Weather: Fine
Track: Good The track was presented in good order and the meeting proceeded smoothly until an electrical problem with the starting boxes in race 10 caused an 11 minute delay. The final two races were put back by 10 minutes as a result of the problem.

Judicial report: REBEL AWAY was stood down for 3 months for a 2nd breach of Rule 79.1 b for failing to pursue the lure throughout the race and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing.

Race 1	Turakina Petshop C1 - C1 - 375	MORE SALT NEEDED began awkwardly losing ground and settled back where he stayed throughout the race. LAGOON FAME shifted out going to the first corner and raced wide on the bend and into the straight covering extra ground.
Race 2	Grant Irvine Pharmacy C0 - C0 - 375	HOMEBUSH EXPRESS and BRILLIANT JAYLA were both slow to begin losing three lengths.
Race 3	J P Print, Petone C4 - C4 - 375	ALLEGRO MASTER was handy to the lead going into the bend but was checked and went quickly back to near the rear. He did make up ground to finish well for 5th place. PLENTY OF TIME checked off the back of UNLIKELY ATTACK going into the bend and he lost ground and stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 4	Greyhounds As Pets C5 - C5 - 375	OPAWA COLIN began awkwardly and shifted in making contact with RED MOOVA HOOVA and he lost ground and settled at the rear. OPAWA COLIN then raced a little wide on the bend covering extra ground and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 5	Plasterboard Silver Collar Heats 31st May C2D - C2d - 660	SPEED LEGEND was a little slow to begin losing a length but made ground quickly to race in a midfield position throughout. ZIPPING RORY and BEDLAM BRIDGE jostled together for some distance going to and entering the first bend and they were unbalanced and lost ground.
Race 6	Personal Protective Services Ltd C2 - C2 - 375	VINNIE BAXTER was slow to begin losing three lengths but he did run on well to finish in 4th place. UNO ORANGE was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request and found to have a pectoral muscle injury.
Race 7	Brooks Timing C3 - C3 - 375	ZULU MERCEDES raced very wide on the bend and into the straight covering extra ground but kept up a strong run to finish in 3rd place.
Race 8	Paul Claridge Electrical C2 - C2 - 375	WABI SABI and TRENDY LASS were slow to begin losing two lengths. WABI SABI recovered to finish in 3rd place but TRENDY LASS stayed back to finish at the rear. KASIM and CAWBOURNE TEASH collided going into the bend simultaneously as TRENDY LASS raced onto their heels and all three runners were checked and lost ground. ARCHIE'S TIME was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request and found to have a gracilus muscle injury.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company Ltd C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	ANGVELLA shifted in abruptly from the start and hampered RITZA DANNY and THOU ROMEO for a short distance. CURIOUS LIFE and LEROY'S MYSTERY bumped going to the first corner and were briefly unbalanced. CURIOUS LIFE was checked entering the home straight, went back to last and finished in that position.
Race 10	Brad's In Training, Auckland June 7th C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	TRIDENT was a late scratching when found to be lame on arrival at the start. TRIDENT was examined by the Vet and found to have a subscapularis muscle injury. The box lids failed to open for this race and the Greyhounds were removed from the boxes, examined by the Vet and cleared as fit to race. As a result, the start was delayed by approxamately 11 minutes. GOLFING BUDDY and SHADOW BAXTER both shifted ground when the start was made and REBEL AWAY which was drawn between them was checked and settled at the rear. REBEL AWAY then appeared not to stride out in the race to the first corner and into the bend and finished in last place. REBEL AWAY was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a carpal injury with a ten day stand down recommended. However, REBEL AWAY was deemed by the Stewards to have failed to pursue the lure throughout and as it was a 2nd offence, REBEL AWAY was stood down for 3 months and is required to complete a satisfactory trial under Rule 80.1 before next racing.
Race 11	Liz's Party Bus, Auckland June 7th C1 Final - C1f - 375	ALLEGRO BLAST shifted in abruptly from the start and caused checks to POWERHOUSE LEE, CAWBOURNE JOSH, CAWBOURNE SARAH and SKINNY ANKLES and they all lost momentum. CAWBOURNE SARAH galloped on the back of BOX OF FLUFFIES going into the bend and they both lost several lengths and all chance.
Race 12	Chris Carl Champion Trainer C1 - C1 - 457	ILLICIT TWIST was slow to begin and lost two lengths. MALAKAI MAGIC shifted in going into the bend and checked GOODTIME MIKE which then shifted out and forced OLLIE BAXTER wide into the bend over extra ground.
