJAM with these runners losing considerable ground and their chances. LOOKS ALL GOOD and JAY LOW then came together again rounding the bend shifting out further hampering HULA MOOLA. Also inconvenienced as a result was FRESCO STAR (7). |
| Race 12 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C4 - 318 | DRURY (3), MANYANA GROPER (5) and SANDOR GLEGANE (8) were last to leave the boxes. Entering the first turn SANDOR GLEGANE (8) got on the heels of CAWBOURNE KIWI (2) who was unbalanced losing ground. Briefly inconvenienced as a result was MANYANA GROPER. CAWBOURNE KIWI then continued to give ground shifting wide rounding the final bend finishing some distance from the field. A post race veterinary examination of CAWBOURNE KIWI revealed no abnormality. |
