Judicial report: 1) Trainer K Cassidy was fined $50.00 as per the Minor Infringements Table after admitting a breach of Rule 68.6 the details being that he was late to kennel MULBERRY BROOK for Race 5. 2) LONG STOCKINGS (A Bradshaw) was stood down for 28 days under Rule 79.1.b.after failing to pursue the lure during Race 9.

Race 1	Protexin Stakes Heat 1 - C1q - 520 Heat 1	MC LOVIN' (8) was last to jump with TILT (3) also settling well back. Tightening from outside runners caused OPAWA SHILOH (5), TILT and PINDARI (1) to all lose ground into the first bend.
Race 2	The Turf Bar Sprint - C1 - 295	BELFAST EEJIT (8) was last to jump. HOMEBUSH FINE (5) stumbled for a stride in the back straight after colliding with MOP HEAD (4). BHUJA (9) then ran inwards pushing HOMEBUSH FINE down to the rail with this runner hitting the rail and dropping to a clear last. HOMEBUSH FINE was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have a groin strain. BIZARRO (3) was also referred to the vet and found to have lost a toenail.
Race 3	Protexin Stakes Heat 2 - C1q - 520 Heat 2	IDOL LEANNE (7) was last to jump. MOBILIZE (2) ran outwards in the early stages as JINJA JAFFA (4) angled inwards with GOLDSTAR COCO (3) being placed in restricted room and losing ground as a result. MOBILIZE was badly checked into the first bend as outside runners angled inwards. IDOL LEANNE was also checked and ran wide in consequence. On the first bend MOBILIZE angled outwards a shade and contacted UNOVA BALE (5) which in turn collided with OPAWA GRUNTER (6) with this runner being dragged down and losing its chance. IDOL LEANNE was unable to avoid these runners and was badly checked having its chance extinguished at this point. KNOW WORTH (8) raced wide throughout. OPAWA GRUNTER was referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury. GOLDSTAR COCO fell at the lure with a post race veterinary check revealing wrist soreness.
Race 4	Active Electrical Christchurch Dash - C1 - 295	KNOW CONTEST (1) and VITO BAXTER (3) were the last pair to jump. BRANDISH (4) ran outwards in the early stages placing JAMAICAN ARCHIE (5) and PETRA HAKA (6) in restricted room. KNOW CONTEST angled outwards when improving into the bend forcing HOMEBUSH FLYTE (7) wider on the track. This in turn caused JAMAICAN ARCHIE to check outwards with EUG THE SCROOGE (8) being forced extremely wide. BRANDISH shifted up the track on the home turn pushing HOMEBUSH FLYTE over extra ground. Early in the run home HOMEBUSH FLYTE ran inwards and was dragged down by JAMAICAN ARCHIE with this pair losing ground. HOMEBUSH FLYTE was referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 5	Super Pets Sprint - C1 - 295	MULBERRY BROOK (8) was a clear last on jumping. FIREMANS GALAXY (4) angled outwards in the early stages checking WOOLY WHATSIT (5) and SALLY (6). FIREMANS GALAXY then angled down the track dictating the line of LAUDABLE (3) to the inside. MULBERRY BROOK ran wide on the bend.
Race 6	Protexin Stakes Heat 3 - C1q - 520 Heat 3	CAWBOURNE ALPHA (6) ran inwards in the early stages tightening JEWEL APACHE (9) and coming together with LAGOON VICTORY (4) and TECHNIC (3). CAWBOURNE ALPHA then lost ground into the first bend when placed in restricted room as JEWEL APACHE improved to its outside with JEWEL APACHE also receiving a slight check at this stage. TECHNIC was badly tightened soon after and lost ground. KNOW SCHOLAR (1) was checked on the first bend and ran outwards checking TECHNIC in the process. JEWEL APACHE and CAWBOURNE ALPHA both raced wide in the back straight. UNO SHAY (2) was shifted wider on the home turn as kennelmate BLUSHING BELLE (7) improved quickly to its inside.
Race 7	Barron's Supplies Dash - C1 - 295	LACHIE JEWEL (4) was a clear last on jumping. LACHIE JEWEL dropped right out into the bend finishing a distant last. This dog was referred to the vet for assessment and found to have a torn hip support. SHEZA GAMBLE (8) angled inwards in the early stages tightening CAWBOURNE DOZER (7) and MARTY MCMOTH (6). SHEZA GAMBLE ran inwards on the bend checking MARTY MCMOTH which lost ground.
Race 8	Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint - C1 - 295	CULVIE GODFATHER (3), HAYLEY JAMES (4) and MIDNIGHT SPRITE (6) were the last trio on settling. OPAWA GOODIE (5) ran inwards in the back straight hampering HAYLEY JAMES, MIDNIGHT SPRITE and CULVIE GODFATHER. ROSA GALLICA (2) lost ground into the bend with the trailing CULVIE GODFATHER, MIDNIGHT SPRITE and HAYLEY JAMES all being inconvenienced. ROSA GALLICA was checked by the vet post race and found to be free of injury with the connections being advised that an improved performance would be expected at its next start.
Race 9	Protexin Stakes Heat 4 - C1q - 520 Heat 4	FLIP FLIPPA (10) was a late scratching at 9.30am when found to be in season. SUSAN JEWEL (5) and COME ON DOLLY (7) were the last pair to jump. OPAWA EXTREME (2) ran outwards in the early stages checking KNOW LAPSE (4). COME ON DOLLY ran wide on the first bend. KNOW LAPSE and LONG STOCKINGS (8) bumped for a stride on the bend. Early in the run home LONG STOCKINGS turned its head outwards towards KNOW LAPSE when free of interference. LONG STOCKINGS was checked and cleared of injury by the veterinary surgeon. Stewards stood down LONG STOCKINGS for 28 days under Rule 79.1.b. for failing to pursue the lure. The bitch must also complete a satisfactory trial before resuming.
Race 10	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C1 - 295	CANDYBOY (2) was last to jump. CANDYBOY was then checked into the bend after running outwards and colliding with SACAJAWEA (6). GOLDSTAR MARIO (9) ran wide into the bend. SUMMER LOVE (1) shifted out off heels on the home turn pushing SACAJAWEA wider on the track. CANDYBOY ran wide in the home straight.
Race 11	Business Time At Stud Sprint - C1 - 295	TOO MUCH REBEL (7) was a clear last at the jump. SPARROW (6) and MR. NOVEMBER (5) were checked in the early stages and lost ground after SHAKAYLA ROSE (8) ran inwards and made solid contact with the pair. TOO MUCH REBEL and SHAKAYLA ROSE came together on several occasions on the home turn with TOO MUCH REBEL being dragged down for a stride. TOO MUCH REBEL and SHAKAYLA ROSE were both referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of any abnormalities.
Race 12	C.T.V. Dash - C1 - 295	SAL'S BABE (3) was slow to jump. TULIP MUNCHER (2) ran sharply inwards on dispatch checking KNOW VALUE (1) which got back as a result. LIGNITE GIRL (6) was checked into the bend when racing in tight quarters with this bitch then running outwards pushing THAT'S A WRAP (5) wider on the track. TOKEN JUMP (7) ran wide on the home turn.
