| Race 1 | Super Pets Dash - C1 - 295 | Shortly after the start REPLAY (2) shifted inwards and jostled with EUG THE SCROOGE (1).Approaching the first turn MISS JOLT (6) was hampered when awkwardly placed between SUMMER LOVE (3) and the fast improving JIMMY HAMMER (8). Shortly thereafter MISS JOLT was further hampered and shifted wider on the track when EUG THE SCROOGE shifted ground outwards across heels. |
| Race 2 | Business Time At Stud Sprint - C1 - 295 | WOOLY WHATSIT (2) began awkwardly. CRYSTALL MCBELL (5) shifted inwards shortly after the start and hampered TOKEN JUMP (4) and STRUGGLE IS REAL (3). Approaching the first turn STRUGGLE IS REAL shifted across heels and made firm contact with TOKEN JUMP resulting in both runners being unbalanced for a short distance. WOOLY WHATSIT was held up rounding the final bend when awkwardly placed on the heels of CRYSTALL MCBELL. |
| Race 3 | Hurunui Hotel Stakes - C1 - 520 | DUSTY RAIDER (7) was slow in the initial stages. VITO BAXTER (3) began awkwardly and made firm contact with OPAWA VIV (4) shortly after the start. VITO BAXTER was buffeted on a number of occasions in the early stages. Passing the winning post on the first occasion KNOW CLOWN (2) lost ground when tightened from the outside. OPAWA VIV and VITO BAXTER made firm contact when negotiating the first turn. On entering the home straight LAGOON VICTORY (8) shifted outwards off the heels of INFERNAL MAJESTY(5) and forced KNOW CLOWN wider. |
| Race 4 | Amber Cleaning Services Dash - C1 - 295 | OHOKA TOO SOON (6) was a late scratching at kennelling. OUR JOHN (2) was slow to begin. BELLA GRACE (5) and JAMAICAN ARCHIE (3) made firm contact shortly after the start. Into the first turn TAYLA'S FRIEND (7) was unbalanced when firmly contacted by JAMAICAN ARCHIE. JAMAICAN ARCHIE then shifted inwards and badly hampered BELLA GRACE and the trailing SPARROW both of which lost momentum and ground. |
| Race 5 | Angler's Arms Tavern Sprint - C1 - 295 | ROADWORKS (3) began awkwardly. Shortly after the start ROADWORKS was unbalanced when firmly contacted by HOMEBUSH FINE (6) which shifted inwards. ROADWORKS was further hampered in the run to the first turn when awkwardly placed inside the heels of GUMP'S THE NAME (8). ROADWORKS was forced over extra ground rounding the turn avoiding the heels of GUMP'S THE NAME which continued on an inward movement. OHOKA TOO SOON (1) was forced wider as a result. MR NOVEMBER (2) became awkwardly placed on the heels of HOMEBUSH FINE rounding the bend and lost ground. |
| Race 6 | Garrard's Horse And Hound Stakes - C1 - 520 | LA KINKS (8) was very slow to begin. JINJA JAFFA (2) and JEWEL APACHE (3) jostled for a short distance approaching the winning post on the first occasion when back in the running. OPAWA SHILOH (6) ran wide rounding the first bend .JINJA JAFFA was unbalanced when contacted by the improving LA KINKS rounding the first turn. |
| Race 7 | Chris & Lisa Earl Dash - C1 - 295 | OHOKA JOKA (3) was slow to begin. WHITEY'S GONE (5) and TULIP MUNCHER (8) jostled for some distance rounding the bend. CANDYBOY (2) raced very wide on entering the home straight. |
| Race 8 | Hampden Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520 | ALL ABOUT ECHO (5) was a late scratching at kennelling. At the winning post on the first occasion KNOW WORTH (2) and MCLOVIN' (4) came together and were unbalanced for a short distance. KNOW WORTH and MCLOVIN' jostled for some distance rounding the turn when well back in the field. At the end of the back straight CHIPPA LATA (8) was checked and lost momentum when OPAWA LOI (6) shifted inwards towards the running line. |
| Race 9 | Dave Robbie Photographer Sprint - C1 - 295 | FIREMANS GALAXY (1) was very slow to begin. HOMEBUSH NAKI (6) and CAWBOURNE ROWAN (5) came together after jumping. MALCY (7) and HOMEBUSH NAKI jostled shortly after the start. Approaching the first turn FIREMANS GALAXY improved quickly and became awkwardly placed inside of WIGMORE (3) which was dictated inwards towards the running line by SHEZA GAMBLE (4). FIREMANS GALAXY was severely buffeted and lost ground. Also hampered in this incident were WIGMORE and MALCY both of which lost ground. |
| Race 10 | Opawa Bowl & Jack Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520 | SUSAN JEWEL (1) was slow through the initial stages. OPAWA EXTREME (7) and FILANTE (8) made firm contact shortly after the start. Approaching the winning post on the first occasion GOLDSTAR COCO (4), which was dictated inwards by OPAWA GRUNTER (5) was badly unbalanced when buffeted against KNOW SCHOLAR (2). GOLDSTAR COCO and KNOW SCHOLAR both lost ground as a result. KNOW SCHOLAR and OPAWA EXTREME made firm contact rounding the first turn. On entering the home straight OPAWA GRUNTER checked across the heels of FILANTE. |
| Race 11 | C.T.V. Dash - C1 - 295 | TOO MUCH REBEL (2) was slow to begin. Into the first bend TEPIRITA FUNKITA (5) which was tight between runners, was checked from behind and fell. BELFAST EEJIT (1) and TOO MUCH REBEL were badly affected in this incident losing all chance. TEPIRITA FUNKITA was referred to the club veterinarian for assessment. |
| Race 12 | Protexin Sprint - C1 - 295 | HOMEBUSH RILEY (5) and GLENN IS GOODSEY (9) came together after jumping. Shortly after the start HOMEBUSH RILEY and MIDNIGHT SPRITE (8) made firm contact. Shortly thereafter MIDNIGHT SPRITE became unbalanced when clipping the heel of BIZARRO (7). MIDNIGHT SPRITE lost momentum as a result. |
