Judicial report: MELHAM ( K Walsh ) completed a re-qualifying trial per rule 80.1
Race 2 The Stewards requested a 2 minute delay from Race Day Control due to a minor problem with the lids at the 375m start ,this attended to with no further problems .
Handler J Lowen & Starter G Sharp were reminded of their obligations at the start after J Lowen was observed to walk up and stand beside the boxes as the lure travelled to the start of race 7

Race 1	0800 4 Down Cow Sprint - C1 - 375	THRILLING ORLA was away well from box 1 in the early rush , she was tightened for room racing in to the first bend losing ground back past midfield. Racing across the top bend WALTER MITTY checked out off heels running in to THRILLING BRAVE who was widest out at this point. Nearing the home turn JACK ROB angled between runners bumping in to OPAWA PEARL turning this dog sideways for a stride or so, both runners lost moment and ground finishing in the rear at the line.
Race 2	YGOT Bonus Scheme Sprint - C0 - 375	This race was delayed 2 minutes at the request of the Stewards due to a minor adjustment needed with the lids. ROCK LASS ( fav ) 1st NZ start was very awkwardly away from box 7 by 6 or more lengths , ROCK LASS was forced to race wide when making ground across the top bend finishing strongly in the run home to finish in to 3rd placing at the line. PODIUM BONUS was lame on pulling up to the lure and referred to the vet for assessment where she was found to have swelling over the right fore metacarpal.
Race 3	Image Apparel Sprint - C1 - 375	In the run in to the first bend CONTEMPERANEOUS and TENNESSEE SMILE came together ,TENNESSEE SMILE went back a couple of lengths ,soon after TENNESSEE SMILE checked out off the heels of EVEN SEVEN.
Race 4	MTA Gift Vouchers Sprint - C2 - 375	Racing down to the first bend FORTIS FIONA raced across forcing HASHTAG JOSH ( fav ) inwards on to MELMAN, MOCKIING JAY and ADDICTED , severely tightening these runners, HASHTAG JOSH , MOCKING JAY and ADDICTED were checked back towards the rear ,MELMAN lost a length but recovered to finish on strongly in the concluding stages for 2nd placing at the line.
Race 5	DogZone Sprint - C1 - 375	Racing to the first bend ZIPPING TAY angled across forcing VIKING CRUISER in on to MYRNIONG GIRL who was tightened and went back on to THRILLING FOREST who made contact with the rail dropping back to several lengths last in the running. MYRNIONG GIRL and THRILLING FOREST were observed to be uncomfortable there after finishing in the rear at the line and were referred to the vet for assessment where both dogs were cleared of injury.
Race 6	$10k Guaranteed Triple Trio Sprint - C3 - 375
Race 7	Palamountains Nutrition Stakes - C1 - 457	CIRCLE OF GOLD ran wide on to the top bend and raced widest there after finishing in the rear at the line.
Race 8	Box1 Gold Sprint - C3/4 - 375	racing away from the boxes ARMASTICE DAY and PARASIAN MAGIC came together soon after racing in to the first bend there was crowding as RASSO raced across angling inwards pushing ARMASTICE DAY in to the hind quarters of ROTOVEGAS RAT and RED MOOVA HOOVER, all these runners were forced to check losing momentum and ground. On the turn in to the home straight ARMASTICE DAY checked out across heels losing ground finishing in the rear at the line.
Race 9	NZ Racing Series Advanced Final - NZRSf - 457	Getting away from the boxes TAKAMORI ran in sharply forcing BORIS in across the heels of NIGHT PEARL , BORIS STUMBLED for a stride losing momentum and was unable to get in to contention there after. On returning to the kennel block TAKAMORI was found to have suffered a laceration to and was referred to the vet for assessment a skin wound to the left hind was stapled .
Race 10	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Stakes - C4 - 457	Racing away from the start TEEGZ ran across the face of POPCORN SUTTON hampering this dog for a couple of strides. Racing in to the first bend WHO DAT BOY racing to the lead angled inwards causing tightening TEEGAMBO, PRETTY CHIC, MANYANA GROPER and THRILLING CARTER, MANYANA GROPER and THRILLING CARTER went back towards the rear ,soon after THRILLING CARTER made good ground between runners to finish on in to 4th placing at the line.
Race 11	Fond Foods Ltd Stakes - C1 - 457	Racing in to the first bend MARY'S BAD BOY angled in to the shoulder of BANGKOK HONEY as she raced past ,MARY'S BAD BOY ran in on to REGAZZA GINA tightening and checking this runner back on to BANGKOK HONEY both runners jostled for a couple of strides . Racing on to the top bend MARY'S BAD BOY and RAMAH REASON ran wide around the bend to the home straight.
Race 12	Mike Stent Decorators Ltd Stakes - C2 - 457	Racing in to the first bend FORTIS FLYER attempted to angle in to a gap coming together and bumping BORIS GUMP a couple of strides on THRILLING LUKE angled in on to FORTIS FLYER and BORIS GUMP ,these runners all checked losing ground. After being slow away THRILLING LUKE struck trouble in to the first bend as he attempted to improve ,he was forced to race wide on to the bend having to check off heels soon after and only battled in the run home to finish towards the rear at the line.
