Race 1	Gommans Greyhound Supplies C0 - C0 - 375	DOUBLE ENTENDRE shifted out over the heels of ATOMIC LASS on the bend and checked SPRITE ON TIME which lost two lengths. ATOMIC LASS was also hampered aand lost ground in the incident and she went back a length onto HOMEBUSH MELVIN which shifted out and raced wide into the home straight. SPRITE ON TIME was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have tricep and pectoral muscle pain.
Race 2	Grant Irvine Pharmacy C0 - C0 - 457	The start was delayed by one minute at the request of the TAB. SPIRIT RUN, CAWBOURNE ROMAN and HARSH MISTRESS were slow to begin losing two lengths. SPIRIT RUN recovered the best of the three and she made up ground well to finish in 2nd place. CHARRINA HILL shifted in abruptly from the start and checked MEAN AS which lost ground and she settled back and stayed there throughout the race.
Race 3	Greyhounds As Pets C2 - C2 - 457	NERO began very awkwardly and blundered losing several lengths. ZULU MERCEDES wanted to race wide after starting from box 3 and she shifted out and jostled with BEDLAM BRIDGE soon after the start. ZULE MERCEDES then shifted out going into the bend and jostled with ARCHI BALE and they both lost ground and stayed back to finish at the rear. THRILLING LUKE and THUMB PRINT TONY bumped together going into the bend and THRILLING LUKE lost two lengths in the incident.
Race 4	J P Print, Petone C2 - C2 - 375	One of the favourites POWERHOUSE LEE settled back from the start and he then bumped with RUNS FOR GAS going to the first corner and then bumped with TALK IT OVER going into the bend and went back to the rear and never recovered the lost ground.
Race 5	Brooks Timing C3 - C3 - 375	ROCKETSHIP MAC began awkwardly losing ground and settled at the rear but made up ground well to finish in 3rd place. HUNTED ONE and RITZA ROSE bumped together going into the bend and they were briefly unbalanced with RITZA ROSE the most affected and she lost three lengths. HUNTED ONE recovered well to finish in 2nd place.
Race 6	Personal Protective Services Ltd C1 - C1 - 375	BUNDORAN LASS, GUMMY GUMPSTA, BOSTON THUNDER and CAWBOURNE SHADOW jostled together for some distance going to the first corner and they all lost ground with BUNDORAN LASS the most affected and she lost several lengths. BOSTON THUNDER and CAWBOURNE SHADOW jostled together approaching the home turn and BOSTON THUNDER was checked and raced wide into the straight.
Race 7	Paul Claridge Electrical C1 - C1 - 375	BUNDORAN LAD was slow to begin and settled back. FLIRT WITH ME, RADIO GOO GOO and CAWBOURNE BEAU were all awkwardly placed in restricted room on the inside as runners drawn further out shifted in going into the bend and they were checked back to the rear and never recovered. RADIO GOO GOO was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have suffered a spike wound.
Race 8	Manawatu Harness Racing Club C2 - C2 - 375	VINNIE BAXTER and FLYING BLAKE were awkwardly placed in restricted room between runners going into the bend and they were shuffled back to the rear and stayed back for the remainder of the race.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company Ltd C4 - C4 - 457	GRADUATION and ARCANE SABRE were slow to begin from the outside boxes and they settled back and stayed there throughout the race.
Race 10	Warehouse Stationary C5 - C5 - 375	SHINZIGZAG and UNLIKELY ATTACK began awkwardly losing two lengths. THOU ROMEO and RED MOOVA HOOVA were handy to the leaders on the bend but they bumped together becoming unbalanced and drifted back towards the rear and finished in the last two places.
Race 11	Shakey Jakey at Rocky Ridge C1 - C1 - 457	ANOTHER CRUISE was slow to begin and settled at the rear where he stayed throughout the race. TE MAARI STYLE was checked when tightened between runners going into the bend and he then shifted out to race very wide on the bend and into the straight covering extra ground.
Race 12	Affordable Pet Accessories C3 - C3 - 457	BORIS and BOTANY RITCHIE were slow to begin. BORIS recovered to make up ground well to win the race. CAWBOURNE PHILLIP and CHLOE'S PRODIGY jostled together going to the first corner and soon after, BOTANY RITCHIE galloped on the back of CHLOE'S PRODIGY and they both lost several lengths.
