| Race 1 | Super Pets Dash - C0 - 295 | PASS WITH CARE (6) was buffeted at the start when PACIFIC VIBE (7) looked to rail hard from the boxes . LUCAS SCOTT (3) lost ground racing into the first bend when tight to the inside of ANOTHER RUSS (4) which shifted inwards. LICK IT UP (1) was buffeted on a number of occasions rounding the bend when racing tight to the inside of HUMAN INSTINCT (5). PASS WITH CARE and WHAT A PARTY (8) came together on entering the home straight when well back in the field. HUMAN INSTINCT and PACIFIC VIBE came together early in the home straight making firm contact on a number of occasions resulting in both runners being unbalanced momentarily. |
| Race 2 | Happy Birthday Denise Barron Sprint - C0 - 295 | Both MAIA BAXTER (7) and HURRICANE SANDY (4) were buffeted in the early stages. MAIA BAXTER lost momentum into the first turn when contacted from behind from by ANOTHER RIDDLE (3). Rounding the bend MANDI MAE (1) checked and lost ground when awkwardly placed on the heels of GRAYSON BLUE (6). JOEY BAXTER (8) was hampered in consequence .BADUZZI (2) and GRAYSON BLUE made contact early in the home straight. BADUZZI turned its head and eased over the concluding stages. BADUZZI was referred to the club veterinarian for assessment and found to be free of injury. After considering submissions from J McInerney jnr Stewards stood BADUZZI down for 28 days under Rule 79.1.b for failing to pursue the lure with the completion of a satisfactory trial prior to racing next. |
| Race 3 | Glenbyre Tavern Stakes - C0 - 520 | OAK SPUR (6) was buffeted between NINA BAXTER (5) and UNO BRENT (7) for some distance after the start . Into the first turn PRIVATE ACTION (4) became awkwardly placed on the heels of GOLDSTAR PO (1) and came back into the running line of CAWBOURNE KITT (3) which had to check across heels and lost ground. On entering the home straight PRIVATE ACTION and UNO BRENT came together and were unbalanced momentarily. |
| Race 4 | Amber Cleaning Services Dash - C0 - 295 | CHIEF BAXTER (5) was slow to begin. Rounding the bend JINJA TILLY (1) was contacted from behind by CAWBOURNE DOZER (2) and was unbalanced shifting wider on the track forcing PRINCELY COUNT (3) over extra ground. SOME EXCITMENT (8) raced wide rounding the bend. |
| Race 5 | Business Time At Stud Stakes - C1 - 520 | SUSAN JEWEL (7) was slow to begin.Shortly after the start VITO BAXTER (4) was buffeted and lost ground when OPAWA GRUNTER (5) shifted inwards. CHAIMBO (3) was unbalanced in consequence. Passing the winning post on the first occasion both OPAWA EXTREME (2) and CHAIMBO were hampered and lost momentum when VITO BAXTER shifted inwards towards the running line. |
| Race 6 | Hurunui Tavern Sprint - C0 - 295 | Racing into the first turn SHANE MCBELL (6) and WHERES CANDY (3) made firm contact and jostled for a distance.WHERES CANDY shifted outwards rounding the turn and hampered SHANE MCBELL.Shortly thereafter KENTARO BAXTER (2) became awkwardly placed on the heels of SHANE MCBELL and checked outwards losing momentum. |
| Race 7 | Greyhounds As Pets Stakes - C2 - 520 | HOMEBUSH BUCK (8) and OPAWA TOM (9) were both slow to begin. Shortly after the start KNOW ANSWER (5) was hampered momentarily when STICH UP (4) shifted ground outwards. Approaching the winning post on the first occasion CAWBOURNE KENNY (7) shifted inwards and hampered both RUN ZOLA (6) and KNOW ANSWER. Shortly thereafter KNOW ANSWER shifted outwards off the heels of CAWBOURNE KENNY and unbalanced both RUN ZOLA and HOMEBUSH BUCK. These runners came together again rounding the bend. On entering the home straight KNOW ANSWER and CAWBOURNE KENNY made firm contact. |
| Race 8 | Coalgate Tavern Sprint - C2 - 295 | KNOW SALUTE (6) and TOKEN ACE (7) came together shortly after jumping. On entering the home straight KNOW SALUTE was unbalanced momentarily when contacted from the inside by BLAZING HOT (3). |
| Race 9 | Clarkson Sign Studio Dash - C2 - 295 | ILABB (5) shifted in on jumping and made firm contact with FLYING SWAN (4) . FLYING SWAN and ILABB jostled for some distance there after.JACK'S A JEWEL (6) was hampered in consequence. Approaching the first turn NOT SO CUTE (2) was contacted from the inside by BUSINESS REVIEW (1). Racing into the first turn CEC DIVINE (3) clipped the heels of NOT SO CUTE and fell. CEC DIVINE was referred to the club veterinarian and cleared of injury. |
| Race 10 | Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C2 - 520 | BOSTON BILLY (8) was slow to begin. Shortly after the start MEGA SURGE (1) and KNOW JINX (2) jostled for some distance. AMBILIGHT (6) tightened KINLOCH POWER (4) shortly thereafter resulting in LAGOON TWIST (9) being hampered and losing ground. Passing the winning post on the first occasion KINLOCH POWER made firm contact with OPAWA KURU (5) which was unbalanced .OPAWA KURU shifted inwards whilst unbalanced and hampered both KINLOCH POWER and MEGA SURGE. MEGA SURGE and KINLOCH POWER made firm contact rounding the first bend. |
| Race 11 | Islington Tavern Sprint - C2 - 295 | OUTBACK BILL (6) was hampered shortly after the start and got back. EARN ME SOME (3) and SHOWROOM (2) made firm contact for a distance when tight to the inside of UMAGA RAMA (4) which shifted inwards .As a result UMAGA RAMA continued on an inward movement and lost momentum and ground into the first turn. UMAGA RAMA and LIL DANNY RASCAL(8) made firm contact on the turn resulting in LIL DANNY RASCAL being unbalanced . Rounding the bend SHOWROOM checked outwards off the heels of RAINCHECK (5). |
