Judicial report: 1) Trainer S Stone was fined $50 as per the Minor Infringements Table after admitting a breach of Rule 68.8.b in that she failed to present the papers for her runners today. 2) A number of start times were amended due to changes to the schedule at the Timaru gallops.

Race 1	Super Pets Dash - C0 - 295	GRAYSON BLUE (2) ran outwards in the initial stages inconveniencing ANOTHER BELLE (3), PIECE (4) and TATUM BAXTER (7) with this trio settling well back. PIECE was tightened into the bend and dropped to the rear. CHIEF BAXTER (8) shifted up the track in the home straight.
Race 2	Glenbyre Tavern Stakes - C0 - 520	GOLDSTAR PO (3) weighed in 2.8kgs above its last race weight with Co-Trainer S Evans advising that this increase was intentional. GOLDSTAR PO stumbled at the jump and settled well back. OPAWA BUCKS EYE (6) shifted outwards in the early stages checking PRIVATE ACTION (10). GOLDSTAR ARCHIE (9) and OPAWA BUCKS EYE ran wide around the first bend. MAUDIE'S BABE (7) and HUMAN INSTINCT (4) came together on the final turn when leading with this pair both losing momentum. HUMAN INSTINCT then dragged down MAUDIE'S BABE with this runner falling. GOLDSTAR PO and PRIVATE ACTION were both hampered in this incident. MAUDIE'S BABE and HUMAN INSTINCT were both checked and cleared by the vet following this race.
Race 3	Amber Cleaning Services Sprint - C0 - 295	ANOTHER RIDDLE (2) was last on settling. WHAT A PARTY (5) lost ground after brushing together with JOEY BAXTER (10) in the early stages. JOEY BAXTER checked outwards into the bend hampering COOL GYPSY (9) with FIRST OFFICER (8) and WHAT A PARTY forced to race wide as a result. COOL GYPSY raced wide on the home turn. WHAT A PARTY and FIRST OFFICER ran wide in the home straight.
Race 4	Carol's T.A.B.Dash - C0 - 295	Permission was granted for ANOTHER RUSS (6) to be boxed first due to this dog being hard to box in recent starts. ANOTHER RUSS was a clear last on jumping. HYDE BAXTER (8) checked off the heels of MAGIC GINA (4) into the bend. BRANDISH (3) and GORDONS MY MATE (5) ran wide on the home turn.
Race 5	Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C0 - 295	PASS WITH CARE (4) and MARTY MCMOTH (6) were both slow to jump. BADUZZI (1) ran outwards in the early stages checking CAWBOURNE DOZER (3) and KENTARO BAXTER (5). OPAL JEWEL (2) shifted up the track into the bend coming together with BEDUZZI. CAWBOURNE DOXER and KENTARO BAXTER were both forced wider as a result with LICK IT UP (8) and SOME EXCITMENT (7) badly hampered in behind this pair. OPAL JEWEL was dragged down on the bend and ran outwards badly checking CAWBOURNE DOZER which lost momentum. OPAWA JEWEL was referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of any injury.
Race 6	Little Brown Jug Stakes - C1/2 - 520	KNOW ANSWER (8) was last to jump. PINDARI (4) was tightened in the early stages. BOSTON BILLY (1) shifted up the track into the back straight pushing MISS VALLEY INN (6) wider. MISS VALLEY INN was then held up and checked outwards on the home turn pushing KNOW ANSWER over extra ground.
Race 7	Clarkson Sign Studio Sprint - C2 - 295	GO TOMMO (9) was last to jump with OHOKA ACE (1) and TOKEN ACE (2) also settling well back. JACK'S A JEWEL (4) was checked in the back straight losing ground. KNOW CHEERS (7) bumped with JACK'S A JEWEL into the bend and lost ground. GO TOMMO raced wide throughout.
Race 8	Greyhounds As Pets Stakes - C1/2 - 520	FLIP FLIPPA (8) was slow over the early stages. GOLDSTAR AVERY (3) was tightened in the run to the first bend. OPAWA BORN (7) and LAGOON TWIST (4) came together in tight quarters into the first bend. GOLDSTAR AVERY shifted outwards on the first bend pushing PLUTONIUM (6) wider on the track. ELWOOD SENSATION (5) was forced wider in this incident.
Race 9	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C2 - 295	Will EXCITE (4) lost ground in the back straight after contacting GOSSIP QUEEN (3). Into the bend pressure from KNOW SALUTE (6) and SHOWROOM (7) from wide out caused considerable tightening to GOSSIP QUEEN, GOLDSTAR CHYNA (2) and STENSON (1). GOSSIP QUEEN lost her paws for several strides with STENSON appearing to brush the rail. This pair were both referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 10	Shirley Vet Clinic Maiden Final - C0f - 520	SPINE CHILLING (6) was last to jump. OPAWA GUMISIE (4) ran inwards in the run to the first bend pushing Mc LOVIN' (2) down the track with this runner striking the rail and losing ground. ARCTIC ACTION (1) ran outwards on the first bend pushing OPAWA GUMISIE, UNO BRENT (5) and UNO MARGUERITE (8) wider on the track. Soon after MC LOVIN' received a check after getting on the heels of OPAWA GUMISIE. At the entrance to the back straight OPAWA AMBER (7) ran inwards and collided with ARCTIC ACTION with OPAWA AMBER losing all momentum. At the end of the back straight OPAWA GUMISIE was badly tightened and fell causing interference to the trailing UNO MARGUERITE and OPAWA AMBER. Post race assessments were carried out on OPAWA GUMISIE, OPAWA AMBER and MC LOVIN' with OPAWA GUMISIE receiving a stand down due to lacerations caused by the fall.
Race 11	Angler's Arms Tavern Sprint - C2 - 295	GOLDSTAR MAGIC (4) was tightened in the early stages. BIGTIME TIP (1) was tightened into the bend losing ground. BLONDE TORI (3) checked outwards off the heels of NORMAN JEWEL (6) on the home turn pushing LIL DANNY RASCAL (7) wider on the track. BIGTIME TIP and GOLDSTAR MAGIC came together on the home turn when well back.
Race 12	Snow-e Muscle, Energy & Fertility Dash - C2 - 295	TONY'S CHOICE (6) was a clear last on jumping. PETRA HAKA (4) lost ground after contacting KNOW STRUGGLE (7) in the back straight. KNOW STRUGGLE improved wide on the home turn pushing HOMEBUSH SPIKE (8) wider on the track. TONY'S CHOICE ran wide on the home turn.
