| Race 1 | Gommans Greyhound Supplies C0 - C0 - 375 | HOMEBUSH ROCCO, AGENT MICK and CAWBOURNE LEGS all began awkwardly losing three lengths. CAWBOURNE LEGS recovered the best of the three and made up ground to finish in 3rd place. GOODTIME LADY and CAWBOURNE LEGS both raced wide on the bend and into the straight but finished the race off well for 2nd and 3rd places. FOREVER AUTUMN shifted ground in the home straight and caused a check to BUNDORAN LASS which lost two lengths. |
| Race 2 | Greyhounds As Pets C1 - C1 - 375 | ROSA GALLICA shifted in going into the bend and checked HOMEBUSH BOUNCE which checked over heels and shifted out to race wide but kept up a strong run to finish in 3rd place. A short distance further on, BUNDORAN LAD also checked over the heels of ROSA GALLICA and shifted out making contact with HOMEBUSH BOUNCE and lost momentum. |
| Race 3 | Grant Irvine Pharmacy Ltd C0 - C0 - 375 | TAKEAWAY and FAT BOYZ FLYER bumped together when the start was made and they both lost ground and settled back in the field where they stayed throughout the race. |
| Race 4 | Paul Claridge Electrical C1 - C1 - 375 | PRECIOUSLY, CAWBOURNE JOSH and POWERHOUSE LEE were slow to begin and settled back and they stayed well back throughout the race and finished in the rear group. |
| Race 5 | Brooks Timing C5 - C5 - 375 | The favourite WHEELIE GOOD was slow to begin losing three lengths. He then raced wide covering extra ground and finished well back in 2nd last. |
| Race 6 | J P Print, Petone C3 - C3 - 375 | GRUNT RODGERS was slow to begin and he settled at the rear and stayed back throughout to finish in last place. HERE WITHOUT YOU was tightened by MANU RAMA racing into the bend and made firm contact with the rail and lost several lengths and all chance. HERE WITHOUT YOU was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a latissimus dorsi injury. |
| Race 7 | Warehouse Stationery C4 - C4 - 375 | BLUE AND CURLY bumped with WHATS UP GEE when the start was made and WHATS UP GEE lost ground and settled at the rear. PLENTY OF TIME shifted in from the start and hampered SERENA ROSE and BLUE AND CURLY which both lost momentum. PLENTY OF TIME collided with AIR RAID going into the bend and they were both severely checked and lost ground. OPAWA COLIN was observed to be limping on leaving the track following the race and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a lesion on a pad. |

| Race 9 | Outback Trading Company Ltd C4 - C4 - 457 | PREMIER DIVISION and TAKAMORI bumped together going to the first corner and they were unbalanced and went back to the rear. COSMIC SCRAMBLE was handy going to the first corner but bumped with PEACOCK PRINCESS, was unbalanced and then clipped that runners heel losing several lengths. COSMIC SCRAMBLE then recovered and made up ground very well for 4th place. TAKAMORI made the turn into the bend awkwardly, shifted out and checked over the heels of OPAWA SHAIDEN and lost ground. |
| Race 10 | Manawatu Harness Racing Club C2 - C2 - 457 | WALL AGE, HOMEBUSH LUCIFER and THRILLING TOBY jostled together for a short distance soon after the start and were checked back to the rear where they stayed throughout the race. |
| Race 11 | Farewell & Thank You Trish & Eric C1 - C1 - 457 | GLAD'S APOPPING began very awkwardly losing several lengths and all chance and she tailed the field throughout the race. ZAMADDIS LASS shifted in from the start and bumped CAWBOURNE GRACIE which was unbalanced and lost ground. CAWBOURNE GRACIE and TUFF DIAMOND bumped early in the home straight and TUFF DIAMOND lost a length. |
| Race 12 | Plaster Board Silver Collar Heats 31st May C2 - C2 - 375 | TIMMY TRUMPET shifted out going into the first corner and forced RUNS FOR GAS out into the line of CAWBOURNE ARIES, ANGIE ZARR and NIKKA CENTURY which were all severely checked losing all chance. The eventual winner TIMMY TRUMPET turned its head in the home straight and attempted to fight with the eventual 2nd placed runner AYRA STARK for some distance and in doing so severely unbalanced AYRA STARK. TIMMY TRUMPET was referred to the Vet for assessment and was found to have injured a toe joint which required a 21 day stand down. As it could not be conclusively established from the available viideo films that TIMMY TRUMPET had marred the other runner, the 21 day injury stand down was imposed and the dog is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing. |
