Judicial report: (1) Trainer M Robinson was issued with a warning pursuant to Rule 68.6 when he was late to kennel.(2) OUR CHARLOTTE (H Anderton) was stood down pursuant to Rule 79.1.b for three (3) months plus 1 satisfactory trial for failing to pursue the lure in Race 1.(3)Handler M Lin was fined $50.00 under Rule 71.4 as per the minor infringement table when he failed to catch as arranged in Race 6.

Race 1 Super Pets Sprint - C1 - 295 KNOW CONTEST (7) was slowest to begin. Into the first turn OUR CHARLOTTE (2) eased free of interference. OUR CHARLOTTE underwent a post race veterinary inspection and was found to be free of injury. Stewards stood OUR CHARLOTTE down for 3 month as this was the second offence under this rule, with this runner to complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next. Rounding the turn WILL EXCITE (6) was checked when awkward to the inside of HOMEBUSH NAKI (4) which shifted inwards.
Race 2 Shirley Vet Clinic Dash - C1 - 295 BOLTIN ARCHIE (4) and GRACY RACER (5) jostled for some distance after the start. BOLTIN ARCHIE then shifted outwards and made firm contact with SLINGO (6) resulting in both runners being unbalanced. Into the turn HOMEBUSH NARK (3) was hampered when bumped inwards by BOLTIN ARCHIE. OHOKA STRIKA (2) was hampered and lost momentum when HAMPDEN ON TAP (8) shifted inwards when improving forward. HOMEBUSH NARK and BOLTIN ARCHIE came together rounding the turn.
Race 3 DogZone Sprint - C1 - 295 KNOW STRUGGLE (2) and PETRA HAKA (5) were slowest to begin. Shortly after the start MAGIC ARROW (4) was buffeted between OPAWA GOODIE (1) and FERAL HELEN (6) both of which shifted ground. Rounding the bend KNOW STRUGGLE shifted off the heels of OPAWA GOODIE and made firm contact with MAGIC ARROW which was badly hampered. HAT TRICK CHAOS (7) and PETRA HAKA had there chances extinguished in consequence, HAT TRICK CHAOS was badly unbalanced with PETRA HAKA falling. Shortly thereafter OPAWA GOODIE was forced across the heels of FERAL HELEN (6) by the improving TONY'S CHOICE. OPAWA GOODIE was then galloped on from behind by KNOW STRUGGLE and lost momentum. OPAWA GOODIE and PETRA HAKA were referred to the club veterinarian and cleared of injury.
Race 4 Active Electrical Christchurch Stakes Heat 1 - C1q - 520 Heat 1 SPARROW (4) began awkwardly. OPAWA VIV (6) and OPAWA KURU (7) came together shortly after the start and got back. Into the first bend BOSTON BILLY (5) was jostled and forced to cover extra ground when KNOW HERO improved quickly on the inside. Shortly thereafter SPARROW shifted off the heels of STAR APACHE (10) and forced OPAWA VIV and OPAWA KURU wider on the track.
Race 5 Christchurch Casino Dash - C1 - 295 OHOKA JOKA (2) and OUR JOHN (4) were slow to begin. Shortly after the start OHOKA JOKA was awkward on the heels of LOOK AT LUCY (6). Into the first turn FAIR CRUZIN (5) and CABARITA (7) made firm contact with CABARITA being unbalanced. Rounding the turn CABARITA was further unbalanced when making contact with CAWBOURNE BEAU (1). LOOK AT LUCY and CABARITA came together on entering the home straight when well back in the field.
Race 6 Active Electrical Christchurch Stakes Heat 2 - C1q - 520 Heat 2 JEWEL APACHE (7) and KNOW WORTH (9) were slow to begin. OPAWA BRO (4) was awkward on the heels of CAWBOURNE ALPHA (3) shortly after the start and got back. CAWBOURNE ALPHA was checked by the improving GOLDSTAR AVERY (5) early in the running. JEWEL APACHE shifted inwards near the winning post on the first occasion and further hampered CAWBOURNE ALPHA. In the final straight KNOW SMIGGLE (2) checked across the heels of MEGA SURGE (8).
Race 7 Carol's T.A.B. Sprint - C1 - 295 REPLAY (7) was slow to begin. BELLA GRACE (4) and LAUDABLE (1) made firm contact shortly after the start when both runners shifted ground. Into the turn EYES ON LULU (3) was tightened between HAYLEY JAMES (2) and REPLAY and lost momentum.
Race 8 Active Electrical Christchurch Stakes Heat 3 - C1q - 520 Heat 3 KNOW NEGLECT (6) was slow to begin. Passing the winning post on the first occasion TUI TIME (2) was tightened and lost momentum between KNOW NEGLECT, which shifted in and ALBIE JAY(1). Shortly there after ALBIE JAY checked outwards across the heels of GOLDSTAR JUNIOR (4) and made firm contact with KNOW NEGLECT. GLORY HOG (8) was badly hampered in consequence. At the end of the back straight TUI TIME checked of the heels of KNOW NEGLECT. Into the final straight GOLDSTAR JUNIOR and KINLOCH POWER (7) made contact. TUI TIME faltered at the winning post and was referred to the club veterinarian for assessment.
Race 9 Greyhounds As Pets Dash - C1 - 295 TOO MUCH REBEL (8) was slow to begin. Shortly after the start WOOLY WHATSIT (9) was checked when tightened between ABBAS JUNIOR (3) which shifted outwards and LIL DANNY RASCAL (5). Into the turn TELL THE BOYS (1) was hampered and lost momentum when contacted from behind by BUSINESS REVIEW (2). TELL THE BOYS and TOO MUCH REBEL made contact on entering the home straight.
Race 10 Active Electrical Christchurch Stakes Heat 4 - C1q - 520 Heat 4 Shortly after jumping JINJA JAFFA (3) was unbalanced momentarily when shifting inwards and making firm contact with SKILLZ TAYLOR (2). Passing the winning post on the first occasion GOLDSTAR COCO (5) made firm contact with SKILLZ TAYLOR which lost ground and momentum as a result. KNOW CLOWN (7) and OPAWA GAVIN (8) raced very wide on the track in the back straight. On leaving the back straight CANDYBOY (6) was unbalanced when awkward on the heels of KINLOCH SILVER (1). As a result GOLDSTAR COCO had difficulty clearing the heels of CANDYBOY for a distance.
Race 11 Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C1 - 295 OHOKA TOO SOON (8) was slow to begin. After the start HOORAY FOR HAZEL (1) was checked when CAWBOURNE SHADOW (2) shifted in towards the running line. Rounding the bend AIR EXPRESS (4) shifted off the heels of NEW THANG (6) and checked outwards making firm contact with VINCENT GALLO (7). AIR EXPRESS and VINCENT GALLO lost all chance when both runners were badly unbalanced. NEW THANG lost momentum in this incident
Race 12 Livamol Sprint - C1 - 295 LIZ WATTO (4) was slow through the initial stages. Shortly after the start STENSON (6) and ROCKWOOD ARCHIE (5) came together and jostled for some distance. Rounding the turn STENSON was checked and lost momentum when becoming unbalanced when tight to the outside of ROCKWOOD ARCHIE after these runners continued to jostle .OPAWA NATTY was held up and took a distance to clear the heels of both ROCKWOOD ARCHIE and STENSON as a result.
