EL SID (4) crossed to the rail in the early stages tightening STENSON (2) and VINNY VINDALOO (1). Into the bend SCARY CANARY (6) ran inwards placing VINNY VINDALOO in restricted room. SCARY CANARY was dragged down and lost momentum in this incident with STENSON was held up at this stage. |

Into the bend CAWBOURNE PIRATE (3) angled inwards checking AIR EXPRESS (1) causing this runner to be badly checked and turned sideways. AIR EXPRESS then continued outwards causing terminal checks to JOYNER KERSEE (5) and OPAWA LAZ (8) with LACHIE JEWEL also being inconvenienced. BORN TO BOOM (7) then ran inwards soon after causing a slight check to CAWBOURNE PIRATE. AIR EXPRESS was referred to the vet for assessment. |

LAGOON VICTORY (9) shifted up the track in the back straight pushing ALBIE MCLEOD (6) and LAGOON TWIST (8) wide on the track. Early in the run home WAIRIO DEE JAY (10) shifted outwards off heels and was checked from behind by ALL ABOUT ECHO (5) with both runners losing momentum. |

JINJA LOCH (1) raced wide around the home turn when leading losing ground. FLYING AMELIA was referred to the vet for assessment. |

WEARS THE GOLD ran outwards on the bend checking OPAWA SHACKLEY and pushing KNOW HERO over extra ground. |
