| Race 1 | ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2 - C2 - 520 | MORE SALT NEEDED ( A Turnwald )was a late scratching after being found to have an injury on arrival to the track Racing around the bend on the first occasion THAT'S KING was forced to check off the heels of HOMEBUSH LUCIFER, THAT'S KING lost a length or so and never got in to contention there after finishing in the rear at the line. |
| Race 2 | WANGANUI CHRONICLE C2/3 - C2/3 - 520 | In the run to the post on the first occasion BOTANY LIZ angled in on to the shoulder of OPAWA TOKEN pushing this runner across losing a couple of lengths back to the rear. OPAWA TOKEN made ground across the top bend to finish in to 6th placing at the line. |
| Race 3 | LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C5 - C5 - 305 | Soon after the start BUMP ran out as ALLEGRO CHASER box 6 raced across forcing STELLAR FORCE across checking BIG BOY DENO and BUMP, wider out CALL ME RALPH and ELLE PACKER bumped for a stride or so . Racing in to the first bend CALL ME RALPH ran out to avoid the heels of WEEPU forcing ELLE PACKER widest on to the top bend. |
| Race 4 | AON CPF C5 - C5 - 305 | This race was put back 2 minutes at the request of Race day control Racing in to the first bend HOMEBUSH OLIVE,SENORITA TINA, and SWEET AS BRO were badly hampered and tightened as SEMANTICS angled inwards, SWEET AS BRO and SENORITA TINA recovered well to finish in to 3rd & 4th placing at the line, HOMEBUSH OLIVE was squeezed back to the rear and was unable to improve there after. |
| Race 5 | WANGANUI SECURITY C3 - C3 - 305 | This race was put back 2 minutes at the request of Race day control. NO TIME YET ( fav ) box 1 was only fairly away ,racing to the first bend HOMEBUSH RAMONA racing to the lead angled in on to POPSTAR ROCKET forcing this runner in on to ALLEGRO MASTER and NO TIME YET who was forced to check back of heels slightly losing several lengths back to the rear. SCOTT MY MONEY raced widest on to the top bend ,WORBOYS ran wide nearing the home turn racing widest in to and down the home straight. NO TIME YET was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. |
| Race 6 | PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C3 - C3 - 305 | This race was put back 2 minutes at the request of race day control. BLUE SENIOR box 1 was away well in the early stages ,nearing the first bend ALLEGRO TOUCH ran out bumping UP HIGH ,BLUE SENIR ran out sharply across the heels of HOMEBUSH CHURRO running in to ALLEGRO TOUCH forcing this runner on to MIGHTY MAGIC severely hampering these runners ,UP HIGH went inwards across the face of RUA RAMA checking this runner, a couple of strides on LAGOON MAC raced around runners angling in tightening ALLEGRO TOUCH back in on to BLUE SENIOR who went back to the rear running wide in to the home straight appearing to be uncomfortable in his galloping action. BLUE SENIOR was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. |
| Race 7 | THE DOGZONE C3 - C3 - 305 | From the jump GRAND ALLEGO ran in bumping CAWBOURNE TOMCAT as they came off the mat, wider out HEY YOU, WAIMAK DAVE, and MY FIRST LITTER bumped and jostled for a few strides. |
| Race 8 | Racing Series Advanced Ht1 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 1 | From the jump KILCHURN ( fav ) ran in on to RED CRYSTAL THOU ROMEO, KNOW MAYHEM and JIBBAJABBA JEWEL resulting in WILLIS catching the heels of JIBBAJABBA JEWEL and stumbling losing momentum back to the rear. KILCHURN was caught wide racing in to the bend on the first occasion ended up back in the field and made good ground in the run home to finish in to 4th placing at the line . WILLIS after striking trouble early and getting well back made good ground around the outer across the top bend to finish strongly in to 2nd placing at the line. |
| Race 9 | Racing Series Advanced Ht 2 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 2 | Racing in to the bend on the first occasion KWASANT was tightened and pushed on to the heels of OPAWA SHAIDEN as TIFFINO attempted to force his way in to a gap this resulted in KWASANT checking out sharply under the neck of TIFINO ,KWASANT bumped OPAWA SHAIDEN forward on to the hindquarters of KISSING GWYNETH who bumped in to CHECK THE MAIL who was in the lead, as KWASANT ran out he bumped and jostled TIFINO for a few strides both runners went very wide, KWASANT soon after dropped off the back of the field to finish a margin in the rear at the line. TIFINO after being checked and being forced out over ground ran on well for 4th placing at the line. KWASANT was referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 10 | KEENAN CONCRETE C2D - C2d - 755 | MAGIC EMILY began awkwardly from midfield . ZIPPING RORY a favoured runner from box 6 raced wide in to the first bend on the first occasion covering a bit of extra ground in to the home straight on the first occasion, where he was observed to lose a bandage off the off hind toes, ZIPPING RORY raced widest around the bend in to the back straight losing contact with the field by several lengths and appeared to be not hitting out comfortably finishing closer up in last placing at the line. ZIPPING RORY was referred to the vet for assessment where he was found to have reopened an old webbing injury a 5 day stand down was imposed. The Kennel rep Mr P Freeman was shown a replay of the race and reported to the Stewards that the dog is booked in for surgery on this injury and will provide a report to the Stewards as to the outcome of the surgery in the next couple of days. |
| Race 11 | WWW.RACINGTIPS.CO.NZ C4 - C4 - 305 | This race was delayed 2 minutes at the request of Race day control. Getting away from the start BIG FAT GYPSY and ARMED FORCES ran in tightening and checking EMPTY BANK and TONGARIRO , soon after TONGARIRO moved out to gain clear room to improve he was held up when catching the heels of ARMED FORCES slightly just prior to entering the first bend. Nearing the home turn ENAZUMA and BIG FAT GYPSY vying for the lead came together as ENAZUMA moved out ,BIG FAT GYPSY was bumped lost a length or so being pushed wider as they straightened for the run in finishing close up in 4th & 5th placings at the line. |
| Race 12 | BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C4 - C4 - 305 | Racing to the first turn there was crowding an jostling as MATILDA'S BABE moved out running in to the shoulder of SERENA ROSE severely hampering this runner ,on their outer HANIFY ACE angled inwards forcing YOUR SAY in on to SERENA ROSE, MATILDA'S BABE was severely tightened an turned sideways as YOUR SAY ran in to the back of her ,MATILDA'S BABE then ran in to the hind of HANIFY ACE turning this runner sideways for a stride ,MATILDA'S BABE lost ground back and was unable to get in to contention there after. |
