Judicial report: Trainer J McInerney was fined $50.00 as per the Minor Infringements Table after admitting a breach of Rule 71.4 after WHAT I LIKE was without a catcher at the conclusion of Race 12.

Race 1	Placemakers Ashburton Stakes - C0 - 520	PRIVATE ACTION (2) and TATUM BAXTER (10) were slow to jump. WALLY BAXTER (1) was badly tightened into the first bend and lost ground pushing LIN BAXTER (9) outwards on to TATUM BAXTER. In behind SUSAN JEWEL (4) was checked and dragged WALLY BAXTER down with this pair losing their chances. WALLY BAXTER was referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 2	Bruce & Anne Dann Stakes - C1 - 520	FIREMANS GALAXY (8) was a clear last on jumping with HOMEBUSH RILEY (2) also settling well back. BLACK SAILS (5) was tightened in the run to the first bend as OPAWA GRUNTER (7) angled down the track. FIREMANS GALAXY checked outwards off heels on the first bend and was obliged to race wide for the remainder of the event. FIREMANS GALAXY was referred to the vet for assessment following this event with no abnormality detected.
Race 3	Ritchies Coachlines Sprint - C2 - 295	CEC DIVINE (4) was last to jump. UNRELIABLE ANDY (7) crossed quickly to the rail causing tightening to MAMALULU (5), SHOWROOM (3) and CAWBOURNE PEEJAY (2). GOLDSTAR ROSIE (1) was also inconvenienced at this stage. CAWBOURNE PEEJAY raced wide on the home turn.
Race 4	www.racinggreyhoundbreeders.co.nz Dash - C3 - 295	NORMAN JEWEL (6) and CAWBOURNE DANIAL (7) were the last pair to jump. MISS SOFTY (2) was tightened into the bend losing ground. NORMAN JEWEL was checked into the bend and ran outwards dropping to the rear. MISS SOFTY was checked and ran outwards in the home straight when well back.
Race 5	Global Edge Properties Distance - C0d - 645	This race was delayed by one minute due to a race from Waipa running late. GOLDSTAR COCO (4) was last to jump. GLORY HOG (3) was checked into the first bend and lost ground. BRUISER BALE (5) ran wide on the home turn.
Race 6	Jane & Len Hart Memorial - R/A - 520	FIORELLI MICHA (9) and LAGOON MAY (8) were the last pair from the traps. TINA (1) was inclined to run outwards in the run to the first bend firstly causing a check to FROST YOURSELF (3) and then tightening CAWBOURNE ROWAN (4) and LAGOON BELLE (6). FROST YOURSELF ran wide on the first bend. FLYING AMELIA (5) and JEMIMA TEE (7) came together on the first bend. As JEMIMA TEE became unbalanced and lost ground it ran inwards and collided with TINA (1) with JEMIMA TEE falling. JEMIMA TEE was checked and cleared by the vet. LAGOON MAY and FIORELLI MICHA ran wide in the concluding stages.
Race 7	Connie Smallridge Memorial - C4 - 520	JIBBAJABBA JEWEL (2) and KAREN'S MAGIC (3) were tightened in the early stages. OPAWA AMY (5) ran wide around the first bend and in the back straight. ANDREA (1) was held up on the final bend when in behind HOMEBUSH CHOPPER (9) which was beginning to tire.
Race 8	Wal Walsh Memorial - R/A - 520	OPAWA DIESEL (2) and LONESOME NITRO (8) were the last pair from the traps. IZZEY BALE (1) was tightened into the first bend. CHAIMBO (7) ran outwards into the first bend pushing LONESOME NITRO wider. CHAIMBO and PUMA PANTS (6) both ran wide in the back straight.
Race 9	Springston Hotel Dash - C4 - 295	This race was delayed by two minutes due to a race from Rangiora running late. SPRINKLES (9) dropped to the rear in the early stages. RICK'S TERRA (3), SPIDER GIRL (8) and RUSTY KNIFE (10) all came together and jostled into the bend. TIME SLAYER (6) raced wide on the home turn.
Race 10	Christchurch Demolition & Salvage Distance - C2d - 645	This race was delayed by two minutes due to a Waipa race running behind time. OPAWA TANIA (5), CHILL OUT RALPH (10) and UNOVA BALE (8) were slow to jump. CHILL OUT RALPH ran wide with a lap to run. UNOVA BALE got on heels when improving rapidly on the home turn losing some momentum.
Race 11	J.H. Cleary "Hows It Going" Memorial - C5 - 295	This race was delayed by one minute at request of the TAB. CAMSIDE GOLD (3) was last on settling. HETFIELD (4) was tightened in the back straight and lost ground. ZIPPING JYE (7) checked outwards off heels on the home turn pushing an improving CAMSIDE GOLD over extra ground.
Race 12	Rabbiters Rest Bistro @ Springston Hotel Stakes - C2 - 520	OPAWA ROCKY (2), WHAT I LIKE (9) and OPAWA KURU (7) were slow to jump. OPAWA KURU was forced wide around the first bend.
