| Race 1 | Turakina Petshop C0 - C0 - 375 | NERO jumped inwards from the boxes contacting the hindquarters of GOODTIME LADY. NERO then shifted outwards into the line of HOMEBUSH MAGIC which was tightened, losing ground. SPIRIT RUN and RANGER'S WALTZ jostled over the early stages resulting in SPIRIT RUN being placed in restricted room entering the bend. VEGAS DANNY angled inwards entering the bend briefly crowding NERO which was then further hampered when GOODTIME LADY shifted out and collided with the hindquarters of NERO which was unbalanced. VEGAS DANNY which performed below market expectations was referred to the Veterinarian and found to be suffering from severe cramp. |
| Race 2 | Greyhounds As Pets C1 Heat 1 - C1q - 375 Heat 1 | FOUND MY BERRIES and TUFF DIAMOND were both slow to leave the boxes. ALLEGRO BLAST shifted inwards abruptly over the initial stages crowding HOMEBUSH PIPPI onto POWERHOUSE LEE which was tightened, losing ground, TUFF DIAMOND and HOMEBUSH PIPPI bumped entering the bend resulting in CAWBOURNE GEORGE being placed in restricted room, with CAWBOURNE GEORGE then clipping the heel of LAGOON FAME and losing ground. |
| Race 3 | Grant Irvine Pharmacy C1 Heat 2 - C1q - 375 Heat 2 | SKINNY ANKLES and GOODTIME MIKE came together and bumped heavily in the initial stages, BOX OF FLUFFIES shifted inwards approaching the bend placing TAI BAXTER and HOMEBUSH DODGER in restricted room adjacent to the running rail. GOODTIME MIKE lost momentum rounding the bend when awkwardly placed near the heels of SKINNY ANKLES. WEE DIGER was referred to the Veterinarian following the event at the request of connections and was found to be suffering from minor abrasions. |
| Race 4 | Paul Claridge Electrical C2 - C2 - 375 | The start of this race was delayed 1 minute at the request of TAB control. DARK FAERYTALES and HOMEBUSH TIARE jostled for a distance entering the bend, with HOMEBUSH TIARE losing momentum. HOMEBUSH TIARE appeared indifferent in it's action for the remainder, finishing at the rear of the field and was subsequently referred to the Veterinarian for assessment. |
| Race 5 | J P Print, Petone C3 - C3 - 375 | SKEIK 'EM UP and GRUNT RODGERS were both slow to begin. TAKAMORI angled inwards abruptly rounding the bend checking CAWBOURNE ARROW which came back onto the trailing THOU ROMEO and WAIMAK DAVE. THOU ROMEO shifted out across the heels of CAWBOURNE ARROW entering the straight, inconveniencing the progress of WAIMAK DAVE momentarily. |
| Race 6 | Affordable Pet Accessories C5 - C5 - 375 | INDIVIDUAL LILY slipped and lost its footing leaving the boxes, losing considerable ground. This area was inspected by Stewards and found to be in a suitable racing condition. VARGA FROST and ELLE PACKER were crowded entering the bend when between YOUR SAY and ALLEGRO CLASS which angled inwards. WHEELIE GOOD ran wide entering the bend pushing YOUR SAY, VARGA FROST and SEMANTICS wider on the track. VARGA FROST was crowded for room shortly after when attempting to improve between YOUR SAY and SEMANTICS. |
| Race 7 | Personal Protective Services Ltd C0D - C0d - 660 | SPEED LEGEND and TORERO bumped leaving the boxes. KWASANT shifted inwards entering the first bend forcing SPEED LEGEND into the line of TAIKOREA LASSS which was tightened. ALAMEIN JUDE ran wide entering the first bend pushing TORERO wider on the track. ALAMEIN JUDE then shifted inwards contacting the heel of ARCANE RAMPAGE which was unbalanced momentarily. ARCANE RAMPAGE shifted outwards off the running rail entering the final bend forcing TAIKOREA LASS outwards onto the heels of ALAMEIN JUDE which was dragged down, with all runners losing momentum. |
| Race 8 | Brooks Timing C4 - C4 - 375 | AIR RAID raced in restricted room entering the bend when in tight quarters between UNLIKELY ATTACK and ALLEGRO TOUCH. |
| Race 9 | Outback Trading Company Ltd C4 - C4 - 375 | HANIFY ACE went up with the lids at the start, losing ground. ALAMEIN DUKE was slow to begin. PLENTY OF TIME made heavy contact with CAESAR CHANCE rounding the bend when PLENTY OF TIME attempted to shift outwards across the heels of that runner. PLENTY OF TIME was then further hampered when ALAMEIN DUKE which had improved to its inside, shifted outwards contacting the heel of PLENTY OF TIME. |
| Race 10 | Warehouse Stationery C4/5 - C4/5 - 457 | TIFINO and PREMIER DIVISION were the last pair to leave the boxes. REALLY CLEVER shifted inwards over the early stages crowding OPAWA SHAIDEN for several strides. OPAWA SHAIDEN and REALLY CLEVER bumped on several occasions entering the bend, with REALLY CLEVER becoming unbalanced. |
| Race 11 | Shakey Jakey At Rocky Ridge C3 - C3 - 375 | ZULU MERCEDES shifted inwards leaving the boxes crowding MIGHTY MAGIC which then shortly after shifted outwards forcing ZULU MERCEDES into the line of BOSTON STRIKE. ZULU MERCEDES ran wide entering the bend pushing KASIM and DEATHSTAR wider on the track. MIGHTY MAGIC and HOMEBUSH CRASH jostled for a short distance entering the straight. |
