Race 1	Gommans Greyhound Supplies C0 - C0 - 375	EM CEE DEE began very awkwardly losing several lengths and he tailed the field throughout the race. HOMEBUSH HAPPY shifted in going to the first corner and made contact with the rail, lost ground and stayed back to finish in 2nd last place and was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. ALLEGRO STYLE galloped on the heels of NUI MAGIC entering the home straight and shifted out forcing PISTOLS PRINCESS wide over extra ground. ALLEGRO STYLE and NUI MAGIC both lost ground in the incident with NUI MAGIC the most affected.
Race 2	Greyhounds As Pets C0 - C0 - 457	MARY'S BAD BOY was up in weight by 2.0 kilograms from his last start and this was an intentional increase. AGENT MICK began awkwardly losing several lengths but then made up ground well throughout the race and finished in 6th place. MARY'S BAD BOY shifted in from the start and hampered SPIRIT RUN which lost ground but she recovered quickly to race in a handy position and she finished in 2nd place.
Race 3	Grant Irvine Pharmacy C1 - C1 - 375	SKINNY ANKLES shifted in going to the first corner and hampered LYNNY SOUTHCOMBE and MATALINO TWIST and lost momentum briefly. RATTLESNAKE JAKE brushed against the rail going into the bend, became unbalanced and shifted out over the heels of LYNNY SOUTHCOMBE and came down on top of TAIKOREA LASS which fell. NOMINAL LILY was also checked and lost ground in the incident. TAIKOREA LASS regained her feet and finished onto the lure and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have shoulder bruising.
Race 4	Brooks Timing C1 - C1 - 457	GOLFING BUDDY was slow to begin and settled at the rear after losing a length. Although it was not clearly shown on the available films, GOLFING BUDDY may have had a foot up on the lids and this could have contributed to her being slow away. THRILLING TOBY and CLEARLY MAGIC jostled together going to the first corner and they lost ground with CLEARLY MAGIC the most affected.
Race 5	J P Print, Petone C1 - C1 - 375	OPAWA JAY and JINJA PAT came together and bumped going to the first corner and JINJA PAT was hampered and lost two lengths. TO THE BANK galloped on the back of MISS MCFLY entering the home straight and dragged that runner down and she took no further part in the race and was referred to the Vet for inspection and found to have a foreleg injuries.
Race 6	Paul Claridge Electrical C2 - C2 - 375	RITZA ROSE was up in weight by 1.5 kilograms from her last start weight and this was an intentional increase. HOMEBUSH ZANE shifted out from the start and checked PUKEWHAI MAGIC which lost ground and settled back. PUKEWHAI MAGIC was unable to secure a clear run throughout the middle part of the race and was held up for some distance and finished in last place. PUKEWHAI MAGIC and WORKING JEWEL bumped going into the bend and lost three lengths and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a fractured tail and a hock injury.
Race 7	Manawatu Harness Racing Club C5 - C5 - 375	INDIVIDUAL LILY and SERENA ROSE were slow to begin losing two lengths. CAESAR CHANCE, ELLE PACKER and BLUE AND CURLY jostled together for a short distance going to the first corner and lost momentum briefly.
Race 8	Affordale Pet Accessories C2 - C2 - 375	DEATHSTAR, ANGIE ZARR and AYRA STARK bumped together when the start was made and they briefly lost momentum. ANGIE ZARR then shifted in going to the first corner and crowded DEATHSTAR and OPAWA CASSIDY which both lost ground and they stayed back to finish in the rear group.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company Ltd C4 - C4 - 375	VARGA FROST and BIG BOY DENO bumped together for a short distance going to the bend and were briefly unbalanced. PLENTY OF TIME shifted in going into the bend and caused checks to ENHANCER and BIGTIME DASHER which both lost ground and they never recovered and finished in the last two places.
Race 10	Warehouse Stationery C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	SPEED LEGEND began a little awkwardly losing a length. COSMIC SCRAMBLE and LAGOON KOOTCHY bumped together going to the first corner and COSMIC SCRAMBLE was unbalanced and lost ground back to the rear. GRADUATION and SPEED LEGEND raced wide on the bend covering extra ground.
Race 11	Personal Protective Services Ltd C3 - C3 - 375	KINGS SELECTION was awkwardly adjacent to the rail going to the first corner and went back to last. PEACOCK PRINCESS was awkwardly placed between runners on the bend and was checked losing ground and she never recovered and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 12	Shakey Jakey At Rocky Ridge C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	CAWBOURNE ARIES was slow to begin losing three lengths and she stayed back throughout the race. Soon after the start, ILLICIT TWIST was checked and lost two lengths. BORIS eased off the heells of NITRO MARY on the bend and dropped back onto AEROPLANE RITZY and they both lost three lengths.
