| Race 1 | Affordable Pet Accessories Sprint - C0 - 375 | ORBITER went up with the lids, PODIUM BONUS BOX 4 also began awkwardly for a stride or so ,HUGGLEMONSTER ran inwards checking PODIUM BONUS as this runner had stumbled slightly cutting PODIUM BONUS back, HUGGLEMONSTER ran in further bumping COMET FOOT sideways . Racing in to the first bend ORBITER ran on to the back of HUGGLEMONSTER resulting in this runner tripping and stumbling going back to the rear. APRIL'S MY MUM and AMPLEMANCCHEN both ran very wide on to and around the top bend ,AMPELMANCCHEN covered a lot of extra ground but finished strongly down the outer in the run home to finish in to 2nd placing at the line . HUGGLEMONSTER was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. |
| Race 2 | The Clubhouse Sports Bar Sprint - C1 - 375 | BELFAST JANE jumped away well to be vying for the lead in the run to the first bend ,RENROY crossed her angling across to the rail, BELFAST JANE went back resulting in LENNY MAC running in to the back of BELFAST JANE turning this runner sideways losing momentum ,BELFAST JANE went back to a clear last in the running finishing several lengths in the rear at the line. BELFAST JANE was referred to the vet for assessment was referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 3 | Hautapu Veterinary Services Stakes - C0 - 457 | COOKIE MONSTER went up with the lids being last away, HERSCHKE stumbled slightly on leaving the boxes, DOBBIE box 5 ran out from the boxes running in to the side of MARY'S BAD BOY,THRILLING LOGAN ( fav ) was only fairly away from the start. Racing in to the first bend HERSCHKE was bumped out on to an improving THRILLING LOGAN, HERCHKE was checked going back catching the heels of THRILLING LOGAN checking this runner, soon after racing on to the top bend MARY'S BAD BOY improving ran in to the back of HERSCHKE with WALTER MITTY was forced to check out off the back of these runners going wide on to the point of the top bend. MARY'S BAD BOY lost momentum back to a clear last in the running and was unable to improve there after. |
| Race 4 | All Sew Embroidery Sprint - C1 - 375 | racing away from the start OPAWA PEARL ran in on to PEETA MALLARK and MAKING YOU PAW ( fav ) these runners all lost a length or so. Racing in to the first bend COOL FOOT LUKE angled inwards tightening and checking PEETA MALLARK back on to OPAWA PEARL who went inwards ,ZIPPING TAY went back half a length on to the back and heels of PEETA MALLARK almost dragging this runner down ,ZIPPING TAY got tangled in the hind legs of PEETA MALLARK for a stride or so both runners were severely hampered , losing momentum and ground to be a clear last in the running ,they both made ground there after to finish with the field at the line. Racing across the top bend wider out NOT BAD was dragged down on her haunches as MAKING YOU PAW ( fav ) ran on to the back of him, NOT BAD almost fell right down but recovered well back to her footing to finish on along the inner for 6th placing at the line. PEETA MALLARK, ZIPPING TAY and NOT BAD were all referred to the vet for assessment where no stand downs were imposed ,NOT BAD did have a small wound to her left hind tibia with a couple of staples inserted. |
| Race 5 | 0800 4 Down Cow Sprint - C4 - 375 | Racing away from the start LUCKY MAN, YES NO MAYBE, PREMIER OSTI, and PINK BOUQUET came together, soon after racing in to the first bend PREMIER OSTI angled inwards catching the hindquarters of PINK BOUQUET checking this runner and putting her off stride ,PINK BOUQUET went back a couple of lengths with YES NO MAYBE running in to the side of her for a few strides hampering her further, PINK BOUQUET lost momentum back to the rear and was unable to improve there after finishing in the rear at the line. |
| Race 6 | Thanks Belle Burst Sprint - C1 - 375 | In the run to the first bend CHURCHILL CHASER was observed to go off stride dropping back to a clear last at the running and to the pull up at the lure . CHURCHILL CHASER was referred to the vet for assessment where he was found to have a gracilis muscle injury to the near side a 28 day stand down was imposed. |
| Race 7 | Palamountains Nutrition Stakes - C1 - 457 | This race was put back 4 minutes at the request of Race day Control. TALKING FANCY ( fav ) first NZ start was best away and led to near the home turn ,he was challenged for the lead with THRILLING LUKE racing up along his inner, TALKING FANCY was slightly hampered from his outer as ZIPPING WILL came around making contact with his hind quarters, TALKING FANCY weakened soon after to finish in the body of the field . TALKING FANCY was referred to the vet as a precaution where no abnormalities were found. |
| Race 8 | Fond Foods Ltd Sprint - C2 - 375 | This race was put back 3 minutes at the request of Race Day Control. Leaving the boxes MR DARCI and LEGAL AID bumped for a stride or so . WABI SABI dwelt slightly and soon after was hampered as FRESCO STAR angled across between runners. racing in to the first bend MR DARCI and LEGAL AID were tightened for a couple of strides both losing a couple of lengths, both these runners made good ground in the latter stages to be in a tight photo for 3rd placing at the line. WABI SABI after racing wide covering a fair amount of extra ground ran home strongly to finish in to 2nd placing at the line in a tight finish for the minor placings. ROCKETSHIP MAC ( fav ) was not too badly away from box 8 ,he made to work hard when attempting to make ground around the field across the top bend, on the home turn ROCKETSHIP MAC was hampered when coming together with COLD TURKEY for a couple of strides ,ROCKETSHIP MAC only battled there after in to 5th placing at the line. |
| Race 9 | DogZone Sprint - C4/5 - 375 | MITIGATOR from box 4 was away well in the initial stages, soon after he drifted back to be a clear last in the running finishing a margin in the rear at the line. In the run across the top bend SHARELLA when attempting to improve was forced to cross out wide over heels covering a fair amount of extra ground beating one other runner to the line. MITIGATOR was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found at this point . Trainer D Schofield was shown a replay of the run of MITIGATOR with the Stewards concerns ,D Schofield was disappointed in the dogs effort today and has been advised that this dogs performances will be monitored when he races next with an improved performance expected. |
| Race 10 | YGOT Bonus Scheme Sprint - C2/3 - 375 | Racing away from the start ARMASTICE DAY and PINEAPPLE SPLIT ( fav ) bumped a stride on MOCKING JAY ran in on to ARMASTICE DAY checking TOXIC REVENGE back ,ARMASTICE DAY then ran in catching the hindquarters of PINEAPPLE SPLIT who soon after went off stride going back to a long last in the running finishing a long margin in the rear at the lure. PINEAPPLE SPLIT was referred to the vet for assessment. where he was found to have re- injured a hip support injury with a 21 day stand down imposed. |

| Race 12 | Box 1 Gold Stakes Series Final - C1f - 457 | VICARIOUSLY box 3 began awkwardly and was then cut back along with BANGKOK HONEY as DYLAN'S A VILLAIN ran inwards a stride or so on WINSOME DAN raced across checking DYLAN'S A VILLIAN back and in on to MELMAN pushing this runner across. Racing in to the first bend VICARIOUSLY was hampered as WHAT THAT DOES angled across pushing BANGKOK HONEY in across the face of VICARIOUSLY forcing this runner to check losing several lengths back to the rear and she never got back in to contention there after. |
