Judicial report: 1) Trainer S Hindson (represented by H Anderton) was fined $100.00 as per the Minor Infringements Table after admitting a breach of Rule 69.11 when DARCY BRASCO weighed in 1.6 kgs under its last race weight on 7 April 2015. 2) OPAWA BUCKS EYE (Lane & Wales) must complete a satisfactory trial as per Rule 79.5. after its performance in Race 2. 3) ANOTHER PRINCE (J McInerney) must complete a satisfactory trial as per Rule 80 after Stewards deemed its performance in Race 3 to be unsatisfactory. 4) ADRENALIN KICK (Hart & Taylor) was stood down for 3 months after failing to pursue the lure in Race 4, this being the dog's second breach of Rule 79. 5) HOMEBUSH SPIKE (J McInerney) must complete a satisfactory trial as per Rule 79.5 after its performance in Race 10.

Race 1	Super Pets Dash - C0 - 295	TIMELY REMINDER (7) and SACAJAWEA (8) were the last pair on settling. MARTY MCMOTH (1) was checked into the bend and lost ground. OHOKA TORI (3) was tightened on the bend and lost ground forcing TIMELY REMINDER wider as this dog improved. ANOTHER PEARL (5) shifted up the track in the home straight forcing FIORELLI MICHI (6) wider on the track. When questioned in regards to the improved performance of the winner FAIR TRADING (2) handler J McInerney Jnr could offer no explanation other than commenting that today was the first time that the bitch had jumped on terms with the field.
Race 2	Opawa Bowl & Jack Tavern Stakes - C0 - 520	OPAWA BUCKS EYE (6) was very awkwardly away and tailed the field not completing the race with this bitch being referred to the vet for assessment. MALCY (4) and TERRA MONDO (8) were both slow to jump. CAWBOURNE ROMAN (3) and SUSAN JEWEL (2) were both tightened in the run to the first bend as GOLDSTAR PO (5) angled inwards. Following the race SUSAN JEWEL was referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury. OPAWA BUCKS EYE was found to have a serious injury in terms of Rule 79.3 and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before resuming.
Race 3	DogZone Sprint - C0 - 295	GUMP'S THE NAME (1) was very slow to leave the traps. ANOTHER PRINCE (2) dropped out and remained uncompetitive throughout. This dog was found to have tied up but no stand down was imposed by the vet. This dog had been warned in regards to its performance on 27 March. Stewards deemed this performance to be unsatisfactory and under Rule 80 ANOTHER PRINCE must complete a satisfactory trial. MUST DESIRE (7) was dragged down by OPAWA JEWEL (4) into the bend and lost ground with MIDNIGHT SPRITE (5) and ANOTHER KEY (8) both being inconvenienced. On the turn GUMP'S THE NAME ran outwards when improving quickly and badly checked OPAL JEWEL who lost ground. Stewards reviewed the replay to ensure that GUMP'S THE NAME had not breached Rule 79 when contacting OPAL JEWEL.
Race 4	Christchurch Casino Stakes - C0 - 520	LA KINKS (2) and OPAWA LARRY (7) were both slow to jump. Into the first bend MOBILIZE (3) was checked from behind by KNOW LUCK (1) with both dogs losing momentum. ANOTHER CRUISE (4) received a check in this incident.
Race 5	Kolorful Kanvas Dash - C0 - 295	COLERIDGE JIM (7) was last to jump. KNOW RIGHTS (2) was checked in the back straight as ANOTHER PENNY (4) ran inwards. FIRST OFFICER (3) and LUCAS SCOTT (5) both raced wide on the home turn. KNOW RIGHTS was referred to the vet following this event and found to have a torn nail.
Race 6	Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C2 - 295	BLAZING HOT (8) was last to jump. RINGA DING (1) was checked into the bend as BATIATUS (2) crossed to the rail. BROOKE DAVIS (7) received a check when racing to the outside of ADRENALIN KICK (4) on the turn. BLAZING HOT ran wide on the home turn. ADRENALIN KICK eased and turned its head outwards just short of the line with a post race veterinary check revealing no abnormalities. Co-trainer K Taylor admitted the breach and ADRENALIN KICK was stood down for 3 months under Rule 79.1.b. as this was the dog's second offence with a satisfactory trial also having to be completed. The connections advised that ADRENALIN KICK would no longer be persevered with as a racing proposition. Following this race BROOKE DAVIS was also referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 7	Glenbyre Tavern Sprint - C1 - 295	DARCY BRASCO (6) was a touch slow to jump. BHUJA (5) ran inwards contacting JAMAICAN ARCHIE (9) in the early stages and losing ground. BHUJA then ran outwards checking DARCY BRASCO. JAMAICAN ARCHIE checked outwards off the back of BIG BEN (3) into the bend and continued to trek outwards pushing WOOLY WHATSIT (7) wider on the track. DARCY BRASCO ran wide on the home turn and then dropped out with this dog being referred to the vet for assessment. JAMAICAN ARCHIE was also referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 8	Dave Robbie Photographer Stakes - C1 - 520	TRACEY (3) was very slow to jump with KNOW NEGLECT (2) also tardy from the traps. OPAWA GAVIN (4) was tightened into the first bend causing inconvenience to GOLDSTAR JUNIOR (5) which lost momentum. OPAWA GAVIN ran outwards on the home turn pushing BRUISER BALE (7) wider on the track.
Race 9	C.T.V. Dash - C2 - 295	JASPER HAKA (4) ran inwards checking ROYAL APACHE (1) in the early stages with ROYAL APACHE losing ground. OPAWA HOG (5) was tightened into the bend. EYREWELL HAWKE (7) raced in tight quarters on the bend as OHOKA HOPE (6) checked off the heels of COUNTRY CROSSING (8). OHOKA HOPE continued to race wide in the straight. When questioned in regards to the improved performance of the winner SHEZA GAMBLE (9) handler M McCook advised that a better draw was the main reason for the improvement.
Race 10	Amber Cleaning Services Dash - C1 - 295	ANOTHER QUEEN (6) was last to jump. HOMEBUSH SPIKE (1) eased free of interference racing into the bend and dropped back through the field causing checks to BUDGIE RIGHT (8), ANOTHER QUEEN and ADJUDICATOR (2) which had their chances extinguished. On the home turn HOMEBUSH SPIKE angled outwards pushing ANOTHER QUEEN and ADJUDICATOR over extra ground. MAY MAY LAST (4) shifted up the track in the straight causing TOKEN MUSCLES (5) to be pushed wider. HOMEBUSH SPIKE was referred to the vet for assessment where a serious injury in terms of Rule 79.3 was detected. HOMEBUSH SPIKE is required to complete a satisfactory trial.
Race 11	The Turf Bar Stakes - C1 - 520	KNOW CLOWN (9) was last to jump. KNOW SMIGGLE (3) and HOMEBUSH NINJA (10) came together in the run to the first bend with HOMEBUSH CORAL (5) being tightened in behind losing ground. KNOW CLOWN raced wide in the back straight.
Race 12	Protexin Sprint - C2 - 295	GOLDSTAR MARIO (2) was hard to box in this event with this dog being placed on the box first list for upcoming engagements. TOKEN STU (7) was a clear last on jumping with GLENN IS GOODSEY (1) also tardily away. MR. JOHNNY (3) ran inwards into the bend checking GLENN IS GOODSEY. GOLDSTAR MARIO was held up on the bend and then ran outwards contacting the hind quarters of KNOW FAULT (8) and pushing TONY'S CHOICE (5) over extra ground.
