Track: Good After a fair amount of rain leading up to today's meeting the track was presented in a good racing condition . All other equipment operated well through out.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: WINE TIME ( A Speight ) was fined $150-00 minor infringement rule after failing to scratch this runner from race 12 by the required time .
WINE TIME was a scratching from the Manawatu meeting on the 4-6-2015

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C1 - C1 - 305	Soon after the start OTTO BAXTER ran out bumping GANACHE wider ,racing in to the first bend GANACHE angled inwards on to the hind of OTTO BAXTER catching a heel and going back on to BLAZE'S CORPORAL resulting in this runner running on to the heels of GANACHE who went back to the rear and was unable to improve there after finishing several lengths in the rear at the line. GANACHE was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 2	HARRISON HIRE MASTER C1 - C1 - 305	ANOTHER QUEEN was a late scratching at kennelling when found to be in season. Racing to the first bend ROSA GALLICA on the inner was observed to galloping uncomfortably in behind for several strides, ROSA GALLICA lost a few lengths then became awkwardly placed on the inner of LYNNY SOUTHCOMBE on the top bend ,ROSA GALLICA finished several lengths in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where she was found to have pain in both pectoral muscles and left hind quadriceps a 10 day stand down was imposed.
Race 3	WANGANUI SECURITY C1 - C1 - 520	racing to the bend on the first occasion PADDY BAXTER on the inner was tightened and hampered for a couple of strides where he went back to the rear and never improved there after . SCOTT THE BEST after racing handy although widest in the early stages drifted out wider across the bend in to the home straight finishing in the rear at the line. After reviewing the running the Stewards spoke to the connections of PADDY BAXTER and SCOTT THE BEST with their concerns for the dogs performances today an improved performance will be expected.
Race 4	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C5 - C5 - 305	Getting away from the start SUPER ZIPZIP was checked back as SCOTT NO MATES and BOSTON BLAZE came together. Racing in to the first bend there was bumping and jostling as BOSTON BLAZE attempted to push inwards on to CAWBOURNE BUTTSY who was forced back resulting in SUPER ZIPZIP catching his heels, both dogs lost ground ,CAWBOURNE BUTTSY ran on well for 4th placing at the line ,SUPER ZIPZIP never got back in to contention finishing in last placing at the line.
Race 5	WWW.RACINGTIPS.CO.NZ C5 - C5 - 305	In the run to the first turn NGAURUHOE, CAWBOURNE MIDGET and HOMEBUSH OLIVE all heading towards the lead CAWBOURNE MIDGET in between these runners was severely tightened and checked back towards the rear , on their outer POPSOME TAGS was checked as he attempted to angle inwards making contact with WHY OH WHY as this dog raced past ,POPSOME TAGS went back towards the rear ,NGAURUHOE after the incident ran out in to the first bend losing some ground and was unable to make ground there after along with POPSOME TAGS.
Race 6	THE ROCK 95.2FM C2 - C2 - 305	Soon after the start several runners changed ground in and out JUST YOU WAIT box 2 came out on to BRILLIANT JAYLA with CHOCDEE ALICE checked back from between them as these runners drifted further out SNOW DEMON from in behind ran out over the heels of ALL ABOUT JAZZ ,SNOW DEMON ran across the face of CAWBOURNE ROWNAN box 8 resulting in this runner being forced to check in across heels and ran in making contact with the rail. CAWBOURNE ROWAN finished well back at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 7	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C2 - C2 - 305	Racing to the first bend HOMEBUSH ZANE ran inwards towards the rail running in to ABOGADO checking this runner , just ahead QUEEN COBRA angled in pushing ANGIE ZARR in on to CAWBOURNE TEASH, DEATH STAR and NO TIME YET on the inner, a couple of strides on DEATHSTAR getting to the lead angled in causing NO TIME YET to catch heels and go back towards the rear, on the home turn NO TIME YET made contact with the rail dropping back several more lengths . NO TIME YET was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. ABODOGO was referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the left triceps a 5 day stand down was imposed.
Race 8	AON CPF C2/3 - C2/3 - 520	Racing to the bend on the first occasion FASTBACK KING angled inwards sharply on to LAGOON VICTORY, BEDLAM BRIDGE and TRENDY LASS causing these runners to be checked back ,LAGOON VICTORY caught the heels of MEMORY LAPSE as he went back. In the run along the back straight FASTBACK KING racing handy caught the heels of HOMEBUSH LUCIFER losing 5 or more lengths and was unable to get back in to contention there after. BEDLAM BRIDGE after striking trouble early made ground across the top bend finishing strongly in the run home to finish in 3rd placing at the line.
Race 9	INDULGE SKIN SPA C3 - C3 - 305	Racing in to the first bend HANIFY ACE angled across on to POPSTAR ROCKET, HOMEBUSH SARAH, FASTBACK KING and TAREE ZARR ( fav ) who went sideways for a stride or so going in taking the line of FEAR MARINA who lost momentum and several lengths, HOMEBUSH SARAH and FASTBACK KING went back to the rear, HANIFY ACE ran widest in to the bend covering a extra ground finishing in to 4th placing at the line.
Race 10	KEENAN CONCRETE C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	OPAWA JACKIE began awkwardly from box 5 ,soon after she checked back as RITZA DANNY and CAWBOURNE CROUCH came together. OPAWA JACKIE improved quickly back in to the body of the field racing in to the bend on the first occasion running in to GRADER JACK ,OPAWA JACKIE went back and was bumped hard as LAGOON KOOTCHY raced past on her outer pushing her down on to CHECK THE MAIL, OPAWA JACKIE went sideways for a stride or so dropping back to a clear last in the running and never improved there after. OPAWA JACKIE was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 11	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C3/4 - C3/4 - 305	Soon after the start MATILDA'S BABE ran in bumping HOMEBUSH RAMONA ,TONGARIRO box 4 angled outwards as ALLEGRO TOUCH came in both dogs bumped ,TONGARIRO went sideways for a stride ,in behind BIG BOY DENO was checked running in severely tightening MATILDA'S BABE in on to HOMEBUSH RAMONA, TONGARIRO then attempted to force his way out badly hampering ALLEGRO TOUCH and PLENTY OF TIME for a couple of strides. MATILDA'S BABE and PLENTY OF TIME both ran widest on to the top bend.
Race 12	THE DOGZONE C3/4 - C3/4 - 305	WINE TIME was a late scratching mid-morning ( refer to judicial report ). From the jump JINGA COLL was away well from box 7 raced across on to WINFIELD WINTER ( fav ) pushing this runner across on to OPAWA SISTER, BOLT ALLEGRO and ROCK ON SPRITE checking all these runners. Racing on to the top bend ENAZUMA wider out ran in to the back of WINFIELD WINTER checking for a stride or so . After being checked earlier in the running ROCK ON SPRITE raced well back there after. JINGA COLL the winner was push over and trampled at the lure and referred to the vet on returning to the wash bay where there were grazes to the hind legs with a 5 day stand down imposed.
