Judicial report: Trainer M.Mann was given a first and final warning after she had requested and used an unlicenced person ( Mr S.Mann ) to catch a Greyhound for her at Trials held at the Manawatu Raceway on Wednesday 03.06.2015. FOREVER AUTUMN which had been stood down for failing to pursue the lure at Wanganui on 01.06.15, was represented under the provisions of Rule 79.4 and found to have Hip Support injuries requiring a 28 day stand down and as a result, the stand down for failing to pursue was rescinded.
ABOUT TOWN was given permission to late scratch without penalty when the Trainer explained that it was very probable that she would miss the ferry sailing to the South Island after the meeting was put back one race and the next sailing was not until tomorrow. The reason for the box lids opening early in race 7 and the race having to be abandoned, was attributed to the box lids not being secured by the catches on the front and there were no further problems for the remainder of the races.
