Judicial report: 1. WRINKLES (Race 5) was declared a late scratching on veterinary advice after being found to have a tibia injury when being presented for kenneling. 2. Co-Trainer B Evans and kennel steward R Herbert admitted a breach of rule 87.1(o) in that they failed to ensure that the correct number cloth was placed on GOLDSTAR CHUMLEE prior to the running of race 6, with this opened and adjourned sine die. 3. Trainer C Roberts was fined $50.00 under the Minor Infringements Table after JESSIE SURFS was without a catcher at the conclusion of Race 10.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C3 - 295	HOMEBUSH ERROL was slow to begin and settled at the rear of the field. IMPERSONATOR ran inwards entering the bend crowding RUN FOR SOPHIE which came back onto the trailing MAY MAY LAST and GOLDSTAR MAGIC, both of which were hampered, losing ground.
Race 2	Kolorful Kanvas Dash - C3 - 295	HERSHY PIE, HOMEBUSH ARIEL and CHARLIE'S CHOICE were hampered shortly after the start when racing to the inside of CRONK WENT PLONK which ran inwards abruptly. HERSHY PIE ran wide when checking outwards off the heels of CHARLIE'S CHOICE and HOMEBUSH ARIEL rounding the bend. CRONK WENT PLONK was crowded rounding the bend between GOLDSTAR BOMBER and TOKEN ACE which ran inwards.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Dash - C4 - 295	LOOK AT LUCY stumbled leaving the boxes, losing several lengths. CHOKEHOLD ran inwards through the early stages jostling with BACKCHAT HARRY for a short distance. CAWBOURNE DANIAL shifted outwards entering the bend contacting the hindquarters of BACKCHAT HARRY which was unbalanced, losing ground. LOOK AT LUCY had to check outwards across the heels of BACKCHAT HARRY rounding the bend when improving up onto that runners heels.
Race 4	Power Farming Canterbury Stakes - C3 - 520	OPAWA KENDAL and KNOW JINX collided shortly after the start with both runners becoming unbalanced. BRISEUR DE REVES ran wide rounding the first bend.
Race 5	David Emerson Consultancy Dash - C3 - 295	NEDDY SEAGOON and KNOW FAVOURS were the last to leave the boxes. GIGANAIRE raced in restricted room approaching the bend, checking outwards off the heels of ON THE LEVEL and into the line of RICK'S TREASURE which was hampered. Entering the final straight, LITTLE MIDNIGHT contacted the hindquarters of ON THE LEVEL resulting in that runner becoming severely unbalanced, losing considerable ground. ON THE LEVEL was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon following the event which revealed a torn biceps muscle, with a 28 day stand-down imposed.
Race 6	I Pave Concrete Dash - C4/5 - 295	The start of this race was slightly delayed due to GOLDSTAR CHUMLEE being presented with the incorrect number cloth, with this being rectified prior to the start. RAMBUNCTIOUS made the bend awkwardly and contacted the running rail, losing ground. RAMBUNCTIOUS was examined and cleared by the Veterinary Surgeon following the event.
Race 7	Christchurch Casino Stakes - C4 - 520	ANDREA, ALBIE JAY and TINA came together and bumped shortly after the start. OPAWA MICHELLE ran inwards in the early stages colliding with JEWEL EAGLE which was unbalanced. ALBIE JAY was tightened for room entering the first bend between KNOW HERO and ANDREA which ran inwards. ALBIE JAY then ran inwards crowding JEWEL EAGLE which lost ground. OPAWA MICHELLE clipped the heel of ANDREA entering the final bend, losing several lengths.
Race 8	Carol's T.A.B. Sprint - C4/5 - 295	JINJA LOCH and NO LEAF CLOVER came together and bumped leaving the boxes, with both runners becoming momentarily unbalanced. WHEELCHAIR NORM ran inwards shortly after the start contacting the hindquarters of SMASH THAT and PAPERBOND. NO LEAF CLOVER and PAPERBOND jostled for a distance along the back straight when crowded for room between JINJA LOCH and KNOW KNOWING which ran inwards. This resulted in the trailing WHEELCHAIR NORM becoming awkwardly placed near the heels of PAPERBOND, losing ground. Entering the home straight, JINJA LOCH ran outwards abruptly across the heels of WHEELCHAIR NORM, resulting in NO LEAF CLOVER being pushed wider on the track.
Race 9	Shirley Vet Clinic Distance Feature - C1d - 645	CHILL OUT RALPH was slow to begin. KNOW AMBITION and KAREN'S MAGIC raced in restricted room entering the first bend. GOLDSTAR JUNIOR ran inwards rounding the first bend resulting in OPAWA TANIA becoming awkwardly placed near that runners heels. Passing the winning post on the first occasion ELEPHANT GUNN checked outwards across the heels of KINLOCH POWER, losing momentum. KINLOCH POWER was tightened for room entering the home straight when racing in tight quarters between KNOW AMBITION and OPAWA TANIA.
Race 10	Mac Developments Stakes - C4/5 - 520	FLYING AMELIA and JESSIE SURFS came together and bumped through the early stages, with FLYING AMELIA becoming unbalanced. Rounding the first bend, HOMEBUSH HOWARD contacted the heels of CALINDA GIRL which lost its footing and was dragged down. As a result HOMEBUSH HOWARD and DREAM COLLECTOR which trailed were unable to avoid the heels of CALINDA GIRL being severely hampered, losing ground. CALINDA GIRL was examined and cleared by the Veterinary Surgeon following the event.
Race 11	C.T.V. Sprint - C4/5 - 295	HOMEBUSH ROCKY was crowded leaving the boxes between CAMSIDE GOLD and SHADOW APACHE which ran inwards. SHADOW APACHE continued to run inwards through the early stages forcing CAMSIDE GOLD into the line of BUMP and STAR DREAMER, both of which were hampered. STAR DREAMER ran wide rounding the bend.
Race 12	Protexin Sprint - C4 - 295	UNRELIABLE ANDY was tightened for room approaching the bend when racing to the inside of RICK'S TERRA which ran inwards.
