Into the turn JACKPOT JAKE ran inwards tightening WALLY BAXTER with the trailing JOEY BAXTER checked and losing ground. On the turn ARCHIES DIJON and JOEY BAXTER ran wide and JACKPOT JAKE shifted ground inwards bumping WALLY BAXTER with both dogs losing momentum. Into the home straight ARCHIE DIJON checked outwards off the heels of TULIP MUNCHER and collided with COOL DEXTER with both these dogs losing ground and the trailing JACKPOT JAKE held up briefly. |

Shortly after TEPIRITA AMBER stumbled when struck by ANOTHER JAMIE shifting ground downwards. In the run to the turn ANOTHER JAMIE ran inwards tightening TEPIRITA AMBER and then continued downwards checking OPAWA EXPRESS. On the turn TEPIRITA AMBER ran wide. After the race ZIPPING JACOB fell when clipping the rear of another runner and was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury. |

| Race 5 | WELCOME ZURI JOSEPH ROSANOWSKI - C1 - 457 | GLENN IS GOODESY jumped awkwardly losing ground at the start. DREAM LARGE ran outwards over the early stages further impeding GLENN IS GOODESY. DREAM LARGE then shifted ground inwards making contact with THRILLING SHRIMP which lost momentum. In the run to the bend WAIRIO DEE JAY ran outwards dictating FILANTE and OPAWA LARRY wider on the track. DREAM LARGE shifted off the heels of HOMEBUSH SLINKY making contact with HOMEBUSH SLINKY which lost momentum. DREAM LARGE then continued outwards forcing FILANTE and GLENN IS GOODESY wider. In the early stages of the home straight DREAM LARGE was galloped on from behind by WAIRIO DEE JAY with DREAM LARGE being badly checked. |
| Race 6 | WOODEND STAKES - C1/2 - 457 | FANCY KIWI shifted outwards in the run to the bend making contact with BRUISER BALE which in turn contacted OPAWA KURU. FANCY KIWI continued to shift outwards making contact with OPAWA KURU. On the bend FANCY KIWI shifted inwards and made contact with CHAIMBO. CHAIMBO then made contact with OPAWA KURU several times on the bend with FANCY KIWI and BRUISER BALE being hindered. FANCY KIWI, CHAIMBO and OPAWA KURU all made contact again on the entrance to the home straight. |

JAMAICAN ARCHIE shifted inwards sharply at the start checking PAGANI, BAD WEEK and OPAWA LAZ. JAMAICAN ARCHIE and CAWBOURNE PIRATE made contact on the bend losing momentum. SAILORS COLLAR checked off the heels of CAWBOURNE PIRATE and dictated OPAWA GOODIE wide on the track. |
| Race 8 | Racing Series Graduation Final - NZRSf - 457 | OPAWA IDOL stood high in the boxes and jumped slowly. From the jump FLYING AMELIA ran inwards tightening HOMEBUSH ERROL. Into the turn HOMEBUSH HOWARD crossed tightening HELLO BLONDIE and checking the trailing OPAWA OPAL and OPAWA KENDAL. |

Into the turn EL SID checked off the rear of SMOKING MARLEY and struck MILLIE'S BOY who was checked and in turn checked the trailing NO BRO who ran wide. On the turn MAY MAY LAST shifted down and checked SMOKING MARLEY. Into the home straight LIL DANNY RASCAL struck SMOKING MARLEY and stumbled briefly before checking EL SID who lost ground. In the run home EL SID ran inwards and clipped the heels of NO BRO with both dogs losing momentum. |

Into the turn IMPERSONATOR briefly stumbled when checking off the rear of LOTS OF BEERSIE and then ran wide on the track and also in the home straight. |
